Update... I have been here 7 years now. Carnegie is the place I call home now. The residents are like family. We care for each. My wife and I moved in February 2019. It has been a great experience for my wife and I. My wife passed away in 2024. I could have moved to an apartment somewhere else, but I decided I need to stay here, with friends, rather than be isolated in a lonely apartment complex. The staff is top notch... friendly, caring, responsive and always attentive to our safety and personal needs. Lots of activities every day and the planned outings keep me feeling exhilarated. But most important to me is the ability to make many new friends and be involved with the community at Carnegie. Being an avid gardener, I was excited when I found there was a gardening group here. I thought that when we left our home of 22 years, that would be the end of growing tomatoes. I now tend a 60ft. X 100ft. garden complete with tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, carrots, peas and more. Plus plenty of beautiful flowers. Carnegie is not the typical senior community. Come check it out.

I am quite amazed with this facility, the cleanliness of it and the friendliness of staff. The front desk receptionist is so sweet and kindhearted. The residents are friendly and very engaged in the daily activities that are provided. Most Assisted living facilities don’t have a charge nurse on duty 24/7 but this facility does so that’s a major bonus. I would in fact recommend this facility to all.

Carnegie Village has been a very good experience overall. The building is clean and well‘kept, and the atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. The staff members I’ve interacted with have been kind and patient, and they seem to genuinely care about the residents. The common areas are comfortable, and there are nice touches throughout that make it feel more like a community than a facility. Carnegie Village does a solid job of creating a safe, supportive environment. I appreciate the communication and the effort they put into making residents feel at home. It’s a place I feel comfortable recommending.

My family has had a great experience with this nursing facility. The staff is very attentive, compassionate, and always takes the time to listen. Nursing management is especially attentive. Wounds were consistently well cared for and any concerns received immediate attention. Management is easy to approach and genuinely willing to hear our concerns, which makes a big difference. We haven’t had this level of communication or responsiveness at other facilities, so it really stands out. We’ve especially noticed positive changes at the facility with the new Director of Nursing she’s clearly working hard to improve things, is very approachable, and even provided her personal phone number to ensure any concerns are addressed. It’s reassuring to see leadership so involved and committed to providing great care.

I was extremely impressed when we came to tour the IL facility for our loved one. The decor and the atmosphere are bar none. It is clean and well maintained and felt like a fancy place without being pretentious. There was a buzz in the building, residents were enjoying each other's company and spending time participating in activities. And there were so many activities available everyday. There were lots of outings to choose from as well. The full service dining room and medical transportation were also big draws for this facility. The tour was great. Not only were the apartments very spacious and well lit, but the staff were phenomenal. We were greeted with smiles at every turn from the front desk to the servers, to the housekeepers to the office staff. They all seemed genuinely excited about a new resident and were so friendly. Highly recommend! Your loved one will not be lonely or bored at all!

This is such a nice and friendly place. Their staff are so welcoming and helpful. The facility has recent updates and is very clean and well kept. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and has lots of amenities. It was nice to see so much activity and interaction between the staff and the residents. They had lots of opportunities to be social and involved. No getting bored here, and such a nice environment for a loved one to be. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place for your loved one to call home! They will not disappoint.

I would definitely recommend this facility, but also the CNA we had a lot was Gabriel, and he was the sweetest, most compassionate person that worked with my grandfather. When things got hard, he called me and told me he'd just been sitting with him because he didn't want him to be alone. And I couldnt say how thankful I was for that phone call.

The staff strives to take care of each person in a timely manner. The complex is clean and decorated nicely. The apartments are spacious with a home like feeling. There are plenty of activities that residents can be involved with including weekly outings and outside entertainment.

The maintenance men here in independent living, help me tremendously, they always respond in a timely manner and I appreciate it so much. And I’m in a wheelchair, and my housekeeper Paris goes above and beyond for me. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!

I highly recommend Carnegie Village. Luckily, they had an open assisted-living apartment when I needed to quickly find a place for my father. The apartment was very spacious and reasonably priced. The staff is fantastic, very caring and prompt. Great experience!
