My wife and I will celebrate our one year anniversary here at The Lakes next week. We are so thankful we came here. The staff, the opportunities for supervised exercise, socializing, facilities, our living quarters, location, etc. make living here a joy.

I am a current employee at the Lodge. For the past nearly 5 years I have greeted folks at the front desk as they arrive at The Lodge. We are blessed with many great families and I feel grateful to get to know and assist them. Our staff is well trained to care for those residents that require help.

I've worked here for a year and a half and absolutely adore the staff and residents! All of the staff is so amazing from the receptionists, LE staff, maintenance, to the servers, etc! I love to get to know the residents' stories and laugh with them daily!

At The Lakes of Stillwater, team members are shown great support and appreciation from our managers. The facility is beautiful and clean. It is a great atmosphere to work in. The residents are wonderful and I enjoy the time I get to spend with them. I'm proud to be part of the team here at the Lodge. There are plenty of activities for the residents to enjoy. This is a wonderfully active community.

I have been employed at the Lakes at Stillwater since we opened in May 2019. It is truly an honor to be able to come to work each day at this community. I love and care about the people that I get to serve each day (our residents) and I am grateful for my co-workers! The residents that reside in our community (the Lodge and Birchwood Landing) fill my heart up with so much joy. Learning about them and hearing about their life is the highlight of each day.

I have been employed at The Lakes for almost 3 years. I absolutely love my job and have had the most amazing team to work with. I often tell the staff and residents that I don't really "work"; I go to the community to hang out with my friends and I happen to get paid for it! I love what I do and I hope the residents get as much enjoyment out of our activities that I do. They are all like family to me.

Extremely disappointed in how things ended for our experience at the lakes. We loved the staff here, the full time caregivers, front desk staff, and activities team were exceptional. The upper management and DON lied to us and didn't have the whole story about how my dad eloped and would not come up with other options on how to keep him safe. A decision was made and he spent 2 weeks in a hospital bed for no reason when it would've just taken one extra screw in each window to secure the device in the windows to prevent them from opening up all the way. The DON claimed he 'fell into a pile of snow' when there hadn't been enough snow for a pile. And said he broke out of his bedroom window which also was false because we secured the window with maintenance the day we moved him to the garden level of memory care (we have pictures of the actual window he escaped from). I've been a nurse for 12 years and never had a phone conversation that had so many lies and been told things that felt insincere. For this reason I will never recommend this group or this facility to anyone. We toured other facilities and had 2 other places say they have heard similar complaints from family members whose loved ones have lived here. Unfortunate because the other staff is so great (!!) but your facility was unable to work with us. AT ALL. Julie Kelly no need to respond, I won't be reaching out to you, hope no one else gets fooled by how nice your facility is.

I have worked at The Lakes for just over a year and a half now. The challenges that we have faced are making us stronger and pushing us forward. The current leadership team has made significant progress when it comes to resident care, work place culture and employment satisfaction. There are always challenges when working in a healthcare setting, but the feel of this community has shifted in a great way over the last few months. When I walk into work I feel the loving and welcoming environment that I would want to feel if my loved ones lived here. There is always room to grow and do better, but we have come far and are continuing to improve each day. Our Executive Director and Director of Nursing have taken on hard situations with grace, empathy and patience. They have implemented necessary changes and are seeing the positive outcomes of their hard work. I am proud to be apart of this team and am honored to be apart of our residents lives each day.

I have worked at The Lakes at Stillwater for 2.5 years and I love coming to work every day. While we have had many growing pains (since we opened right before a global pandemic) I really see our team finding its stride now. Our Executive Director Julie and new Director or Nursing are really committed to hiring, retaining and training staff members. I see so many positive changes and more to come everyday. I think our building is tremendously clean and friendly and the activities are well planned. The food and special events are great. Our Rock Steady Boxing program for people with Parkinson's sets us apart as daily we help over 50 boxers use exercise to fight against the progression of their disease. I would encourage people who are looking for a place that offers a care continuum to schedule a tour and see for themselves. You will be impressed.

I loved working for the lakes the best year n 3 months, ever!!!!! Some downfalls but every job/company has that, its wasnt always good days but it wasnt all bad!!! It felt like we were becoming a family, figuring it all out and putting our residents at the at the center of everything we do. Covid hit and yea activities got canceled n what not. But we were trying to keep our residents safe!!! Result of that was hardly anyone tested positive for covid in our facility. I love the lakes! Amazing facilty great staff, and awesome residents!! It really is the place to be!!

I absolutely L.O.V.E this community. I went there to meet the team and tour the community this last week. The team is so engaged and warm and inviting, and the community speaks for itself. Absolutely cozy, modern and an amazing place to live for our seniors.
