We moved my Dad to The Wellstead of Rogers in Dec. of '21 because he needed advanced memory care. My Dad entered hospice whilst in their care and died a few months later. Every aspect of care was top notch with few exceptions. They often lost clothing but that, I've since learned is part of memory care. Sometimes the staff were overwhelmed so staffing could have been better but then it was during the Covid peak. My Dad became hard to handle sometimes toward the end and they handled him well for the most part. I visited twice a week and when there was an issue there was always somebody there to address it.

The setting of The Wellstead & Diamondcrest is pleasing with ponds, trees and a gazebo. The care of the Residents is very kind and compassionate. The Reception staff are welcoming. The kitchen servers are attentive and aim to please. Activities are the most enjoyable with a variety of things to do. The new bus is able to take us to the community to enjoy fun trips and shopping!

Happy National Caregivers Day to all of the staff at Diamondcrest/Wellstead. The kindness and care that you have shown our dad (Ron Hofstedt) since he moved into your facility in mid November 2021 is greatly appreciated by our entire family. From the moment we walk into the front door, during our visits and upon leaving it's so nice to see and hear from friendly staff and know that our dad is in good hands. The best part about the move was the fact that he appeared to be comfortable there right from the start. Thank you to the nurses, front desk staff, maintenance staff, dining room staff, activities staff and administration staff. Your attention to both his needs and ours means so much to all of us. Keep up the great work!!

My Mom was only able to live at Wellstead for a very short time until passing away; but my Mom and I were treated with the ultimate care and love. The staff's support and devotion to my Mom's transitioning into the memory care "chickadee" wing was amazing. I would want to live here if I were elderly and needing assistance. Thank you very much to the staff at The Wellstead.

The Wellstead of Rogers has done a great job of keeping residents safe and happy, especially during the pandemic. They have helped us stay connected with family even when we cant be face-to-face through weekly garden visits (summer) and Zoom calls (winter). The patience and love the staff have shown our loved ones is a testament to the quality of individuals they hire, and in many instances, retain

My father initially moved in to Diamondcrest 1 year ago but required memory care very quickly. The entire team made the transfer to Wellstead as seamless and compassionate as possible. Since his transfer he has had challenges associated with the progression of the disease. Both my father and I have been supported every step of the way.I am grateful for the entire team.

I worked at The Wellstead of Rogers for almost 6 years. I can honestly say that this community does excellent dementia care. The neighborhoods for memory loss where residents can be placed with alike residents based on cognitive and physical ability is exceptional and the montesori way of doing things allows each and every resident the ability to adapt to an environment that supports memory loss while providing them the framework for releasing the vision of independence, self esteem and a promising future. I enjoyed working with the residents, families and all of the staff here..it was an incredible journey...one that I will remember for a lifetime.

I have been an employee of the Wellstead for nearly 17 years. I didnt know anything about Alzheimers and Dementia when I started all those years ago. The Wellstead has taught me and continues to teach me about the disease and its process. No two people who live here are going through it the same each resident is unique. I know this not only because I work here but also because I have two family members who live here, not together but in different areas of the community and each going through the disease process differently. The staff understands their individual needs and is accommodating to them just like all of our residents. I know when I go home at night that my family members are well cared for and safe....and loved by their Wellstead family. The Wellstead gives me peace of mind!

I have worked with a number of staff over the years on a professional level. Its always refreshing to see people who truly care about what they do, especially when it comes to memory care. It can often be the most challenging population to care for by far. I love their different neighborhoods to accommodate the varying cognitive impairment levels! It makes me so happy to hear the positive feedback from their residents when I visit. Thank you Wellstead staff for doing what so many of us cannot!

The leadership in this community (especially the ED and head of nursing) are excellent people who truly care about and stay involved with every single resident. The staff are involved and engage the residents instead of doing just their daily list of duties. Its truly excellent.

It has been difficult to navigate some aspects of my moms aging process and dementia, but I am beyond thrilled that we found this placement for her. Her care team is incredibly professional and compassionate. I feel blessed that my mom is in such good hands.

I love the Wellstead. Their nursing team really cares for each person and goes above and beyond. Many facilities dont seem to have the greatest aide staff but their aides are rockstars! The facility is always clean and the rediscovery director Susan is amazing. She does so much to keep people active and busy and really thinks outside of the box how to keep those with dementia engaged! Im impressed!

I have been an employee at the Wellstead of Rogers for nearly 20 years. It is my privilege to care for our Alzheimers residents each and every day. I have to say that this is a great place to work! I really enjoy being part of the management team. The people I work with have a great devotion to our residents. There are always great activities happening here like music, art, time with animals to pet and hold, children coming to volunteer, court yards with flowers to enjoy, ice cream socials that happen every day and so much more! Our activities staff rock! Our food is fabulous, we even have a pastry chef who makes most of our breads, soups and all the desserts and so many other specialtialty items for our residents and visiting family members. I highly recommend The Wellstead to those that can no longer care for their loved ones with Alzheimers at home. Come join our family at The Wellstead.

After facility research with the agency A Place for Mom, my sister and I chose Wellstead because numerous providers (podiatry, dental, primary care doctor (NP), hearing aids, etc.,) come to the facility to see Mom. This has been a great asset and works out very well for Mom and us.Mom has been in The Wellstead of Rogers Memory Care facility Chickadee neighborhood for a year. Mom enjoys their music, games, bingo, puzzles, the ice cream parlor, and interaction with other residents living in Chickadee. Chickadee neighborhood is for higher functioning residents with memory issues. The facility continues to make lovely upgrades and Chickadee has been completely remodeled and is a wonderful neighborhood for Mom. Jennifer Kuhn the new Director has made numerous improvements with staff hiring and movement, communication between family members and staff, a news letter, flyers with pictures of staff workers and their information, family conference calls and her office is in the Memory Care facility building. It is never easy moving a loved one, Mom, into memory care. She is safe now, cared for 24 hours, the staff know who we are and always willing to help. I hope the facility continues to grow and provide the loving care of our Mom and other memory care residents who deserve nothing less than respect and kindness everyday!
