Rose Arbor & Wildflower Lodge – Reviews
May 2022
My husband has only been at Rose Arbor for about 4 months but he really likes it there. The staff is friendly and usually helpful. Unlike some of the assisted living places we looked at the food is very good. We're so thankful for a good chef.

We at Caring Transitions went to Rose Arbor yesterday and visited with Jill. She was lovely to talk to and seems very personal and friendly to all the residents and staff. We were also impressed by the tour and loved the cozy cabin feel of the place! Looked like a great place to live.

I love the place! A warm, friendly and cozy environment with a taste of cabin life while centrally located. Close to shops, advanced healthcare and so much more. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere in this building is very welcoming and comfortable. Residents are friendly and helpful. Staff truly love what they do and many have been here a long time. I love that turkeys can be seen and heard outside, reminds me of being up north. If you love the outdoors you will love this place.

I have visted Rose Arbor several times, and have always been made to feel like part of the family from the moment I walk in the door! From the cozy Minnesota decor to the wonderful, caring and dedicated staff, Rose Arbor is truly a gem! Seeing a smile on every resident face is a true testament to anyone who visits!

My mom and I came here to check out the Wildflower Lodge for my dad. Stacy and Jill were so professional and informative. We really loved the atmosphere of the neighborhoods and the warm and comfortable feeling. Several of the care givers have worked here for many years. We really loved it!

Thank you so much for the invite to your open house a few weeks ago. We were welcomed by management who were very friendly. During the tour of their beautiful community we meet several seniors and staff. Honestly everyone appeared happy and outgoing. If my parents lived in the area were looking for senior community Arbor Rose would be on the top of the list!

Rose Arbor and Wildflower Lodge truly is a fun, loving, cozy place. The building is gorgeous, but Im talking about the staff and residents. I worked there for a few months, and I can honestly say I have never been happier. Everyone is so kind, fun, helpful, positive, uplifting and inspiring. They have so many activities, events, parties and outings that the residents look forward to. Not to mention the food is great. The caretakers are fantastic. I cant say enough about the fantastic staff and residents. If you have a loved one that is looking for a 5 star place to live, then Rose Arbor and Wildflower Lodge is a no brainer.

Very professional caring staff. Dads nurse during the day was great with him and his care. I wish there was a way to see them at night when families cant be there but to check in just to know they are okay. I never met the night staff. His hospice care was good. A man played music for him and another gave him massages. The nurse from hospice was ok but the on staff day nurse was the very best. Its a sad time in the lives of family as this is where my father took his last breath here on earth. Hes in a perfect place now. Thank you for being there for us at a painful time. However its been a few years and staff changes. If something isnt right speak up for your loved ones because with Alzheimers they cant speak up. Dad was kicked out of another nursing home which was horrible with him but they lured us in when Mom was in short term care saying they could take care of both of them. Wildflower was there for us when dad and us needed them most.

My mother has been at Wildflower Lodge for almost a year now. Contrary to what my brother, Troy Stowell, wrote in his review ( which I don't know how he could review Wildflower since he has never been there and has never visited our mother) , the care for my mother has been fantastic. When she first moved in she was exit seeking and they calmly worked with her. She is doing great now. She is no longer exit seeking, she enjoys socializing with other residences, she participates in daily activities including morning exercises, daily afternoon activities, loves getting her hair and nails done at the in house beauty salon and especially loves listening to the musicians that come in regularly to play all types of music genre for the residences to sing along with and dance if they see fit. She was even given a "job" which made her happy since she sometimes insists she is there working, not living there. The staff is very willing to communicate with our family regarding mom's needs. They DO NOT over medicate her, and in fact have worked with us to stop most of the meds she was taking prior to moving in. We searched frantically for a facility for mom when it became impossible to keep her from wandering and Wildflower has met all our expectations and all of our mother's needs.

We moved my 94-year-old parents into Rose Arbor independent living a year ago. Last week, RA staff went above and beyond - and made my folks' day - by recognizing their 74th wedding anniversary. They surprised them with a beautiful card signed by many of the staff and a gift of two free meals, which touched my parents and meant a lot to them. Staff went over and above the "usual" to recognize this milestone, and my parents were so appreciative. All of us know how busy the RA staff is, with more to do than time allows, so this kind of special attention was very meaningful. This is the kind of service that confirms to all of us that this facility was the right choice for them. We took Mom and Dad on five facility tours, but they knew after touring with you that Rose Arbor "felt" right. It did then, and it does now. Susan Rivard

I've been familiar with the Rose Arbor Senior Living Community for nearly 10 years now - first my mom-in-law and now a dear friend have been residents. The staff and residents are such a blessing. Each time I visit I know that my friend is safe and secure in the building and that she has plenty of social opportunities. I know that transitioning to a senior facility can be stressful, but the neighbors have been so warm and friendly. I'm hoping there's a place just like Rose Arbor for me when I get to that point of my life.

Rose Arbor Wildflower Lodge took great care of my mother. Their apartment homes are spacious and provide privacy, especially for those that share a unit will find that the floor plans make it as though they have their very own apartment, each tenant having their own restroom as well. The kitchens are spacious and furnished. The staff is amazing! Mother said the food was outstanding and the log cabin style decor is outstanding! Honestly, compared to alot of other Assisted Living Communities that I've seen in Minnesota, Rose Arbor Wildflower Lodge is the best in the Midwest hands down and without question.

My father and my father in law have been at Rose Arbor for over 2 yrs. We have been very pleased with the care that they have received. The building is delightful and clean, the food very good, the activities nicely varied and several options each day, the staff available, friendly, and professional. We worked closely with the nurses and aids to get the best care for our fathers. That is the key. The families need to "be present" and work together with the staff to maximize the best care for loved ones. Ann
