I recently rode my electric scooter over to Highview Hills in Lakeville to visit my grandma. The senior living facility itself is absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean inside. Every staff member I ran into was super friendly and welcoming to visitors. My grandma really loves living here and always talks about how nice the community areas are. However, I was pretty disappointed when I arrived and realized there were no bike racks anywhere outside to secure my ride. I had to get creative to make sure my scooter didn't get taken while I was inside. Adding some outdoor racks for bikes and scooters would make this place absolutely perfect for younger visitors. Overall, it is still a fantastic, top-tier home, but a little extra outdoor utility would go a long way.

Walker Methodist is a beautiful facility. My aunt is happy and receives great care. She has been there two years. I have been been there at meal time and she seems content to linger there with staff and in enjoy watching the interaction between staff members and the residents.

From the day we first walked through the doors to place our mother in Kaleidescope care we got a warm welcome. Bev loved it there and even though she had dementia you could feel the calm it gave her. Thanks to their caring staff, her last months were good ones.

We enjoy living at Highview Hills. Just about everything we need is right here & the staff are all helpful & efficient. We've been here for a year & so far are independent but it's good to know that more services are available when the time comes. More things to do than we have time for!

My father moved into Highview Hills 8 years ago & until this weekend was happy & content residing there. It’s a beautiful building & he has enjoyed participating in many of their offered activities. Following a one month stay at a transitional care facility in October due to a broken vertebrae my Dad returned to Highview this past Thursday with the understanding that he would be receiving Level 3 Assisted Living Care. He was instructed to put his Call Light on whenever he needed to transfer from bed, chair or toilet. He was to also receive assistance with dressing & showering. Unfortunately, to his frustration, he found himself waiting for 30 minutes to an hour for help after pressing his light for help. He was forced to take matters in his own hands & gave up calling for help & just did everything himself. As a family we had felt comfortable sending him back to Highview since he would have the assistance he needed. This did not happen. In addition he woke up to having no heat in his apartment on Saturday. Maintenance did arrive to fix the problem after we were first informed maintenance would fix it on Monday but we informed the concierge that this would be unacceptable for our 96 year old father to have no heat all weekend. Unfortunately, the fix did not last & Dad was without heat again on Sunday requiring maintenance to return. The cost for Assisted Living Care is not cheap & to receive less than adequate care from this facility is unacceptable. To say that my Dad, my siblings and I are frustrated is currently an understatement. UPDATE” (12/02/22) Our family would like to thank Highview Hills administration & staff for working tirelessly in working to alleviate our frustrations & provide our father with quality care. In a conversation with my Dad this morning, he indicated everything to be going well & how happy he is to be back at Highview among his friends & fellow residents who have become like family to him. Thank you all so much for the love & care you provide to our valued Seniors. °

Beautiful facility with plenty to keep busy. My mom is on the drug administration program.The nursing staff is slow to respond, for instance, when requesting meds for an overnight visit (never did respond) or for medical requests when in need of a nurse or doctor's orders. This has been frustrating for us when we are paying such a hefty monthly fee for her care. If your loved one is not in need of these services, this is likely a lovely living option.

My Dad has lived at Highview for almost nine years and I have been so pleased with the staff and the facility. It is the best place for him and I totally trust them to care for his physical and social needs. They are the best!
