My mom stayed here for a little less than 2 weeks after surgery to mend a broken wrist and femur. We did a ton of research trying to find a specialized nursing facility with good reviews. Augustana was one of our top choices and we were fortunate that they had a bed available upon her discharge from the hospital. I was a little apprehensive after a tour of the facility (it is definitely old and there are not many bells and whistles). The rooms are small and basic (albeit clean and functional). But I assure you, do NOT judge a book by its cover! My mom received amazing care here! From the nurses to the PT and OT staff, everyone she encountered was kind and caring. She loved the daily activities and the home cooked meals. She is hoping to volunteer at Augustana once she is physically able. If you are looking for a facility to entrust your family to, I would highly recommend Augustana Chapel View

Overall pretty good , I was woke up a lot in middle of the night with aides turning on all lights to put towels in room. Put sign on door and no more problems. The food was hit or miss. The staff was great especially nurses Krystal, Alexis , n/a Aaron and Sandy. Some communication issues with late night staff. Been in this place for 60 days due to covid rehab. Rehab staff great also, Randy, Lorraine, Rosy, Bree, Carly. Thanks to everyone. Jim O

Recently a family members dropped off this note: Choosing the perfect place for our family member to live was an easy decision. We had heard about how warm and inviting Augustana Chapel View Apartments were; all of our expectations have been exceeded. We are extremely happy with our decision. Chapel View offers a wide variety of daily activities available to its residents and much to our pleasure and surprise, our family member has joined most of them. He keeps remarking about how happy he is and how much he loves his new home. He feels he has never been so happy.
