I am a new caregiver for one of your residents. Your property is gorgeous. The staff were very helpful! The walkways around the property are very nice. I loved the painted rocks on the back wall. I loved the music performance today with the lady singing and playing guitar. It was great seeing the resident singing along! The whole place was very clean and inviting! Looking forward to my next visit next Wednesday afternoon!

I am only giving three stars and for this reason only, everything else was wonderful. The hand sanitizer outside, the third floor elevator, I swear, Was full of soap and not hand sanitizer. It’s a half an hour later and my hands are still very very sticky as is my steering wheel Unfortunate.

I spent a number of hours with my uncle. During the visit I was absolutely impressed by the amount of personal attention I saw staff giving to each resident. Making sure they were taken care of and smiling. I could not have asked for a better facility to be in charge of helping my uncle and being there to assist him. For the last 2 years I have volunteered every other week in your memory care with piano and singing. It is super important to have a piano and interactive singing as a day brightener for the residents, staff, & myself. It blesses me as well as the residents.

I came to see my stepmom Betty Potterton and it’s always a beautiful place to visit. While I was there 2 people came- 1 just to say hello and the other to change her wound.dressing. Very nice people to talk to. I’m so glad she is there. The facility is great, she loves the food and she is well taken care of.

I am a dog walker who has a client that lives here. All of the staff are so friendly, helpful, and seem so genuine in their care for the residents there. Every conversation I've over heard between staff and people that reside there are so full of joy. The help and care is above and beyond. The safety and well-being of everyone that lives or visits is obviously a top priority for them. They have so many activities and social get togethers along with an abundance of amenities for keeping seniors active and healthy.

My siblings and I have had some concerns over the past 2 or so years. Seems that the nurse is getting harder and harder to get a hold of. While our mother is still relatively independent, she has some health issues. We try to keep in contact with nursing staff from time to time and it is growing increasing difficult to reach them. Another concern is that some of our mother’s items cannot seem to be found. We know they were with her when she moved in a few years back, but now (specifically since Covid) some things cannot be found. Staff is unsure of whereabouts, but have said they continue to keep an eye out. We are pleased that both Covid vaccines have been given.

Amazing staff and greatly managed!! My grandmother loves it here and the friendly staff are always accommodating. Highly recommended. Every senior seems to be given a great amount of care. Management has done a great job being just as compassionate as the staff.

My parents came to the Colony 4 years ago to an apartment on the independent living side. The size of the facility is perfect, big enough to have much going on, and small enough to be personal and without endless long hallways to the apartments. It has been nothing but a wonderful experience. The staff are so kind and friendly and my mother considers some of them friends. My father moved to the memory care unit a couple of months ago, and has now passed away. In his short time in "Rose Court", he had the most compassionate, positive and skilled caregivers and staff one could imagine. The vibe was pleasant and calm, and the nurses anticipated his changing needs and communicated to the family readily. I highly recommend the Colony if you are looking for a living facility for someone.

My mother has been at the colony since mid June. She is in memory care, Rose Court is the name of the wing. When she started living there she was from another facility. Heavily medicated and told she needed extra help for getting in out of bed etc. She is no longer on the medication that was keeping her inactive. Also not needing extra help and joining in the activities and making friends. She is happier than she has been in several months. Definitely give the Colony a tour...

My mother has been a resident of The Colony since April 2016. Our family is more then thrilled at the wonderful care and concern that she has been receiving. We love that services can be ordered to accommodate what ever Mom may need at certain times for her care. Staff is always very friendly and they return phone calls and inquiries very quickly. I would recommend The Colony to anyone who is looking for a friendly and safe place for their relative.
