Was a warm and friendly environment. He gave my father in law the care that he needed. If we had questions they were able to answer. My father in law seemed very comfortable there and he had no complaints.

Clean; quiet; wide variety of services; perhaps a little pricey for the many add-on services. Confusing program for rentals vs buy-in. Independent living apartments very nicely done. Overall decor a little outdated. Friendly and helpful staff.

My father moved to thorncrest in April. He is getting the care he needs for this time of his life. The family was able to share mothers day in one of the common areas. The staff are very respectful and provide great care. I am thankful that we chose thorncrest for this journey of his life.

I was pleasantly surprised by all the amenities included with a package. I honestly can not think of one more service any one could need or want. They've covered it all! So bright, cheerful and clean, are important to me. Even though it is independent living, you have all the opportunities to partake in as everyone else. My family is very pleased with the care, professionalism, and kindness that Thorne Crest staff have shown during the move-in process. Catherine is amazing, and has been with us every step of the way. Everyone has been attentive and friendly-from the front desk attendant to the maintenance staff. We are so blessed to know that our family member is in a safe, caring, and beautiful environment.

My dad recently moved into the Independent Living and is loving the new change to his life. All the staff has been amazing. Answered all our questions, helped with questions about the apartment and very easy and willing to assist him. I would strongly encourage other families to bring their loved ones to Thornecrest!

Both of my parents are currently at Thorne Crest. The staff has been very helpful to our family in navigating the various challenges of moving them both during a difficult time and we are extremely grateful for their guidance. They’ve been patient and resourceful and very caring. Catherine has definitely gone out of her way to make the transition smooth. Our grandmothers also resided at Thorne Crest and received excellent care.

Thornecrest was a nice facility for my Mother and my husband’s aunt. There are plenty of activities, the pool being such a plus and the facility is clean and friendly. I would have given it five stars if the meal offerings were a little bit more of a restaurant feel where the residents had more options and felt as if they were dining out in a fancy restaurant.

The staff at Thorne Crest are amazing. They are respectful, compassionate, empathetic, and caring towards our residents. During this pandemic time, the staff is doing everything they can to protect them from the virus. They are true super heroes without a cape but with eye protection, masks and the whole PPE equipment. My parents received such a warm welcome when they moved to Thornecrest a few months ago. Due to the special circumstances that have arisen due to Covid, the staff members have been doing an outstanding job of keeping their lives as satisfying, safe, and normal as they can. Mom and Dad tell us how kind and willing to help the staff members in all departments have been. As family members, we are so appreciative each time an issue comes up, and we are told, "We can take care of that for you! ". We are amazed how quickly Mom and Dad have adapted to this new chapter in Assisted Living, and know without a doubt that we chose the right place for them to call home.

Thorne Crest warmly welcomed my parents during this pandemic. The staff accommodated all of their moving needs with ease. They promptly assisted with picture hanging and additional grab bars. Satisfying meals are enjoyed in small groups making conversation opportunities possible. Morning exercise class has improved mom's mobility and stamina. Hall walks have increased dad's strength. Thorne Crest is now their new home!

ThorneCrest staff contributed to my mom having 7 especially happy years in her independent apartment. Her daily pool exercise class with Leah was a highlight. She was happy with her meals, the activities and field trips (all pre-covid), and especially her apartment and lovely courtyard.

Thorne Crest is very clean facility and they have beautifully designed their rooms with quality materials and craftsmanship. I would have given Thorne Crest a 5/5 star rating but my 4/5, was for the blowing noise to the heating and cooling system, which is typical in apartment style living. Throne Crest has an amazing heated, salt water pool and the class offerings for the residents is hard to to beat. Most importantly, the entire staff at Thorne Crest are caring and kind and really do seem to enjoy the work they do!

We are very happy with the care our parents have received at Thorne Crest. The staff was super kind and supportive during Mom’s final illness. And they’ve made the independent living apartment a true home for Dad. Can’t say enough how grateful we are.
