My dad moved into the memory care at oak park place. The staff, the receptionist, the helpers, the cooks and anybody else I missed who works there are all awesome. I trust the care that he receives and the attention that he gets. Thank you all!!

Mom moved in at the end of September 2022 and absolutely loves her apartment, the staff, the food, and the activities. The staff are so nice and they keep her busy all day so she never had a moment of missing her home. All the residents are friendly and very welcoming. I couldn’t be happier that my mom is well looked after and happy!

My Mom moved in O.P.P. in August 2021. It is a very nice place to live! Very pretty, clean and everyone (employees & people that live there) is so friendly! She has 3 meals a day, activities, help cleaning her apartment, rides to the doctor in town, and maintenance is very helpful to Mom. The girls are just a button push away! Mom's favorite activity is Bingo!! The Employees go above duty!! It is almost like a large family!!

Oak park has a warm welcome setting to visitors. The staff is friendly and fun. I have volunteered a few times, the residents like to have fun. Their activity department has the residents and staff involved in the activities.

From the beginning of our search, our experience with Oak Park Place has been amazing. Blake always took the time to answer our questions and we never felt pressured into anything. Setting everything up from the paperwork to actually moving my grandpa in was so smooth. We truly appreciate Oak Park Place for not only getting involved in the Albert Lea Walk to End Alzheimers every year as a Sponsor, but as well a member of the staff has always joined us on the Walk Planning Committee and worked with us to create a great event every single year! We are excited to have Blake Severson who has agreed to be our Sponsorship Chair for the 2021 Walk to End Alzheimers!

We recently moved a family member to Oak Park Place and it was a very smooth transition. The tours we took were welcoming and without pressure. All of the staff members have been professional and helpful. The nursing staff does a very thorough assessment of resident needs such as medications, assistance with activities of daily living, setting up medical appointments, etc. The communication has been very good; with questions and requests being answered in a timely manner. The meals we have shared are tasty and the kitchen staff is personable and accommodating. Numerous recreational activities are offered to residents. The building is clean and well-maintained. So far, our experience with Oak Park Place has been quite positive.

My sweet momma moved into Oak Park Place last week, Jan. of 2020. The staff was so kind and efficient. There are many moving parts when transitioning my mom into a memory care unit. I gratefully did not feel pressured for time or any lack of attention during the process. There was a sense of pride in the facility and a genuine concern for the community. My mom has lived in Oak Park for several months now. She has made many friends and enjoys visiting with the staff. They stop in her room before their shift just to say hi and see how she is doing. Our family is so appreciative for all they do, she is really thriving now and it is great to see that.

Oak Park Place is a great place to live. The building is clean and always well decorated. The food is great and there are a lot of activities. The staff is attentive and they respond quickly when we need help. They treat us like their own family. They manage our prescriptions, we get free transportation to appointments, shopping and what not. And the VA clinic isn't far away. We are really comfortable living here.

Since I have moved into Oak Park Place Assisted Living, my family feels much more secure in knowing that I am somewhere safe and that I am well-taken care of. The nurses are very friendly here. They are nice to talk to and always ask me if I need anything. The Maintenance guys are also very helpful. I like the fact that Oak Park's van can take me to my appointments here in town.
