My husband and I we look many places. We are going on four years and we chose Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby because was a nice place to call home. The staff and everyone that works here are amazing. Many things to do and enjoy. Everyone is one big family. Was a blessing to move here.

Amazing staff! Looking after my aunt who lives at the Villas has been truly a treat. The staff is welcoming, food is great, and there is something fun for her to every day. I'm most impressed with the personal relationship the staff has with the residents. Joanne, the ED, is out engaging with the staff and residents every time I visit. From the front desk to activities to sales to housekeeping, everyone has wrapped their arms around my aunt leaving me with such peace and comfort. Trust is such a rare thing now a days. I'm so happy to have chosen The Villas!

Yes you have to be a senior to live at Pine Ridge but no you don’t have to be a senior to LOVE it. We are helping our aunt move in there and it’s like a resort or being on permanent vacation. The property is beautiful, the apartments are reasonably affordable and really nice. The employees are so gracious and the residents really seem happy and friendly. It’s the first time, since my uncle died, that my aunt has had a big smile on her face. I am so grateful and thankful that we found Pine Ridge.

A warm and friendly active place. I feel safe and secure within this community. I have made many friends and enjoy getting together with them to play cards, go to dinner, karaoke and enjoy Friday hour! A very warm and friendly staff and, the decor is lovely. No need for a car here, as there is plenty of transportation options. No more cooking and cleaning for me!

I am very happy here despite the loss of my husband almost 3 months ago. I have made some life long friends here and I am blessed to be able to stay active and engaged with all aspects of the community. I appreciate the staff and the management's efforts to enhance our daily lives.

This is a great affordable place that my mom has called home for over 2 years now! The activity directors (Jamie and Kathy) are truly one of a kind. They have a monthly calendar and they plan so many different exciting things daily for the residents. My mom especially loves the bingo nights and the Friday Happy Hours with music! Jamie and Kathy periodically check on all residents and sometimes they assist a resident to attend an activity! They are very caring and always concerned for the residents. I can't say enough about the girls and the department they run there! So glad I picked this place for my mom last year!

Moved Mom in after my father passed in 2015. She was a little hesitant, no make that a lot hesitant to leave her house but the staff here at Pine Villas were very welcoming and she has "thrived" since then. With the pandemic everyone was challenged but the Villas made the best of what could have been devastating situation. The Staff is very attentive to Mom's needs as she progresses down the long road of memory loss.

My wife and I have been here for one year and eight months, what a great place to live! We have met a lot of great people, that are like family now. We enjoy the social interaction and all the great activities they have to offer such as cards, games, trivia and karaoke to name a few. We have complete staff support that we feel really cares about us. The residents are treated with respect, and the focus is to keep us Vibrant and Happy. We enjoy our spacious and modern apartment with a balcony and a beautiful view. The food is great, with many choices from our Chef prepared meals. We have great Housekeeping services. We enjoy exercising 3 to 4 times a week and all the options of transportation offered such as shopping, restaurants, movies, theater, doctor appointments or just a drive out to a park. It’s really a Fun Place to Live!

I would like to say that after 12 years of my parents, and now my mother residing here alone, I can't say enough good stuff about Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby. They are in a safe, caring community that goes above and beyond an independent community. My father needed a lot of extra care in his later years and the in house company was always there for him and my mom. The staff have gone out of their way to make this the safest living space during this pandemic. I'm confident in their expertise. It's been a challenging time for us all. But, I can't tell you how many times, I caught a team member providing assistance, to a resident, that is not part of their job description, and always with a smile. Nothing is 'like their own home" but having a dining room, activities, entertainment, and friends her own age has enriched my mom. Honestly, I don't know how they do it all, with all difficulties we are all experiencing, they continue to do their best. My mom is 95 + now and is happy to say that she still lives alone,....... with the staff of the Villas, she can!

Pine ridge villas of Shelby is an excellent place to live. There’s friendly staff, lots of activities, different size rooms to accommodate your needs. A nice lobby with fireplace and nice courtyard with a walking path. Prices are not as high as other facilities in the area without sacrificing a nice place to live. They also allow you to paint if you want your room a certain color.

My sister has been living there for a few years now and what a wonderful place. She has made several friends and enjoys the activities every day. The staff has been great and super accommodating. The residents are super sweet, happy and friendly. Food is very good and restaurant quality. We're jealous of her new living arrangements! 🙂

My mother has lived here at the Villas for over a year. The staff are very kind and considerate to her. They have show great compassion for all of her needs. The food in the cafeteria is great and my mother enjoys the variety and quantity of the meals. The daily activities engage her and allow for interaction with other residents. The decision to put her at this facility has proven to be the best thing for her. I highly recommend it to anyone.

After much research, along with visiting multiple facilities, I selected Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby for my independent mother. In December of 2019 my 90 year old mother moved in and was lovingly welcomed into her new home by the staff and (soon to become) friends! Nearly two years later, mom is still enjoying her home, her friends, and the staff. Pine Ridge offers a comfortable environment for seniors who enjoy social activities like carriage rides, themed parties (think Hawaiian Luau), craft classes, education classes, cards, trivia, exercise, and movies to name a few activities. They also have church services in their Chapel. Scheduled transportation is available for residents to run errands or appointments locally. For my mom and I the number one reason for selecting Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby wasn't necessarily the activities or amenities offered, but was the extremely caring Staff! From my first visit forward, EVERYONE has been nothing but kind and helpful! They know their residents by first name and don't hesitate to acknowledge them passing in the hall. They go out of their way to encourage and engage the residents! Mom and I are happy to call Pine Ridge "HOME"!

The villas is an OUTSTANDING community thIs is truly a place to call home. The residents & staff genuinely care for the well-being of each other & extended family like myself. Boy is this place nice. My 92 yr old friend is looking into moving here in the next month. The residents are all out on the grounds visiting and inside playing games and talking. Activity level was 10 out of 10 here. I could not believe it. Just visited another similar residence and the the people there were just sitting or shuffling around. The price for apartment and services is much lower and service is super from what I see. The employees bent over backwards to serve the residents and treat them with respect.

Our mother has lived here for five years after moving from her home of over 50 years in another state. The team and atmosphere at The Villas are outstanding! They go above and beyond to provide professional and compassionate care. They are helpful, friendly, engaged and utilize an innovative approach when developing unique projects and events for the residents. The Villas of Shelby are well-managed. The staff is always approachable and patiently provides assistance. The facility is very clean and well-maintained. Our family could not have made a better choice. My Aunt and uncle recently moved in here . It seems like a very nice place , they are happy with there apt. Especially the view from there terrace, lots of trees and green stuff to look at . They are at tree top level lot's of birds and squirrel's to count instead of cars going by . The staff is real nice . There are lots of safety features and activities. The food is well done for a place like that as well

Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby is the perfect place for my mom to live. She can get a little help when she needs it. Everyone there is wearing a smile. Meals are offered. Very clean and decorated nicely. Grounds are beautiful. Apartments are roomy. Lots of fun activities going on all the time.

Pine Ridge Shelby is a great community. The building itself has a really unique style and the apartments are large. They also treated me to a great lunch in their dining room. The staff is always courteous and friendly during my visits. I would not hesitate to to recommend Pine Ridge to anyone who is looking.

Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby served as the perfect fit for my parents for five years. It’s in a lovely wooded setting with a walking path for those who want to stay fit. Unlike other independent senior communities, it offers enhanced services on site that enabled my parents to age gracefully in place. This feature was instrumental in allowing my dad to qualify for veterans benefits to help with expenses. We visited many communities before selecting the Villas and the determining features for us were the smaller size and more intimate connection between the staff and the residents, a hot breakfast served daily, and weekly live entertainment. They welcome visits from family and friends, and allow them access to a caf© with complimentary beverage services 24/7. Daily specials created by the chef offer delicious options for residents and guests, and if that isn’t appealing, there is always the option to order from a menu. Overall, our experience at the Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby has been top-notch, enabling us to create special family memories as my parents aged and began to need more assistance. The staff at the Villas is caring and helpful, and makes each resident feel valued and special, bringing joy and optimism to their quality of life.
