Jennifer Brubaker the assistant executive director has been very persistent and cheerful. . She is always very helpful and very approachable. She goes above and beyond and is really supporting her building. I have seen her working in the dining room serving, helping all the residents with things they may need and even housekeeping. She has been a blessing to this building.

I met with Amanda earlier this month to get information about the facility. This location has a warm comforting feel to it as soon as you walk through the doors. The staff was very friendly and you can tell they are all very attentive to not only the residents needs but also to guests who come in for a visit. Amanda was great to talk to and provided me with answers to all the questions I had. I would invite everyone to come give this location a tour when searching for a retirement community for their loved ones.

I was pleased with the support, patience and care of the new Director. She is very enthusiastic with staff and speaks so well with the residents. I watched as she organized social activities, keeping everyone's attention engaged and directing staff on their roles. I noticed she had all their attention, with a smile. She really cares about people. Also, the building entrance, grounds, social room and cafeteria, all are very clean, warm, inviting and organized.

Great place for any retirees. Many different events and activities available for the residents and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. My parents love being part of the community, and are loved by the nuturing staff, especially the funny, outgoing, and loving executive director Jennifer. Our family became very frustrated with locating a home for our aunt. Not just a living situation but somewhere she felt like family and loved. Someone recommended American House East and the rest is history. They treat your family like their family.

The staff is wonderful and caring of the residents. They work hard. But their pay is not reflective of their hard work my aunt was in there for couple of years. She enjoyed her friends and the friendly staff. The staff deserve better pay.

I worked with Jade getting my father in law a place. Such a pleasure, ended up getting him something cheaper than expected for him. He loves it there so many activities (which he said he wasn't going to do) he goes to pretty much everything now. I am so happy that he is enjoying living there. Maybe he will gain some weight he could use a few pounds. Jade is the best can't thank her enough for all she did.

The facility is very centered around the residents having the best experience as possible. The American House and Advisacare staff really cares about the people there.

My sisters and I moved our mother into American House East II almost 2 years ago. She was very reluctant to go as most elderly are. She quickly made friends and realized that this is where she needed to be. She participated in activities like playing cards and bingo. Her favorite activity was going down to eat with her friends and raved all the time about how good the food was. When she didn't feel up to going down to the dining room her food was brought to her. The staff at American House are very friendly and attended to her needs. The staff at Advisacare became her second family. They looked in on her several times a day. They really seemed to care about her and offered her hugs when needed. This place took care of my aging and declining mother when we could not. I would not hesitate to have them take care of yours as well.

Being that this experience for my 93 year old mother-in-law was her first living in a senior residence it was very satisfying. From the first time we went on a tour everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcomed and at ease. My mother-in-law can not stop talking about all the experiences that she does during the course of the day. I know she would enjoy many more years there if we were not moving out of state. I would strongly recommend American House II to anyone looking for a home for their senior loved ones. It has been a great experience. Thank you to all she has crossed paths with.

I went in to inquire about care for my uncle... there's a lot of activity going on for the people living there... It was immaculate... And everyone I talk to it was informative and very courteous

I entered to AHII in August 2012. It was the best decision I have made. I met some of my friends here, I couldnt be happier! I joined the choir here, that was the second best thing I did. We meet with other American house residents and sing together in he choir. There are many daily choices of activities to do. There are a variety of daily meals. It is wonderful having a chapel here. I do not drive and I do not want to trouble others with driving me around. Having a corner store and a beauty salon in here also helps a lot. I feel good everyday.

I cant say enough good things about how my aged aunt was treated at American House East II in Roseville, MI. The staff there was particularly patient and supportive as my aunt settled in. They kept me informed when there were things I should be aware of, and during several medical crises they were understanding, emotionally supportive and especially kind to my aunt and to me, her caretaker. Darlene Beckman, the Executive Director was particularly helpful: she made herself available every single time I needed something and she was always kind and always patient ... with wise suggestions. This made a big difference during several emotionally demanding incidents.

My 94 year-old father moved into American House II (Roseville) May, 2019. We had toured several facilities and selected American House based on the location, helpful staff, nice room, activities, and the facility amenities. We were not disappointed. The staff got to know him personally and were caring and most helpful. We highly recommend it!

My mom loves it here! It was a hard decision when my mom decided to sell her home, my dad had passed away and she spent a lot of time alone. We were worried about how this would affect her health overtime. When we toured american house, my mom sat in on lunch and made a few new friends. She came for bingo one night and won! She decided to move to american house and is truly the happiest shes been in years.
