My mom is currently in this facility and I’m very thankful that she is here, the staff is very nice. The director Nirmal is an amazing person. You can tell he’s very caring and he does a fantastic job at that facility. Often times you can see him walking around talking to people. He will not hesitate to help you if you need something. He is very down to earth. There are so many great workers there that provide great care and comfort for my mom. I truly hope that the great nurses get recognition just to name a few -Jordan Bach Was Aid and now she has become a nurse and a fantastic one at that she goes above and beyond to look after my mom with dementia you can tell she cares about her job and wants to do a good job not only for my mom but all the residents, she is always pleasant and Will make time to aggress any concerns with family members all at while still being on top of things at the same time she’s a powerhouse of her own ! I need to also recognize another amazing Nurse - Sonja … she’s an army of one! I have seen her run circles she has quickwitted and a quick problem solver not to mention She will handle a whole room, feeding patients all by herself. Believe me this Facility is filled with more great nurses such as nurse BB, Diona, Stephanie, Mike, Major, Stacy, Nikki, and Brenda Just a name a few more even when they are not assigned to be my mom’s nurse they still look out for her when passing in the hallway often times they will ask her if she needs anything and how she’s doing and hug her, and they will compliment that her hair looks nice which will make her smile 🙂 or they will come running to the rescue if need be. I’d like to mention some of the Aids that deserve recognition also -they are some of the hardest working people I have seen in my life.-Nicole, Janelle, Brandon,Juanita, Kevin, (and Porsha -too bad she’s no longer there she was so sweet and always smiling ) not only do they run to the rescue to help pick my mom up if she falls or help her in the restroom when need be, but even when busy they Show compassion and provide an ear to listen to family concerns for something as minor as a lost remote control, or a constant refill on water.. and endless showers …these aids always come thru and give her what she needs which gives our family a sense of Relief that we know our mom is in good care. From the moment you walk in and you meet a lot of of the front ffice people such as Jon the nurse and the scheduler Dina, or even laundry personnel and kitchen staff everyone seems to have a smile on their face and is willing to go above and beyond to give not only your loved comfort but reassurance to our family once again that our mom is in the right place..even when dressed up Dina has with out any hesitation gloved up and quickly gone to take my mom to the bathroom and without a doubt, things like this, do not go unnoticed by family members. Instances like this help my mom stay clean safe and happy and that makes me happy. I am very thankful to have my mom there….even the volunteers and the PT and OT are all kind and caring, if I could give more, Stars, I certainly would. Thank you Mr Nirmal fur going an amazing job and Running a great facility with great staff member members. ( mentioned above ) Awsome job!

Beautiful place but can never speak to anyone about anything. Billing questions, staff, nothing. Everytime I call about something no one is available but someone will call back....which they never do. Very expensive and change for every thing. Meals brought to room are 5.00. Moving my mom out after 4 years because communication and cost.

I really appreciate the monthly family brunches at this nursing home—they’re such a thoughtful touch. The food is genuinely delicious, and the chef clearly puts care and creativity into each meal. It’s a warm, welcoming way to spend time with our loved ones, and it means a lot. Thank you to the staff and especially the chef for making these gatherings so special

Really happy with the Independent living facility for my grandparents, who moved in last August. They were very accommodating in adding a door between their two apartments, and the amenities are great. The food is really good, and the activities they offer are plenty and diverse. My grandfather has already begun a club there. I am glad they found this new home after a difficult goodbye to their previous home.

My dad recently stayed at Orchard Grove Rehabilitation Center, and I can't say enough positive things about the level of care he received from two standout team members, Erica and Brandon. Both Erica and Brandon went above and beyond, not just in providing excellent care, but in truly connecting with my dad. Their kindness, compassion, and attention to detail made all the difference in his stay. It was clear that they genuinely cared about his well-being, and that gave our family such peace of mind. Managing his diabetes and hygiene needs was no small task, but whenever Erica or Brandon were on duty, we knew he was in great hands. They were always attentive and proactive in keeping his sugar levels in check and making sure he was comfortable and clean. Their professionalism and personal touch made a world of difference in his recovery. We’re so grateful to Erica and Brandon for their dedication and heart. They truly exemplify what compassionate healthcare looks like.

my husband was in rehab for three weeks. he came in with infected legs and unable to stand or walk. his legs healed but very little progress with physical therapy. he was sent home in a wheelchair and still unable to stand up. i have been healing from a auto accident and had to learn to walk again. i still attend pt 3 times a week so i can help my husband. the therapist were good and the nursing staff were good. but he was sent home too soon. this has caused a hardship for him and me. the only thing that saves us is that my insurance provided rails and a ramp. to get in the house. i think better evaluation would help your clients.

My grandma takes her seniors from the Armada Senior Center to the independent living center for tours and lunch-ins. The activity director is so fun and helpful I always hear nothing but good things about him!! :)))

Orchard Grove had a really nice dinner for Valentine’s Day that was prepared by the residents to share with their families. It was sweet to see the residents helping to prepare the meal. I have an enjoyable meal with my father. The facility was well decorated for the event. The staff was helpful and friendly. Good times like these need repeated. Thanks!

The staff at Orchard Grove is courteous and professional and take pride in taking care of their residents and providing excellent care. Also, management is very caring and always available to address any concerns if they arise. I strongly recommend Orchard Grove for any rehab or long term care needs.

To be a friend of someone here is pure heartache when I was able to visit the people were friendly and the place was clean then the pandemic came. I continued to send cards and letters to my precious friend Christmas card Easter card etc. For her birthday I sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers. When I called to see if she received the flowers the lady who works for there said I saw them in her room their nice. A little while later I called again to see about visiting from outside. A second lady explained I could visit thru the window. She asked me my friends name again and told me she wasn't there. Imagine my surprise I called my friends relative who has my phone number. Imagine my further surprise when I found out she had been taken to her relatives home but was now deceased. I feel let down by the relative who insisted she called me. No she did not I have a b.s. and an m.b.a. from u. Of. D. And a builders license if someone told me my dear friend was deceased I would have remembered. I also feel totally let down by orchard Grove. It would have been so simple to stamp the mail return to sender. It also would be good to have a roster of names before accepting bouquets for someone no longer there. Very very poor organization or lack thereof. I sent two. Emails and one letter before I posted this no one replied. My friend is gone and I found out about it eight months later. All of my cards and letters in the trash. Very very saf

Orchard Grove is a very clean facility. Most of the staff is excellent and friendly. However the doctor they chose for my 84 yr. old mother was on her way to possibly ending her life. She was severely over-medicated. She slept on average 22 hours a day and when we were able to intervene she was hallucinating. Once they stopped giving her so much medication she returned to her wonderful normal self. I don't like giving negative reviews on anything...this was my mother's life though.
