So blessed that Angelicas Place has been taking care of my mom for 4 years now. The owners have held true that there is no increases and we have been able to budget out for mom. Carrie has been a Godsend as has the staff. They are usually full there but if you can get a room do not hesitate. Great care, Great pricing!!!

I cannot say enough about this cute and cozy place for my grandmother. She has been there for a year and a half and is loved and cared there by the exceptional staff . They have no turnover in staff and the owners truly care about all there residents health and well being. My grandmother has dementia and needs assistance with her transfers as well as personal hygiene and they have done a great job. If you want to trust and believe in a care facility for your loved one, this place is it!!!

I have been doing placement into Senior Living Communities for over 8 years. Every community has its own culture. I can assure you that the owners of Angelicas Place genuinely care about every resident and treat them like family! They lead by example, are very compassionate people and have integrity in all they do. Over the years, I have placed many residents to Angelicas and all my families love the care their loved one is receiving. I would Highly recommend Angelicas Place if you are looking for a caring, nurturing and loving environment for your loved one!

I work here currently and I am in nursing school. Every place has its ups and downs, but I have seen skilled nursing facilities, and the care that people are going to get at a skilled nursing facility is going to really disappoint you if you think that your loved one is going to receive one on one care or the kind of care you expect them to receive. I believe that we take adequate care of the residents at Angelicas Place. There are about 20 residents currently, and we are always staffed with at least three people. The current state regulations actually only require us to have 2 staff there, so technically, the owners do not have to have that third person per state regulations on the shift. Also, people complaining about drugging their loved one. We strictly follow physicians orders, so if you are concerned that your loved one is being drugged, then maybe you should consult their physician for a change in their medication regimen. That is not the job of the owner or the staff making 15 dollars an hour. Our job is to strictly follow a providers order as per state regulations. If staff members feel they have somehow injured or hurt their backs, there are many devices that are available to use for the safety of ourselves and the residents, like gait belts, and we have had many classes on the use of proper body mechanics. Before complaining about hurting your back, you should educate yourself on the use of proper body mechanics and the proper use of equipment that is readily available to us in the front office. The owners have also purchased mechanical lifts for employees who feel they need to use them. Every resident is thoroughly screened and assessed by skilled professionals BEFORE being cleared to move in. Every resident that moves in has been assessed properly and it has been found by skilled professionals who are educated in the field that the resident can be adequately cared for at the facility. Every place has pros and cons. Anywhere you go in the healthcare field, you are going to see the same issues. Staffing is an issue everywhere you go in the healthcare field, but we do the best we can on a daily basis. I have known the owners for a long time, and I can assure you that they do everything in their power to ensure that your family members have a pleasant experience. The food is also home cooked daily and I have witnessed it being prepared fresh. I do not see a problem with the way the food is prepared, and I would feed the food to my grandmother or mother. I take offense to the negative reviews when I feel I go above and beyond for the residents here, and I also feel the owner doesnt deserve this type of slander. Thank you and have a great day

Angelicas is a great place! I am currently a employee here and love my residents! My co workers and I clean the building every single shift the people complaining on these reviews are people who got fired or couldnt do everything that they wanted. All staff here love each resident like family, each resident show so much love to each employee, the cooks actually make great food and all is home made! Person below is a old employee and her boyfriend who has never stepped foot in building left a review. Angelicas is a great place to have your loved one I treat each resident like theyre are apart of my family. We transfer and help each resident to there needs we provide them with care and love each day. The owner of Angelicas shows so much love to each resident and they all love them. I would recommend sending your loved one here even if I was not a employee. Our building is very well taken care of decorated each holiday and season we do many activities with our residents you can even see on our facebook page.

My Mom has been living at Angelicas Place for almost two years. She is taken care of very well. The owners are very nice, compassionate and friendly. I frequent there quite a bit and its always a nice atmosphere. In my opinion the Caregivers have a big responsibility. They have to make sure every resident gets the most careful attention. At Angelicas its displayed over 100%. After all, they are with our love ones everyday. When my Mom is in her fiesty mood or just forgets that I am there, I amuse myself with the other residents. I also appreciate how I am still able to take some of the meals that my Mom still eats. I also let the Chefs know what I am bringing...that way it wont interfere with what he, she has prepared. The Caregivers are also trained in dealing with Dementia, Alzheimer, etc. That serves as comfort to know that your loved one is in a good place too. There is always something going on for the residents to do. They have crafts, entertainment and church folks that come in. Mom is well loved by the staff and for that I am so grateful. I always tell the staff how I appreciate them for looking after her and the others. If you ever have a time where you have to make a decision for your loved one, please consider Angelicas Place, you will not be disappointed!

I have been visiting Angelica:s Place for over a year. My friends mother is a resident there. Angelicas Place is very clean, and the environment is so nice and the staff provides every residents their utmost attention. I recently had the opportunity to attend the residents Christmas Party. The outside was nicely decorated. The room where the party took place, was festive. There was an entertainer, music, beverages and food. The residents, their family and friends had a grand time. If you have a loved one who you want to get the best care, take them to Angelicas Place.

Angelicas Place is a nice, cozy house for the elderly. The house is filled with excellent care staff who are very involved in their residents lives. There are outside entertainment groups who come sing, and play games with the residents. Also, they have an occupational therapist on site, 5 days a week, and an on-call nurse 24, 7. It is so comforting to know that Angelicas Place takes such good care of their family.

Angelicas Place is a lovely home away from home. Residents participate in morning exercises and afternoon activities such as crafts, ice cream socials, bingo (with prizes), and movie & popcorn time. The chefs carefully prepare and present nutritious meals that meet each residents dietary needs. Staff members are trained on dementia care strategies and techniques, with a primary focus on resident safety. Residents are well cared for, as evidenced by many loved ones stopping in to report how pleased they with the care provided to their parent, grandparent, family member, friend.
