Pomeroy Independent Living, Rochester Hills is a wonderful place to live and work. Our employees make sure that the residents are happy! Activity department has many activities for residents to do. I hear residents singing, playing bingo or see residents doing arts & crafts just to name a few. There are great options on the menu. When speaking with the residents, they tell me the food is great! Housekeeping department does a great job keeping the building clean. Come in for a tour of our building and see for yourself. Cathy Wosik

The change in the new management and Activities has raised the residents attendance and involvement in events offered. Employees address residents by their name which makes an overall friendly atmosphere to be surrounded in.

I currently work here in Assisted Living, and have for about 3 months. I actually enjoy being here. I love my coworkers and the management team. The building itself is clean, open, and pleasant. The best thing is the residents themselves. They have brought so much joy and meaning to my life. I go home feeling like I actually positively impacted someones life.

I have worked at a few different facilities and Pomeroy Assisted is the best facility Ive experienced. It is an honor being apart of Pomeroys family. I absolutely love coming to work. Everyday, I walk into a nice and clean environment filled with beautiful smiles and high spirits. The staff here are phenomenal with the residents and with one another. Together, we go the extra mile to ensure the safety and happiness of our residents. Each day the residents are served great food and they are offered many different fun activities to do, in which they enjoy. Our residents are top priority. We love, respect, and admire each and every one of them. The best way I can describe Pomeroy is a home away from home. If I had to choose a place for my loved one I would definitely choose Pomeroy.

Pomeroy Assisted Living rocks! I love all of the Residents, Staff, and Management. I look forward to coming in everyday; when Im not here Im thinking about the residents. I have gained lots of experience here. I would recommend that you give them a shot. My advice, be compassionate in everything you do; You will fall in love with the Pomeroy family as I did. Upper management has an amazing vision on how to set them apart and raise the standards for Senior care. I was truly impressed which is hard to do. Unfortunately, the community level ED isnt motivated to be open enough to learn from them which has a negative effect on the outcomes at this community. This fact saddens my heart but hopefully, something will trickle down from the top and the community will one day be the best it can be.

Ive visited Pomeroy Living Assisted Living Rochester several times over the past few months and Ive been very impressed. Last year the building was bought by Pomeroy and you can really tell the new owners have taken it to the next level. The building is gorgeous, always spotless and the folks who live there seem very happy and social. As someone who has seen a lot of assisted and independent living facilities in my line of work, I can honestly say that if my folks need AL, IL this would be the first place Id bring them to tour.
