Welcome Home is hands down the best decision I made after caring for my father for over 12 years myself. When I thought there was no hope Kim, Brooke & Sheila alongside the rest of their staff not only showed me the light, but went above and beyond the expectations and dreams I had for father! From their care and compassion for their residents to the support, guidance and reassurance to not only myself but the rest of my family I not only had a team to help provide the best possible experience and care for my dad, but an extension of my family I wished I would have had for years! If you are looking for care for your loved one and have not checked out this place you are missing out! Everything from the intake process to the entire course of of my father's stay and his last days was an experience I will forever hold in my heart and never forget all those involved in his care from Welcome Home and their team of Angels! Thank you Kim, Brooke, Sheila, Shelby from hospice & all the rest of the amazing team from the Love house at Welcome Home soo much for becoming a part of our family and making sure my dad had the BEST before he left us!

The most fabulous, caring and loving place for my dad to be in his final days. Kim and her staff were so supportive. They went above-and-beyond in my dad's care and even in caring for me as I stayed with him in his final days. They helped with so many services, including bringing in hospice, which brought peace of mind during a very difficult time.

Wonderful place, my father was diagnosed with vascular dementia and the hospital advised a nursing home. Welcome Home was willing to take my father and when he caused them some problems due to the mental changes, he was going through they helped me get him the help he needed to transition the change. Would use Welcome Home again.

We moved our grandma/mom to Welcome Home at the beginning of November as her dementia progressed. The entire staff in her Love house is amazing with the care they provide to her. The compassion they have not only shown her, but us as well, helped ease the difficult decision to move her to assisted living. We love the different activities they do, home cooked meals together and the 'extra' events they plan. The Welcome Home name is so fitting as it does feel like home with staff and residents who have already become like extended family. Being able to visit and see her smile is a blessing!

I started with this company in October of 2018 and from the moment I walked into the door for my interview with Heather and Brooke I felt welcomed. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and Heather and Brooke were very polite and professional. My 1st day of training Heather was amazing. She took the time to properly train me with each residents plan of care and answered all the questions I may have asked. I don't feel like just an employee of WHAL, I feel like family. I will continue to grow with this amazing company and see where this journey takes me.

From a family that has had our father and aunt both at Welcome Home, we had a very comforting experience. The atmosphere of being in a smaller home environment is calming. With delicious home cooked meals around the pleasant dinner table, special days such as birthdays, holidays, they make each and every resident feel so important. The home is kept very clean and cozy. The love and care they give to each resident is amazing, they treat each one as is their own family. I feel bad I haven't written a review before now. My mom was the first resident who moved into one of the two new homes on the campus almost two years ago. They were still adding the finishing touches. It was very hard to have to put my mom into assisted living. She loved her apartment and friends. A friend of mine, who oversees Bingo every other week for the residents recommended Welcome Home. She told me the staff she encountered while she was there were so nice. She actually talked to my mom about it and thought she would like it there. So we made an appointment and weren't disappointed. Kim met with me, my husband, and my mom in the new home called Welcome Home Sunshine. Name is very appropriate. The home is beautifully decorated with golds and browns and beautiful furniture. A large fireplace which opens up to the dining room and the living area adds to the homey feeling. Each resident room was beautiful and had a gift bag to welcome them to their new home. Mom had some medical issues when she first moved in. I remember one night Kim, the owner slept on the couch to make sure she could hear her if she had any problems. From the beginning the staff has been amazing. Mom loves the girls that work there. She's always has positive things to say about them. Jessica who is the home manager goes above and beyond and cares for each resident as if they are family. At Christmas she went all out decorating the home and it was so festive. As for me, my husband became ill and sometimes it's hard for me to get out there to see her. I know the staff is there for her and makes sure all her needs are met. They are on it if she doesn't feel good and lets me know what is going on. I have seen the staff go above and beyond to make sure residents and family needs are met. My mother in law is also is the same building. I have had many discussions with Kim, the owner, and her compassion and understanding for our situation is endearing. I am just getting to know Kim's daughter, Brooke. As the saying goes, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Thanks Kim and Brooke and all the staff involved with my mothers for bringing us peace knowing you are there for them.

Welcome Home Assisted Living is just that! It's warm, loving, and welcoming. Our brand is to keep the houses homey and small, so that our residents feel like they are right at home. I love the smallness of the homes so I can give 1 on 1 care. Our owners (Kimberly and Brooke Bowen) are very supportive, encouraging, and make us employees feel like we are family. Like we matter. Like we have a voice and a say. I had a family crisis and Kim and Brooke gave me as much time as I needed. My former employer told me if I didn't come in, I was fired so I had to quit. When I started with Welcome Home my personal life was in shambles. The support, guidance and understanding I received from the owners, I'll never forget. Kimberly Bowen teaches us God is first, then ourselves, then our personal family then our Welcome Home Family. I love our core values and the culture that's been taught. Kim has high expectations for all of us and I've learn to grow and rise. I really appreciate working here and I'm grateful for the understanding. I absolutely love spoiling my residents!
