Looking for a place for my mother, based on these reviews, I would not consider this location.

Mom transitioned from independent to assisted to memory care living in 9 months. She entered memory care after an extended hospital stay that left her physically weak, with decreased cognitive ability, and a diminished outlook on life. Within two months Mom was a different person thanks to the memory care staff. She was much stronger and able to stand on her own; her cognitive function improved; and she returned to her independent, spunky personality - their creative group activities make a world of difference for her. Her overall health improved drastically: her diabetes is more easily managed; her weight is appropriately aligned; and she takes fewer medicines. But it is her outlook on life where they've had the greatest impact - their care and positive environment has led to her living a happy life every day. For us, the greatest impact of the care they provide is our "peace of mind." We are grateful and know that Mom is in the best place she can be!

My brother is in need of a better care facility than he's currently in, so last month Melissa (Community Specialist) gave us a tour of StoryPoint Novi. The building and grounds are absolutely beautiful, but we were most impressed by the level of care StoryPoint offers, especially for Parkinson's patients like my brother. It is way beyond what is offered at other places we visited, and at a very affordable price. The individual apartments have everything we were looking for - spacious and clean with private bathrooms and comfortable beds. They even include in-room laundry service! There are lovely outdoor spaces for both assisted living and memory care residents, as well as fun field trips and in-house activities. We were treated to a delicious lunch served restaurant style in one of StoryPoint's several dining rooms. Melissa was welcoming, friendly, and very respectful of my brother's slower speech. She made us all want to be a part of her wonderful community. We are extremely disappointed that my brother will not be able to move to StoryPoint because of a family disagreement. This felt like the perfect place for him. Highly recommended!

This facility is absolutely beautiful. Every time I stop in, the residents seem so happy, always engaging in conversation with me. I don't think there has ever been a time that I visited when something special wasn't going on, music, dancing, singing……always something. The caregivers are wonderful, the way they interact with the residents is so touching. The nurse, Shawndra, really cares about her residents and makes sure they have the best care. The entire staff go above and beyond for the residents. I highly recommend Storypoint of Novi!

System is always up, WiFi is always available, we have weekly tech meetings with tech experts who help us,I love Spectrum cable, much better than other cable system like Xfinity, etc, power outages are rare, loss of DTE power hasn't hurt us very long, we have good backup and recovery. Lefty

I have been a resident for a year and a half. The food is good. My two bedroom apartment is very nice. I have had family parties in the common lounges. Seems like everybody knows my name.

I was very impressed with the kind, caring and very compassionate staff at Story Point of Novi. The Executive Director, Michael Hamid, is a "hands on" Director. He is often seen mingling with the residents and seems to know many residents by name. The environment is cheerful, friendly, clean and very lively. The residents are welcoming and friendly. Story Point offers too many amenities to name. If your loved one enjoys an upbeat environment this is the place to be. My mom was not well enough to enjoy all this place had to offer so we had to move her. But I am terribly disappointed it didn't work out for her as this place is lovely.

I hope the ownership can clean up this "community ". My mother fell after only being there 2 weeks in independent living and fractured her neck. She was not found for 2 whole days. She was only found laying on the living room floor after I called and insisted they go check on her. No one from the Executive team reached out to inquire about her well being. So much for the sales member who assured us that all members of the community whether assisted or independent are checked up on regularly. This is nothing but a big business and if you are looking for assurance of your loved ones well being this is not the place to look to. In the time my mother was in the hospital and even before her apartment had never been cleaned. Nothing that was promised was fulfilled. A lot of money for very little return. This glitzy package hides many flaws.

I don't know who's in charge of the Tuesday night concert series, but they're doing a Good Job! Probably deserve a pay raise! That being said, the performer last night, I believe his name is Jonathan Gerry (feel free to correct me) was AWESOME! Several of us got together at the end & yelled "Come Back" So if you all read this, I hope you make him a regular!

I wasn't crazy about your sign in procedure, but the facility is very nice and the resident accommodations are good. We had lunch and it was also good, but it took a long time to get food. I understand you are short staffed. My friend seems happy enough.

We have had an excellent experience here besides the move-in process (unit wasn't ready by move-in date), and the extra activities for enrichment are absolutely amazing! I recommend adding an emergency alarm/cord of some kind inside the stairwells in case of accidents, and extending pub hours! I am very happy my family calls Anthology home.

A beautiful facility that offers many opportunities for activities and outings. Meals are served at any time between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. You can chose the meal of the day or something else off of the menu. You can order additional or alternative food items if desired Residents are friendly and welcome new comers. All levels of care are provided from Independent living to assisted living to memory care. The costs are a bit steep depending on the amount of services needed, which are charged a-la-carte. Staff are friendly and responsive. There is a beauty salon, library, gym and movie theatre on site. Definately a place to consider!

The friend I visited appears to be well looked after. When I arrived she was finishing PT. The therapist walked her back to her room. An hour later someone came to pick her up. All the employees I encountered were very pleasant and polite. My friend is happy with her care.

Our once Beautiful and Special senior living facility has deteriorated in the past year. Many residents that I talk to everyday are not happy. The weekly room housekeeping that was promised to me when I first toured the facility is not happening. My apartment has not been cleaned in a month. I keep it clean and sparkling myself. We are told to set our trash out everyday in the hallway and it will be picked up twice a day. That’s not happening. The 3rd floor hallway and meeting room’s in the Independent Living facility are very cold. I joke that “We residents can hang a side of beef in the hallway and it will never spoil”. These issues must be addressed and fixed now! I want to once again be an “Ambassador for Anthology Of Novi Senior Living Facility…however these issues need to be fixed and NOT just talked about.

Management staff is in complete and utter chaos! Consistently under crisis management, rooms can and will go 30 days without being cleaned. Restrooms are nasty, elevators are NEVER cleaned! Community has spiraled downward since Grand Opening!

I am so happy we convinced mom to move from her home to Anthology. It was the best decision. People are amazing and the place is so welcoming. Mom has been there two weeks and already it feels like home to her.

I can't speak highly enough of this community and the people who manage it. My mother toured in January and again in May. The staff treated her and us professionally. The residents went out of the their way to talk to my mother during her tour, expressing their hope she might move in. We signed a lease and I moved my mothers things into her one bedroom apartment. The cleaning staff said hello and talked with me about the cleaning schedule. The nursing staff introduced themselves and said they were looking forward to mom moving in. Residents even talked with my friends who helped move mom's things, telling them what a great place it was to love. Mom was due to move in on a Tuesday but sadly she died suddenly the day before. When I called to tell the staff what had happened I was met with extraordinary kindness. They tore up the checks we had written them. They told us we could move mom's things out when we were ready. From the sales staff to the front desk to the waiter who served me lunch the day I moved my mothers things out of Anthology I experienced nothing but professionalism and kindness in our time of grief. My father and grandmother were in assisted living at other facilities before they passed- neither facility was as professional, clean or kind. I can't speak highly enough of Anthology. I would feel comfortably entrusting any family member into the care of the staff and community here.
