My aunt is a very social person and was very independent! Addington Place offers many social opportunities and my aunt always says "if I need to be somewhere-this is the place to be" Food is also amazing! Staff is very nice and personable! Great location as well! Beautiful grounds!

My mother is doing very well at Addington. She's adjusted to Addington in a short period of time. The staff is very caring and supportive. Overall, the right place for her. She will turn 105 in November.

The staff at Addington Place is compassionate and always treated my mom with respect. They helped guide us through the stages of Alzheimer's and took time to answer our questions. The nursing staff was amazing. I totally recommend Addington Place.

My Mother was at Addington Place for just under two months. In that time my sister and I got to know the staff and residents very well. The staff were so compassionate and helpful. They really helped guide us as to what we should be doing and how we should be doing it which was very helpful. They really listened to our concerns and let us make our own decisions as to how should be taken care of. That was really assuring for us. They have excellent food, great activities and really interact with the residents. They were great from start to finish. Shout out to everyone at Adding

The staff is great, especially considering limited staff at times. They provide great care with the resources available. Our family lived close to the facility and could visit Grandma a few times/week. She lived on the Carrington wing. Being present sometimes makes a huge difference with the care your family member receive. However, some residents didn't have family who visited often or at all, and the staff was just as attentive to those residents.

My mom moved to Addington Place November 2021. Before she moved in the management staff was very kind and helpful and kept reminding me that it will take about 6 weeks for adjustment - on mom’s part and on the staffs’ part. This was very true. I urge anyone moving a loved one into memory care - wait a full 6-8 weeks before making a judgment. Those first few months were very hard, but mostly for me 🙂 Mom was happy, comfortable, and the staff have gotten to know her and her needs very well. I’m very happy with mom’s care and would recommend Addington Place to everyone.

I came to see my mom today on her birthday. They had so much makeup on her she looked like a clown. There is a stench from the common room into the hallways. Very concerned about what is happening. My moms bathroom toilet had poop in it that we couldn’t flush. Their answer is they are having sewer issues. My mom’s wheelchair has been missing for more than 4 months and no one can tell me where it is. I get a phone call that she has a bruise and that they were having the nurse come in and that someone would follow up with me. No one does. It’s time to move my mom. We get all this for $5700/month. Unacceptable.

My Aunt has been a resident here for over a year and we have been happy with the care. They offer activities and the staff is attentive. The community is lovely and the management and caregivers are very caring and I recommend to anyone to consider this for their loved ones who suffer from dementia as a safe and secure and caring environment.

My husband was at Addington Place for 17 months. From day one, the staff consistently worked to individualize his care and accommodate for his changing needs. I always felt that we were a team working together to provide him with the best care during a difficult time. The entire staff was always friendly and respectful. Caregivers were exceptional, always going above and beyond what was required. Facilities were clean, meals-snacks well-prepared and modified as needed, activities interesting and fun, and ongoing staff education was impressive. I highly recommend Addington Place for your loved ones.

My work experience at Addington Place has been nothing short of amazing and refreshing. Management are constantly making improvements when it comes to staffing and patient centered care. The team at Addington Place are like family and we love our residents like theyre our own. From our wonderful ED, Sherri who stays over constantly to make sure residents and families needs are met and that our building as a whole is taken care of, to our wonderful new DON Kim who are making sure policies are implemented amongst other medical needs are met. All of the staff show up and advocate for the residents in this facility. There is always room for improvement in any situation and we are taking ALL the correct steps and we are moving forward. Please come out and tour our facility, come meet with us! We would love for your loved one to be an addition to our family like -setting! Addington STRONG!

Addington Place in Northville, MI is an excellent facility, with a loving and caring staff, to spend you senior years. I have visited Addington Place numerous times and am always impressed by the beautiful building, grounds and interior and exterior of the facility. I am greeted at the door by courteous, polite staff and feel that the minute I walk through the door, I am at peace. It is lunch Jr walking into my Grandmothers house and feel the love all around. Thank you Addington Place for knowing what needs to be done for each resident and caring for them as if they are your own grandparents. There are residents often sitting on the porch enjoying the fresh air and they are excited to. See anyone that comes to visit. My mother-in-law spent 5 months at Addington when she was unable to care for herself properly at her Independent Living apartment. The staff at Addington helped her get back on her medications, eat correctly, and took care of her every day needs. This quickly enabled her to sleep thru the night and eliminated her daily medical challenges that she was experiencing in her prior living situation. The overwhelming personal care and attention completely stabilized her to a point where we were able to then move her out to an Assisted Living environment, in essence, graduated from Memory Care. My wife and I could not be happier with the attentive and caring staff at Addington and helping my mother-in-law in her journey with dementia.

I was looking for a place that was clean, not fancy.....cared, not full of words.....had caregivers.... that did just that. I also wanted quality food....Interesting activities. The Doctors and nurses are better than the drs I used outside. Most import to me was Fair value for that quality care. I found it at Addington. My special wife is in good hands...Thank you Lord. They are not perfect, but, then, no one is.

Best place in the world for Dementia (memory care) patients! Mom has been a resident there for almost 2 years. The care and activities help keep her mind alive. The administration, staff and aides are always extremely helpful and want only the best for my Mother and for our family! So glad we found Addington Place for her.

A social worker friend of ours gave Addington high reviews after a visit. She liked that residents are clean and neatly dressed, meals are well prepared and efforts are made to ensure that everyone eats, and there was a lot of personal attention and activities. Attendants make an effort to know residents and call them by name and speak with them with respect. There are some minor irritations that come with communal living, but overall things are well. I regret the circumstances that placed Kathy in assisted living, but I think she is in good hands.
