The atmosphere at Brookdale Monroe allows our Mom to be herself in a comfortable environment where she is encouraged to be independent. The genuine compassion the staff show and safety provided gives our family peace of mind.

My grandpa spent his last 6 months of life here. When he came to live there it was under difficult circumstances and his dementia made him very argumentative. They handled it with grace, and he eventually became very comfortable and pleased being there. Although he wouldn’t remember names he’d smile when certain staff came in and would joke with them. He’d constantly tell us “they take good care of me” and that they’d bring him anything he wants . During his final week there were staff who sang to him and checked on him and us daily. The staff definitely work hard and have a lot on their plates but their personalities make it all okay! Thank you for making him comfortable and happy for the end of his life!

The staff at Brookdale Monroe has been taking very good care of my wife for over a year. Even though 2020 was a difficult year dealing with Covid they handled it with professionalism.

It is truly a wonderful place to live. All the staff are very good, with the residents. Lots of things going on, daily. Baseball games, the fair, and lunch out a couple times a month. Residents get the best care.

This is the best place in Monroe to care for your loved ones. My mom lives here and loves it!!!! There are only 19 residents, so each person gets a lot of individual attention. The workers know each resident thoroughly. They treat my mom like I would. My mom always talks about how nice the workers are. It feels like a home.

We have the BEST caregivers and staff. Thanks to all who stayed over, came in early or days off for our power outage. We are blessed!
