I have watched family members go to a few different nursing homes for rehab and for long term assistance. I have been so impressed with all of the staff at Fountainview. They always take the time to listen to my dad to make him feel important and like he matters. It warms my hear that they truly do care and it's not a burden to care for him. I highly recommend anyone looking for a rehab facility to put this place on the very top of their list

On September 5th I had hip replacement surgery. After 2 days in the hospital I was sent to Fountain View Rehab. Everyone was so thoughtful and caring. The therapy team was wonderful. The facility was very nice. I'm rating 5 star for the care. The only thing the food was fair but I did not expect home cooking. Definitely would go here again if needed.

Fountainview Rehab facility is clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly, professional and attentive. Therapy was amazing and helped me walk again. Very encouraging therapists. Lots of daily activities if you choose to participate and an ICE CREAM PARLOR!

I went to fountain view of Monroe for an Easter egg hunt a few months ago. Facility is very clean, I was so surprised by how clean it was and how well maintained it was. Residents are well cared for and very happy. I would recommend this facility to anyone that is in need of rehab or a nursing facility. It's nothing like what you would think a nursing facility is like. Staff is very friendly.

I was at Fountain View of Monroe after a major surgery. The care I received was fantastic, everyone is professional, caring, and knowledgeable. There physical therapy area and therapists where kind and very helpful. I would go back to Fountain View of Monroe, again if needed. Love the staff, they really care.

My father was admitted in there, he came out worse with ambulatory and balance and stability. The PT only worked with him 30 minutes a day. And then the PT took away his walker and put him in a wheelchair which caused him to have difficulty walking upon release. I don't know who ordered for him to have his walker taken away, however it was uncalled for.

This review is for my Dad (Leon), who came here to Fountain View for rehabilitation and care after taking a hard fall at home. I'd like to start off with praise for the entire staff. From the moment you enter the facility, you are greeted with smiles and always a positive attitude. And that is from nurses, the physical therapist, social activities personnel, housekeeping, everyone. This staff is very professional, yet very caring about the individual. They strive to get my Dad smiling every day The nutritionist worked with Dad and I to find out what he likes and don't like, and still proving him a appetizing meal. I'm thinking he is gaining weight, even with all the physical activity. The physical therapist work with Dad in both group settings as well as one on one, and he has made good progress in his journey to walk on his own again. And his nurses have been angels working with Dad each and every day. They spend time getting to know him, getting him to smile, taking him down for bingo and other activities. I have so many other positive remarks concerning Fountain View and their staff. Take the time to visit them yourself and meet the staff here. You won't be disappointed.

I'm sorry I have to give only 4 stars! The nurses, aids, activities and housekeepers are wonderful! My sister is deaf and the staff is learning sign language so they can communicate easier and this makes her feel so much better! They also use Skype and video calls with an interpreter which is an amazing tool! My sister has felt isolated for most of her life. Here she is better understood and can laugh, talk and tease! It really brightens my life to see her smile and tell me about her friends here! Unfortunately I have to say that the 1 thing I am continually hearing is how bad the food is! A switch from SYSCO to U S FOODS was a bad mistake! Their food is better in the garbage can! Cold, greasy, bad flavor! There is nothing good to say about this quality. My sisters take KFC to her or take her out to KFC so she will eat well. I really wish this facility would switch back to SYSCO!
