I moved to Parkside in September'23 to a one bedroom from an "independent living" facility where I was very unhappy. Parkside offered just what I wanted and needed-safety, a clean fresh apartment, with all the amenities I was looking for, plus neighbors who I could interact with and who are friendly. There are lots of activities led by Jill, our tireless Activities Director, who drives the bus that takes us shopping and offsite to outings, lunches, etc. Staff Dave, Brent, Gabby, Brittany and Pat are attentive to maintenance needs and other requests. I recently switched from a one bedroom to a two bedroom ( because as an artist I really needed a room just for my "art stuff") and staff were extremely supportive in helping me make that transition a smooth one. I highly recommend Parkside to Seniors looking for an affordable and pleasant place to live.

I've been living here almost 8 years. I live in a beautiful setting in the back of the building. I can see Pickleball and a park. It's quiet and clean. I have no problems and I love living here. The other residents are so nice and have become like family!

My husband and I have been at Parkside of Livonia for 7 years. We are very happy here. We like our apartment very much. We also enjoy going on the different outings that they have. If you have any problems the staff is always willing to help you out.

I moved to Parkside 2 months ago and have been delighted by the sense of community that the management and residents have created here. Our activities director, Jill, goes out of her way to cheerfully provide opportunities that help to connect our residents whether it's just going grocery shopping together, going out to lunch at nearby restaurants, or arranging for trips to the Art Museum or other cultural activities. I've also been so pleased at how responsive the management has been to questions and concerns that residents have presented. I know that I feel more secure knowing the response I will receive if I bring a request to them. In only 2 months, I feel very much at home here.

I have been a resident for three years. feel safe and enjoyed getting to know my neighbors. There are many activities you can participate in if you like. I rode the bus that take you to nearby. Shopping places for the first time. I was satisfied with the experience. My work orders have been completed in s timely manner. I don't plan to move.

My mom and I have have been here for 16 years. My mom is comfortable in this community. Mom has friends. She enjoys bingo, adult coloring. She also enjoys game night. Maintenance is great as well. We have had a great stay all these years. No complaints ‚

I was recently at Parkside for a vaccine clinic, and it was such a nice experience. The facility was very clean, and the residents were so happy and friendly. The staff was very caring, friendly and helpful. It's always a pleasure visiting!

So she is the author of the statement that follows. “This is my first experience living in an independent residence, I moved here, April 1 2021, and so far so good. I’ve met a few new friends, that I’ve enjoyed walking with and putting puzzles together with and just sitting g and talking with the residents in the beautiful common area. This place is a joke. Do not let your loved ones pay to live in this over-priced dump with slum landlords. I promise you, you will regret it. This place is under new ownership who are very cheap and absolutely will NOT pay to have anything fixed or replaced. They will blame it on the tenant and make the tenant pay, or they will evict them. The maintenance supervisor DAVE likes to call the tenants name and bad mouth them to other tenants. If possible, try to talk to some of the tenants 1st. This place is horrible; they do not care about the tenants at all.

Parkside sits on a lovely well kept property on an otherwise residential street in Livonia. The buildings are well kept, exceptionally clean and I feel very safe here. The apartments with a balcony, which I have, make a special environment with beautiful vista's of sunset.

Lived here for almost 10 years. It has its positives and negatives. The shopping in the area is amazing, everything is nearby. The grounds are nice with a long path around both buildings. The apartment size, for a one bedroom was adequate. The parking more than sufficient. Oh, I must say there are loads of Parks nearby. The Fire Department is tremendously quick to be there for an emergency. Livonia is a very safe community. Oh, the bathroom is Huge, it has grab bars in the shower. I have been through 10 different managers, some good, some bad. Three different owners. Once they raised our rent $150.00 and half the people left. I have never lived in a home with more dust than this. Since there is no central air system I can't figure out where it comes from. My Buulding was built in the 80''s, saw the initial drawings with the date.. My patio door had no seals left and every winter I had to seal the patio door. They made fun of me when I asked them to replace the door. I found the place home. Now I live in a larger apartment,with a washer and dryer, my own internal storage and a dishwasher. Double pane door and a wonderful carpet with great padding. My own private door, and not everyone knowing my business. I am lucky, I am still healthy, but I found people living at my new place who are not. So it has its positives and negatives like anything in life.
