Angel was wonderful to work with. Very helpful in explaining every aspect of care. Highly recommend talking to Angel if you have any reservations. After speaking with Angel I left there knowing that I was making the right choice for my family.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would like to start with is the building is absolutely horrible, there’s mold growing in the building specifically in room #4 that was being used as a storage room, the carpet is disgusting, there’s one resident who’s flooded her room MULTIPLE times and it has leaked into the hallways and they have yet to replace it. There is 2 laundry rooms with 2 washers and dryers each but they both only have 1 washer and dryer in each there’s been countless times we’ve requested for them to be fixed and nothing happens. Management is too worried about making the building look decent but that’s like putting lipstick on a dumpster. The beginning of this year the heat went out and was out for almost a month, in the summer time the air doesn’t work so everyone’s miserable and it’s hard to work. When it rains too hard the dining room floods like the building is sinking in the back, the residents pay so much money to live there and the car is [language removed], the food for the most part is gross and cold which is one of the biggest complaints of almost all the residents. This place is a revolving door, they can barely keep staff there and if they do they suck or shouldn’t be in the caregiving field. They’ve been bought out multiple times and were on the verge of losing their company again, that should speak volumes. The last company that was there sucked just as much as this one, they haven’t been up to code in a few years and I’m not sure if they ever will be. This building needs to be shut down and all of the residents need to find better places to live that actually care about their well being in their last days. Also, management plays nice but their actually [language removed] people who told us to our faces that they’re a [language removed], why would that be something to be proud of and tell your staff? It made it hard to come to management to ask for help though it was a rare occurrence to see managers on the floor actually helping the aids. Overall this place is trash. They can’t keep up with simple things like ordering their food for the kitchen to trash bags for the residents rooms. I would think twice about placing any of your family members in this building.

Both my parents have been at Americana Seniors. My mom, who is 96 years old has been at Americana Seniors more than nine years now, and loves it! She especially enjoys the dinners like old-fashioned, meatloaf, and mashed potatoes, and fresh hamburgers, the soups, salads and so much more, especially the desserts! They have so many activities that are engaging and stimulating. Most of all, the front line workers really make the difference in her life, caring, loving, available. We wouldn't want her at any other place. She has made many friends here. Quiet, peaceful residential venue. Thanks Americana Seniors!

My grandmother loved her time at Americana. They kept her and involved with activities ,eveytime I went to visit her I found her laughing with residents and staff members. She loved the care that she received. She look forward to meal times the facility was warmly decorated. It made a difficult decision easy because she loved it! I know we made the right decision.

I was thinking about putting my mother in this facility but it looks so depressing, the carpet is disgusting and have stains everywhere it looks like they’re never cleaned it since installing it back in 1980

As a former employee working there was never fun, the place can’t keep a decent amount of staff, there’s been plenty of times working with just myself and one other person in the whole building. These residents pay so much money to live there and their food never looks good the residents always complain that things are cold or too hard for them to chew. In top of everything management just sucks in general, [name removed] is never to be found and they’re just unhelpful in many ways. The building isn’t up to standard they’re constantly having people come out to fix things and sometimes they’re still not fixed.

Phenomenal care staff and environment. There has been a recent change in management and it has been such a positive change. The new Director Andrea, is such a bright light. You can tell she truly cares. Since the change I have seen more community involvement and more of a loving atmosphere brought to Americana. When you leave your loved ones in the hands of someone else it's a hard transition, and I am so happy and comfortable with this facility. So many more activities have been incorporated into daily schedules, organized outings for the residents, and most importantly great care. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a clean, professional, loving home for their loved ones.

Our family has been very happy with the care our mom is receiving at Americana! The staff are so friendly, loving and helpful. It is an already emotional time to go through as a family but Americana made the transition as easy as it can possibly be and we will be forever grateful.

My Aunt has been at Americana now for a while. I cannot say enough good things about the facility and the staff. Even though I am out of state, they are very good about communication. She fully ejoys the atmosphere, the food, the people and the activities.

We have just finished moving my dad in at Americana Seniors today. Have been working with the staff the last week or so and they have been great!!! Since Covid you cant go in so they had to put together beds and mount tvs, etc. And theve done it all. Very sweet bunch of workers over there. As for my dad, I am completely at ease with him staying there. So far it couldnt have gone better. Thank you to all. Including the chef. Dad loved his first lunch.

My mom had a stroke and needs alot of care. We moved her to Brookdale in Davison at the end of July 2016. The employees there are incredible. We had many needs coming in and they all did their best to make her feel welcome. My mom loves the food there and participates in the many events that they have available. It is always clean and quiet too. I would highly recommend this place !

The longer my mom is in this place, the better we like it. The people are all very nice and efficient and really care for the residents. Everyone there is also very nice and accommodating to family members. We are invited to many events that they have frequently. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
