Everyone is so funny about assisted living/ rehab/nursing care. You have to physically check in everyday or every week and call your loved one everyday. You can't just dump them and expect miracles. Staff can be perfect but they are often understaffed, underpaid and over worked.

My mom lives at Baldwin Senior Living, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the care she’s receiving there. Before moving in, she was spending a lot of time alone and experiencing frequent falls, which was very concerning for our family. Since becoming a resident, she is absolutely thriving. She now looks forward to going to lunch every day, which gives her a reason to get dressed, stay active, and socialize with others. We’ve seen such a positive change in her overall well-being. She’s stronger, more engaged, and most importantly, her falls have decreased significantly. She tells us often how happy she is and that she feels safe, which means everything to us. The staff have been incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful every step of the way. We are so grateful to have found Baldwin Senior Living. It has truly made a difference in my mom’s quality of life.

Baldwin House is a wonderful community with a caring staff that is excited to help people. Every time I go there tom visit my elder law clients, I am always greeted by the residents hanging out in the lobby or by a staff member passing by. If you are looking for a place for your loved one. You have found it! Our experience was beyond exceptional. This was a difficult process for us as we look for the right fit for my sister. Celeste was so very kind and walked us through the process that seemed daunting to us at the time. She made it as easy as could be her expertise and kindness will be impressed on our mind and hearts for years to come. And the apartments are lovely, newly remodeled, clean and very practical for those who need assistance. The social director is also to be commended, fun events for the residence. BRAVO to ALL. I can’t say enough good things about Baldwin House Lakeside. My mom has been there for almost 2 years and she loves it. The staff is amazing and go above and beyond. I was very worried about moving my mom to this type of facility but now I see how happy she is singing and dancing and loving all her friends and I couldn’t be more thankful. Thank you Baldwin House for taking such good care of my mom and a huge relief off my shoulders. Highly recommend!!!

It's a very reputable business. It's very nice, the units are beautiful and they treat their residents with the utmost respect. They have food they serve. They have workout equipment and many more things offered to their residents. I'd highly recommend Baldwin House for seniors.

My dear friend, Daniel Sinnhuber, had spent the majority of the last five months of his life at Baldwin House. The people were so kind. The staff was so kind. The staff really knew who everybody was that lived there. A lot of sincere good people work there. I thank them for making Dan always feel special.

My Mom has been there since Sept 2021 and every time we inquire about her shower she hasn’t had one. Also we sign up for a menu and she is given whatever they have. Not what she ordered. Not pleased with the care.

We moved my 81 year old father here July 2021. Was not sure if it would work, he recently lost his lady friend of 8 years and there are definitely signs of damentia. This place is AWESOME!! Lois especially has been such a blessing! I cannot thank her enough. The ENTIRE staff is amazing. It’s been 4 months now and even my dad continues to say what a great place and is so impressed everyone knows him by name. What a relief it has been on all of us.

My uncle has lived at Baldwin House Senior living Lakeside for over six months now, and I can't say enough about the peace of mind knowing my uncle is cared for. When I spoke with Lois, the Assistant Executive Director, to schedule a tour, she went over and above, answering all my questions, and I had many. Lois and the office staff worked within my uncle's budget and helped with enrollment in a tax credit program that reduced his rent. From the kitchen staff to the housekeeping staff, every employee has treated my uncle with Kindness, encouraging him to participate in the daily activities. They pay attention! Every time I visit, one of the employees always had something positive to say about my uncle, what he did that week, even if it's going downstairs to collect his mail. His apartment is spacious and clean. His clothes are laundered and meals prepared, which allows him the living independently.

American House has been so good, my mom lived with me for a while and was miserable. Living here has giving her back her independence, Although the past year was hard with quarantine, American House found ways to keep her spirit up. We know she is safe, the medical team looks out for her and we know she is well cared for even though she is living in her own apartment. She loves having a place of her own again and we are grateful she can and she is still safe. The come in daily and do housekeeping although she cleans before they come in. They have activities that keep her mind and spirit up and she has made many friends. I would not hesitate to move there when it is my time.

My Mom has been a resident here at American House Lakeside for several years now and it has and is a fantastic place. The compassion and care is incredible. Security and the medical team are very good. And the entire campus is very clean with housekeeping making sure to clean all rooms regularly and doing bed linens weekly. Living here has allowed my mother to live a safe and independent life and for that I am very thankful.

My grandma has been living there for about two years now and we have seen an absolute WORLD of difference in her from when she lived with us. She has her “independence” back. I put it in quotes because qualified professionals are nearby if she needs anything 24/7 i was just able to see her for Easter(because through the facility she was able to get her COVID-19 vaccine) and she had a million things to tell us about how good the food is, and how she is taking care of herself now and all the friends she has made... and all the things she has been able to do now. Having people around her own age a lot of her old beloved friends have passed, but since moving in she has been able to make a ton of friends and tell them all about her life. American house Lakeside has been legitimately a godsend for my family and my grandma. My family is extremely appreciative for everything that American house lakeside has done.
