I cannot say enough wonderful things about Darleen and Chesaning Comfort Care. Finding a place where you feel completely confident that someone you love will be safe, cared for, and treated like family is incredibly important, and that is exactly the kind of environment Darleen has created. She is incredibly involved and truly knows what is happening within her home. You can see how much she cares about the residents and how hard she works to make sure their individual needs are met. The home is always beautiful and exceptionally clean, and there is a sense of organization and attentiveness that provides peace of mind regarding your loved one’s stay. They give the upmost genuine care and compassion shown to the residents. Their communication is excellent, everyone works together, and you never feel like your loved one is just another resident. Darleen holds herself and her team to a very high standard, and it shows in the quality of care they provide every single day. A really warm and welcoming place! The staff are friendly and really care for the Residents! The management were able to answer all the questions I had and I was very pleased with my tour! Our Mom lived at Comfort Care for 2 1/2 years. The entire staff was so very kind and caring with our Mom. If we had questions or concerns, then the whole staff was always available to help. We always felt heard. The end of life Hospice care at Comfort Care was wonderful. Mom was able to stay in her own room. That was a big comfort to all of us! The staff's capacity to deeply care about our mom (and other residents) was very evident at the end of mom's life.

Comfort care took the time to save my mother in law a spot for a couple weeks in order for her to stay there. They called us when she was running low on supplies and made sure if she had any issues that we would be informed on her health every couple days. They had amazing family gathering opportunities so we could have quality time in an exciting environment. There food quality is also great because it does include dessert every time. Mas favorite lol. Mom came to know the names of workers and always considered them like family. She was eager about getting to walk again and take a shower with no fear in the shower. They even had pampering days where the women get their nails done and have coffee and cookies. Mom needed that extra social time as at home the caregivers worked and left and she needed more interaction with seniors. When she went on hospice comfort care did everything they could to help us with the transition. I miss being there to see her though I know she isn't there it's a great reminder that there is still hope and a great place for your loved one to be. Mom was there in October last year til may this year.... comfort care also supports locally and reaches out to families even when there loved ones have departed. Please don't look at prices as a downfall. Residents have their own room and bathroom, great meals, fun activities for family to, and more. Thank you comfort care. Hope to see you guys soon!

My mom is the resident at comfort care ,they treat her like family! All the employees I have crossed paths with are very professional and loving. I am there quite often to visit, so I oversee this personally myself. I was very impressed the first month when I was visiting they had a temporary cook one of the personal care workers double check to make sure the chicken was completely cooked for the residents . There isn’t many care givers that would do something that caring most places would just serve it . I am in the food business so this really impressed me. They work together as a team Natalie, Cheyenne, Nichole ,Lacey and etc . I can not remember all there names but both the young men and women are so caring . Ashley the coordinator makes there day fulfilled with activities and office girls Darlene and Lexi make everything run smoothly. If something is missing like a hearing aid or anything they look till they find . So far I am very happy with this establishment! Also April,Cheryl, Jeri and Michelle from Amara ’•

The people here really care. My mother spent the last months of her life here. I wish she could have spent them at home but this was the next best option. They treated us like family. My dad visited nearly everyday and the staff at this facility really helped him through this difficult time. I really want to thank them for for everything they did.

My mother was recently a guest as she transitioned from this life to the next. Darlene, Natalie, and the entire caregiving team gave exceptional care for not only my mother, but for our entire family. The staff anticipated all of our needs before we could even think of them ourselves. They went above and beyond in caring for our precious mother and created a sacred, peaceful place for our last moments with her. We are grateful for the experience they provided and recommend anyone seek their services when in need.

Did a drop in visit with my grandmother for information about the assisted living for my grandfather , spoke to nurse Lexy and she was phenomenal! My grandma was worried that assisted living wouldn’t be the right decision for my grandpa. Prior to the visit she felt like no one would be able to take care of him like she does. Well Lexy with her knowledge and reassurance totally changed my grandma mind set! I think we are one step closer to getting my grandpa the care he needs and relieve my grandma of that responsibility. Thank you Lexy you are a blessing! 🙂

Chesaning Comfort Care goes above and beyond for their residents and even the community. The countless activities they do with the residents shows how caring and involved they all are at providing care and compassion. We attended the Trick or Treat event they held on halloween and the staff was very involved in helping the residents pass candy and the smiles on all their faces proved what a good time they were having. The hallways were lined with residents as they tried to include them all. ( Not an easy task as some needed monitored but the staff was helpful and friendly even as one resident tried eating all the candy herself, candy that was to be passed out. Haha ) Thank you Comfort Care for another great community event. We love coming in and talking with the residents

In a difficult time of transition, it is reassuring to have people you can trust with your loved one. The Comfort Care Staff did a wonderful job from beginning to end. Knowing our mother was safe and well cared for was very reassuring to our family. Our experience was a positive one. Especially during these troubled times of Covid, short staffing and losing a loved one. The facility was clean and secure. Crafts and other activities available. Chesaning Comfort Care has been a great place for my mother. The staff is very kind and courteous to the residents and guests. The place is always very clean when we visit and they have many activities for the residents. My mom has told me the food is really good and she loves the hair salon. Connie has been nothing but kind and understanding. The rooms are generous in size and are basically small apartments. It is clear that the safety and happiness of the residents is the first priority here. After visiting numerous senior care facilities in the area, this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend this place.

It was a very difficult decision to move my mom to a facility from home, but we knew it was time. Connie and her team went above and beyond making my dad and I feel at ease through the transition.
