My mom entered Sunrise in June of 2026, straight into memory care. I can’t thank the 3rd floor enough for their kindness and love towards my mom. The staff go above and beyond. I’m so happy she’s only 3 miles from my house! I see her all the time and the staff are all smiles. Shout out to the sales dept. Stevie and Bree are the sweetest. Always lend an ear when needed and to my favorite activities director Leona. She brings my mom down to participate but takes pictures of her for me especially when I’m out of town. I know this is lengthy but I’m happy my mom is well cared for. Food quality is good too. . Mom loves the soups and desserts especially but hey she’s 80 so I’m ok with that. Lisa Howard ’•

This facility is absolutely wonderful and so is the staff! Stevie (one of the staff) is absolutely amazing! She took us on a tour a couple months ago, and right from the start, she was an absolute gem. She was so kind to my mother, who’s in the process of moving in, and really made my her feel at home. The facility is extremely clean and beautiful, with all the amenities you could ever want! I have looked at four different facilities and Sunrise takes the cake. As soon as we walked in the doors, my mom and I felt very comfortable. I can’t tell you how much peace I feel bringing my mom here because I know she is going to have the best care from the staff and from the nurses. The menu looks great and they have so many choices for everyone. My mom is so excited To make this her new home and this puts me at ease because she wasn’t too keen on moving until I took her to Sunrise. I could go on and on but once you take a tour of the facility, you’ll see what I’m talking about!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Sunrise Senior Living of Bloomfield Hills for the first time, and I was very impressed. The community is beautiful, welcoming, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. Bri and Stevie from the sales team were exceptional”professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the residents and the care they provide. They took the time to answer my questions, gave me a thorough tour, and made me feel like a valued partner in patient care. It's clear they are dedicated to creating a positive experience for both residents and healthcare professionals. I look forward to working with the team in the future.

In January of 2024, our Aunt Kay was dealing with memory changes and neurological disease and could no longer live alone and needed 24 hour care. So we transported her rather urgently from California. Every human at Sunrise has been so helpful. From getting her there, to figuring out furniture, to how to get cable installed, and ongoing care. We toured 6 facilities, from super fancy ones we couldn’t really afford to ones we couldSunrise just had the right vibe, and was located close for visits. And felt the best. The facility is very nice, well appointed but the real gold are the people here. They are so kind, empathetic and respectful. I cannot believe how much care and attention our aunt gets. We also do our best to get to know caregivers, staff and other residents. Remember you and your loved one ARE the community so how you show up matters too.

The warmth starts from the top. The Director Vera is amazing. She is very present and cares about residents and their families.My husband is in memory care on 3rd floor.The care staff, med techs, kitchen staff all show such love, joy, compassion to residents.No place is perfect, but they are pretty close to it.

The staff, led by Exec Director Vera, is phenomenal! My aunt has lived at Sunrise for almost 5 years and she is treated like family. I can’t speak so highly of corporate (except for Mazie. She’s great!) but the staff that interacts daily with my aunt makes up for the lack of competence at the corporate level. My aunt is happy and healthy thanks to the staff at Sunrise BH!

What started as an unexpected comfort care stay for our beautiful 88 year old mother has turned into something so wonderful! There are many reasons for this, but none more impactful than Vera, the director at Sunrise. From the get go, she took immediate action to help with the transition from her home to a place she was not prepared to go to. The staff has made her feel welcome, valued and secure which has given our whole family peace of mind and hope for the future. We originally signed up for 30 days, but we are past that now and are moving through this process with the caring guidance of Vera and her wonderful staff.

My grandmother was at Sunrise Seniors for 2 years when I received a notice that her rent was going up to 7,000 Starting Dec,1,2023 on Nov 21,203 I received the notice so I moved my grandmother out Nov30,2023 there was not a thirty day notice given to me So I had no choice because we could not afford that Her rent went up four times in two years .My Grandmother passed on Dec13.2023 after moving her out and I have given them the death certificate and they made copies twice .They took a payment out of the bank Jan 2024 and still have not returned that payment back to me and to add insult to injury I keep getting billed every month asking for payment when is this going to stop. My grandmother had supervised visits while at sunrise during the time I was preparing for her funeral I asked if anyone had pictures that they wanted to contribute to the obituary and there were pictures given to me that should have never been taken because the visits for that person was never authorized and I remember getting a call and denying the visit because the person lied about asking to see her so as her guardian I said NO that was not honored, and on several occasions I've found things in her room such as Large black garbage bag full of things such as pop corn, pretzels and potato chips and No-0ne knew who they got they and the administrator was not to concerned about the matter she was on a mechanical soft diet and edematous diet. I was told on several Occasions that the refund was sent to me but they cant tell me a date or when . I just what my money back and them to stop billing me enough is enough I would like to just move forward in my life without a constant reminder of Sunrise .

Im very please with the living here at Sunrise. When I first moved from my home, I missed my house. I had been there for 37yrs, but this is a much better living situation for me now. I am very pleased with all it has to offer me. It helps with me my medical and social needs.

My aunt has been here for a little over two years and she has never been happier. Before Sunrise, she barely wanted to get out of her room, wasn’t interested in reading or watching her stories and had stopped playing euchre with her friends, as they had done for so many years. It took a few months, but she settled in quite well with the help of their caregivers. Caring for my aunt is expensive as she requires a lot of medications and assistance to get through the day. With that being said, this Sunrise has been very transparent with the cost of her care, price increases and has worked with my family on a few occasions to help us remain in budget while making sure that she has everything she needs. Their dedication and genuine desire to improve lives shows in their work everyday!

Sunrise has a wonderful staff of directly-employed people. However, it still relies too heavily on agency fill-ins to provide adequate caregiver services to its Memory Care residents. The agency fill-ins do not provide for continuity of quality care.

I have a friend on the memory care floor here and she gets very good care. I am there quite often and all the staff are so friendly and ready to help if you need anything. This is a beautiful facility with caring staff and I would highly recommend it.

Loving care in a beautiful setting. Staff truly cares about resdents. Management work the floor in all aspects, care, meal service and transport. This is not an easy job, but staff is kind and willing to help--from the top down. Highly recommend.

Sunrise outshines all other assisted care facilities that my family member has stayed at during recovery from an illness. From the office staff, caregivers, nursing staff, housekeeping, food service, all staff were kind, respectful, and helpful. As a business manager I can tell you that this facility is well thought out for it’s residents. Sunrise would be our first choice for care of our family member if ever needed again in the future.

The people at Sunrise were amazing to work with when my 95 year old mother's stroke made it impossible for her to continue to drive and live independently in the home she had lived in for over fifty years. The care my mother received was outstanding. The staff was caring and made an effort to get to know my Mom. They provided me a wealth of information to help my Mom. Their cooperation was particularly valuable since I was coordinating her care from thousands of miles away before I could get back to Michigan and help her move in to Sunrise. Everyone from the sales staff to the care givers were first rate. I cannot recommend this facility with any higher rating. If I was not moving my mother to Washington to be closer to me, she would have been a permanent resident at Sunrise. Lovely place!
