Just moved my sister-in-law and her husband out of Kittery Estates, as they now need nursing care. In the 2+ years they were here, they received a little help when they needed it; even though this is an independent living facility. Very well kept, with a friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Great service, beautiful rooms. Great vibe, would send more grandparents here if I had more. Only complaint is a slight smell of manure outside near the newly planted fresh vegetation.

Seems like a nice place. Visually interesting and convenient. Seems like they offer a pleasant environment. I expect people needing this place might resent the fact they need it, and review it harshly.

We helped my in-laws move into Kittery Estates in July of 2013. We enjoyed the immaculate facility, the friendly staff, the abundance of activities and the ease of life it afforded. I particularly enjoyed the football party on the big screen upstairs that included treats from the kitchen, George the helpful maintenance man and the easy and inexpensive taxi service available to take you to medical appointments. When my father-in-law passed in 2014, we had a wonderful memorial service right on the premises with the assistance of the staff. The only thing we would change is that the noontime meal, the big one of the day, is very long, but it is a social time for the residents who dont seem to mind. I recommend anyone look at Kittery Estates for a quality independent living experience.
