Although we don't reside in Blakehurst ourselves, we have our dear American friends who have been living there for many years. As we care much about their living conditions and general satisfaction, we often raise our simple question about how they are doing there and all we hear every time is their total satisfaction which always makes us feel happy. I was so impressed today that I have to say something here for my appreciation to the front desk staff. After receiving my call due to the phone contacts failure with my best respectful friend, they went to his room and knocked his door open to pass on my message so that he could call me back to connect. This is special and extra miles they did for my friend who has hearing difficulties. Both my friend and I were deeply grateful for what they do in Blakehurst. Our sincere thanks!

I would highly recommend this community to anyone considering a move to a senior living community. I had the wonderful opportunity to work at Blakehurst for over three years. The employees are dedicated and care deeply for the residents of the community. The quality of care, food and level of hospitality is exceptional.

Very dedicated staff who are very generous with their time. They were very helpful in guiding us with plans for the apartment and for the financial angle of the property. They are especially patient with questions from prospective members.

This was the worst work experience of my life. I resigned in a week. I gave three stars because most of the staff are excellent and a few rotten grapes can be removed from upper management . My department was security. I will not go into detail, but I will say that this is the first time that I have ever felt the need to leave a review. It was very disappointing.

My boyfriend's Poppop lives here and every time we go to visit I'm always blown away by how kind the staff is, how many activities they have going on, and (not even kidding) how good the food actually is??? A woman once joked to me that moving in means you "gain the Blakehurst 15, like a freshman 15- but for older folks" and honestly, I believe her! It's really a just wonderful place. Super nice and clean and I'm pretty jealous of some of their facilities like their work out areas and their movie theater!
