Great residents, Verna who oversees activities has a heart of gold, Krystin is the most flexible supervisor, I have young kids so only available when their dad is off; weekends and when a sitter is available. Great place to work and looking forward to sharing to future grandkids that I helped during the pandemic. I made sure that those who spent their lives helping our country had something to eat. May not make a ton of money, but with staff shortages now everywhere working anywhere matters and this place truly makes a difference. Lorien Proud.

I was there for rehabilitation for three months. The staff was so thoughtful and caring, they saved my life at least twice. I had pneumonia and they couldnt get a reading for my oxygen. I was fortunate to have Ms Lidia to come to my rescue , she called for the nurse Mike, and they swiftly took care of me. There were so many people there that took care of me, it is hard to name them all. The techs went out of their way to make sure that the residents were comfortable and had what they needed. After having been there for three months, I miss the staff that became like family. I want to thank everyone. I continue to recover though slower than I expected as I have had pneumonia three more times since I left. The last time they changed the antibiotics I am hoping this does the trick. Lorien Taneytown is the absolute best place to work. Our staff is like a second family. We all work as a team at all times. We all Love and Care for our Residents just like they are our own Family, and in some cases they actually are family members of staff.I Love coming to work everyday.

Fabulous care facility !!! My mother is there for the 3rd time in over 2 years. I would not, could not, send her any place else. All levels of Staff are friendly and caring. You can order your own meals if you dont like what they are serving that day. Nurses and Techs are very attentive. I dont mean to say everyone is perfect. People forget, get distracted, and are just plain busy at times. But, they are knowledgeable or they go find someone who can help you.

My Mom has been a resident at Lorien for almost two years. I am very pleased with the care she receives on a daily basis. All staff members really care about the residents and do whatever it takes to help and make them feel welcomed and loved. I love the variety of activities that are offered and the encouragement given to residents to join in. She has adjusted to her surroundings and made friends. I can sleep at night knowing she has care and support 24 hours.

My mother Myrl Pittinger was a resident at Lorien Taneytown. She lived to be 100 1, 2 and that is because of the loving and caring attention she recieved since she walked thru the front door. She enjoyed every minute she lived there after so many years alone in her own home. I cant imagine that there any better facilities available. We very pleased with her level of care she received.
