I can't begin to express my sincere appreciation for what you all accomplished. In many ways, it was the first time in my life that I bested my mother, by hiring you. It was a FAR better experience than what she had in place prior to your arrival.

My mother has been receiving services from ComforCare of Severna Park for a couple of years now. She started with six hours a day and now she is up to sixteen hours a day. I could not be happier with the services of this company. The main caregiver, Karen, communicates with me regularly and brings any concerns to my attention immediately. She sends me pictures of my mom several times a week and keeps me updated on how she is doing. She has gone above and beyond my expectations many times. One time, there was a leaky toilet and she stayed three hours past her scheduled time because the plumber hadn't finished his work. She said to me "I wasn't going to leave your mom in the house with some strange man." On her birthday, she decorated the dining room with balloons and streamers so that my mom would feel special on her day. These are just a couple of examples of how Karen treats my mom as if she is a member of her own family. My mom can be difficult and all of the caregivers care for her with patience and love. Although, I don't communicate with her other caregivers as much as Karen, they will text me if there is a question or concern. I visit her once a month and she is always well dressed and clean. The house is always clean as well. Karen sends me a food list every Monday and I order food from Giant to be delivered on Tuesday. So there is always food in the fridge when I visit. Tom, the owner, is also very communicative with me. I can always call him with questions, and he always contacts me if there is a problem. When my mom was in rehab, there was a confusion with a Dr. appt that she had to attend. Since there was no one scheduled to take her, Tom went with her and made sure that she got there safely. The ride home did not show up to take them back to the rehab facility, so Tom arranged a ride for her to get back to the facility safely. I am sure Tom had other plans for that day, but he did what was needed as he always does. He and Karen installed a gate at the top of my mom's stairs and Tom has changed the light on my mom's porch. When I brought my mom home from rehab, I couldn't carry her by myself to her room. I called Tom and he came right over to help me. Again, just a couple of examples of how wonderful this company is. They truly care about their patients and families. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for someone to help out with an elderly parent or friend.

I can’t say enough about Tom and the entire staff. They were all so caring and professional and developed real relationships with my dad and with us. Tom was extremely flexible about finding caregivers my dad liked (no easy task) and really stayed on top of his care and our needs as my dad progressed to needing more care. I was able to have complete peace of mind despite living far away.
