I moved to IKF 2 1/2 years ago and I am thrilled to live here. I treasure and take advantage of the many activities that are offered. They range from various exercise activities (In the gym or in the saltwater pool), to joining singing groups, reading clubs, playing card games, attending a wide variety of lectures or being entertained in our large Cultural Arts Center. An art studio attracts many residents. We use our bus to visit museums, attend concerts and plays, not only in DC, and Strathmore but also in other nearby locations. A dedicated TV station is available to watch movies and listen to concerts or lectures. And importantly, the residents are warm and friendly. Need I say more?? If you are interested, try to pay us a visit and see for yourself.

I am tremendously grateful for the care my mother has received as a resident of the Assisted Living neighborhood at Ingleside at King Farm. Our experience has been outstanding since she moved in about a year and a half ago. The nursing staff are compassionate and skilled, providing the peace of mind we were seeking in making the transition from a home environment. Following a brief hospitalization, my mother received skilled nursing care on the same floor as her apartment “ what a relief from the previous routine of scrambling for an open bed in another rehab facility! The range of activities offered each day to assisted-living residents is amazing. My mother especially enjoys the exercise classes, musical concerts, flower-arranging sessions, and documentary programs. Another great feature of assisted living at IKF is the atmosphere provided by the vibrant independent-living community. We have taken advantage of art displays, top-notch performances, and worship services offered to the entire community. It is always a pleasure to visit. Staff and residents alike are unfailingly friendly, courteous, and helpful. We have really enjoyed the pleasant dining venues and indoor and outdoor gathering spaces on the first floor, where we can meet with friends and hold family celebrations. All in all, we couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at IKF. Recommended 100%!

I stopped in just to take a look around and see what the place was about”and I was immediately greeted with such warmth and professionalism. The staff and concierge were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the care they provide. You can tell right away that this team is dedicated to making everyone feel seen, heard, and supported. It’s rare to find a place that feels this personal and attentive from the moment you walk in. In searching for placement for a family member, I had the pleasure of speaking with the Resident Care Coordinator, Shar. She provided pertinent information, with patience and understanding. Very knowledgeable, and kind. I am definitely considering Ingleside in the near future.

We placed my wife’s mother at King Farm Ingleside initially for assisted living and later for skilled nursing. We are so appreciative of the wonderful guidance, support, help and care from the initial intake through her her stay in the skilled nursing facility. Her care received from the staff at both facilities, at every level, was exceptional. Thank you King Farm in Rockville!

My mom lived at IKF independently for 4 1/2 years and after a 5 day hospital stay we moved her into skilled nursing. She stayed there for 2 1/2 months and the care was exceptional--the nurses were on top of every detail; the aides provided loving care for all of her daily tasks---dressing, bathing, eating; and the activities team kept her engaged in art, music, exercise and talks. Volunteers were also available to take her to church or the salon at IKF. Our family visited my mom often and the IKF staff was like family after just a few weeks. I would highly recommend the 7th floor skilled nursing--we found it better than aides around the clock because the level of care was superior--nurses 24/7 in addition to aides.

Today my husband and I toured the property as a potential home for my parents. Sales agent Sophy Brauns was extremely friendly to us and all the residents and staffers she encountered. We had a tasty lunch in one of the cozy restaurants, and saw lots of residents who were engaged and socializing with their friends. We appreciated the 9 foot ceilings, 36 inches high kitchen and bathroom cabinets, stone countertops, luxury vinyl flooring, and large balconies or patios, all of which were standard throughout the property. The indoor pool is large and light-filled. The gym, exercise studio and art studio were spacious and attractive. The onsite synagogue is a great feature, as are the college-level classes offered by onsite lifetime learning! Benefits of being part of the planned King Farm neighborhood include proximity to a children's daycare center, walkable shopping, and being with people of all ages. We would be very happy to have my parents move into this community.

Shirley thoroughly enjoys her time spent at Ingleside Engaged. She looks forward to each session and is always amped up at the end of the day by the activities that have been pursued, ranging from the cerebral to the physical. In addition, the staff persons involved in these sessions are knowledgeable and kind-hearted, which is critically important to their success.

Great place to live. Lots to do--many movies, talks, etc., and no extra fees except for off-campus events like local concerts and plays. The exercise program is excellent---I love the fact that they have continued zoom classes post-COVID so that you can exercise at home if you want. Our apartment is big and comfortable and our cat likes it almost as much as we do.

Moving to Gardenside is about continuing our quality of life. We are active adults and this will be a long distance move for us. We have found current residents and staff open and responsive to our questions and concerns. We have met many of them during construction of Gardenside and have dined with several potential new neighbors. While the process of downsizing and moving can be daunting at times we always feel there is attentive assistance if requested. We are looking forward to being closer to family and continuing our active lifestyle at Gardenside.

We have lived at Ingleside for 4 years and love it. Life is very easy and a lot of fun. No more dealing with house problems, no more cooking, no more yard work, no isolation since there are people and activities available from morning to night. You can have quiet in your apartment, or be involved in as many classes, committees, concerts, exercise sessions, day trips that you want. Residents and staff are exceptionally nice, caring, and helpful. Food is excellent. We are so glad that we did not wait too long to make this big move. We made the decision while we could both enjoy life here.

Reserved a unit at Ingleside at King Farm for delivery in 2 or 3 years. Timing was great for us and proximity to our daughter and her family was important. We liked the feel of the larger King Farm community, easy access to Metro and the spaciousness of the new units. New community facilities in process all look quite well done. Staff we've met so far are enthusiastic and competent. Residents seem pleased with how things are run. Nursing and assisted living are on site. All in all, a good move for my wife and I in a couple of years.

My parents have lived at Ingleside at King Farm for the past six years. They have never been happier or more involved with friends and busy in activities. They love the trips to Strathmore, the Kennedy Center, and lunch meals out with their friends. Instead of them entertaining for holidays at their house, we reserve a room at Ingleside and my mom can order our meal from the dining team. Now I know what belonging to a country club is like, or as my mom says, "living on a cruise ship." My husband and I are actually hoping to move to Ingleside when we retire and join the fun!

My wife and I have lived here for more than 2 years. It is a superlative retirement community. There is a wonderful atmosphere here where all residents and staff are almost extended family. Management goes out of their way to be helpful. Virtually everyone here is very happy they chose Ingleside at King Farm.
