My mother has been at Arden Courts for a little over a year, and while she was understandably uncomfortable at first ( as were we ), the staff's dedication and support made a big difference. It's clear they genuinely care about the residents, which brings a lot of peace of mind to our family. Mom is now content and happy, something we are all very grateful for. Though I unfortunately live out of state, I visit very often, and each time I see how well my mother is cared for. My sister and dad, who live locally and get to visit everyday, are also very pleased with the level of communication and personalized attention at Arden Courts. Knowing that she is in a place where she is safe and supported means the world to us. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for memory care for a loved one. The staff is very kind and extra thanks to Kelly and Laura for their expert advice throughout this journey. Thank you Arden Courts!

We have been fortunate enough to have worked with Arden Courts Pikesville many times. Kelly and Laura are available 24 hours a day for us. There have been a few times we have needed them on weekends. Within minutes we hear back. Truly one of the best at caring for their residents as well as the families. The residents are smiling with the caregivers and are engaged in the activities as well.

I found this gem back in Sept 2023 when I knew we'd eventually need a special place for Mom. Fast forward to July 2024, when I needed them, Arden Courts Pikesville, especially Laura U was ready and able. She worked with me and other provides to make sure this transition went as smooth as possible. I just love Arden. Their administrative, operational, and nursing staffs are professional and caring. Their attention to details far exceeded my expectations. Too bad I can only give 5 stars, they are definitely worth 10 I would recommend Arden Courts Pikesville to anyone who is looking for the next "home" for their love one

Arden Courts in Pikesville, MD has helped my husband tremendously since he arrived there in early January 2024. He walked in the door having spent time in another assisted living primarily using a wheelchair, staying in his room in his chair with long wait times after pressing the call button, and often having difficulty with food choices since he reacts poorly to gluten. Now he primarily uses his walker, socializes with other residents in the community, walks to the TV room to watch sports or news, and regularly is checked on by his caregivers and other staff. Although he does not attend activities regularly, he is attending music programs, some art activities, and small gatherings. He seems happier. This memory care home offers an activities program designed to engage the residents and promote thinking and movement skills. Music, games, and painting are often included in the full daily schedule. The staff and supervisors are kind, thoughtful and genuinely caring. The basic elements of kindness, patience, understanding, and dignity for residents permeate the whole facility-- from the front offices, custodian and housekeeping and kitchen to the nursing staff and caregivers. When we came for a tour, we were told that there were many people on the staff who had worked there more than ten years. In memory loss residents may not remember the names of people, but they remember the warmth and kindness the person gives them. At Arden Courts that culture of caring is evident from the first step inside the door. Our family highly recommends Arden Courts for memory care.

The activity coordinator is an angel sent by God to help my wife make this necessary transition. The staff is compassionate, and the facility is clean and modern. The rooms are very comfortable. I highly recommend this facility.

We looked at MANY memory care facilities for my father, and Arden Courts Pikesville was far and away the best option. It is extremely comfortable and feels like a home rather than a drab institutional setting or a hotel, which seemed to be the other options. It is colorful and interesting visually—stimulating for the residents. A huge plus is accessible outdoor space. When the weather allows, residents can safely go outside and enjoy the pretty gardens. The rooms are small but cozy, the food is good, and the caregivers are skilled, kind, and respectful to everyone. Arden really shines with their holiday special events—Thanksgiving was lovely, as was the New Year's party and Veteran's Day. The only reason I am not giving Arden Courts 5 stars is that my family found that communication between my family and the staff could have been more organized during my father's move-in and adjustment period. I think if we had known what we wanted in terms of updates, etc. going in, they would have accommodated us but we "didn't know what we didn't know." That said, it's an excellent place and they provide very good care in a safe and comfortable environment!

As a former nursing home administrator I was asked to investigate Arden Courts for several people. Each visit was met with friendly staff, lovely surroundings, happy residents. The prospective residents were different ages with different medical issues. I encouraged their loved ones to ask all questions and concerns that they had. One resident is my husband's cousin. The other resident is a woman I've known for over 60 years. I am so glad that these two special women are at Arden Courts and very well cared for!!!! I highly recommend this facility!!!!!!!!!!

Arden came into our lives at a very difficult time. We were unsure how to best care for our mom. Arden provided excellent services. Their medical staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help. Their caregivers are kind and truly form a bond with the families and patients. Mom was safe and extremely well cared for. We could not have asked for a better facility. We are very grateful for all they have done for us…and mom!

Transitioning a loved one into a memory care facility can be difficult and filled with many physical and emotional challenges. However, moving my mom into Arden Courts was the best decision, and our experience has been great so far. The place is designed in every aspect for this particular population and feels like one big family. My mom is kept busy all day with activities and socialization, the food is good, and the place is clean. The vast majority of the caregivers we have encountered are kind, friendly, warm, and compassionate. It gives my dad and the rest of our family peace of mind knowing she is safe, well cared for, and her mind is stimulated as much as possible. If we have any issues or concerns, we know that we can reach out to Kelly or Laura anytime. We highly recommend Arden Courts Pikesville!

I would highly recommend Arden Courts of Pikesville to anyone who is looking for a warm, caring place to for their family member. It is a really hard decision to move your loved one to a facility, but I don't regret it. My mom has been there throughout the pandemic and they always found a way to continue at least some activities. The residents are treated with love and respect. There are a wide range of special activities for things like Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve and daily activities including music as well as opportunities if religion is important to your loved one. I really appreciate that I am always called if anything is going on with my mom. I know that I can contact Kelly or Tara anytime I have a concern and they will respond promptly. My mom just had a birthday and Sophia decorated her door and Kelly made sure we had nice linens and anything else we needed for her birthday dinner. Everyone knows my mom and it is very clear how much the staff care about her.

If you are looking for memory care placement for a loved one this is the place! Our family needed placement for my father in law last July. My sister had been at Arden Courts years ago. Everything at Arden Courts is designed for memory care. The design of the building is ground level so your loved one can walk outside and feel they have some freedom. They have beautiful gardens and a path they can walk. My father in law says the food is good! The staff has worked with us through this difficult time compassionately. I can't say enough good things about the staff! They have almost hourly activities daily.with outings most months. Please check this place out! You will be glad you did.

I can't say enough great things about the staff and the care my dad received at Arden Courts. Placing a parent away from home is a very emotional and hard decision. We want the best care possible for them. Choosing Arden Courts for my dad was the best decision I made. I was able to stop being a care giver, and go back to being a loving daughter. I knew he was in a warm. loving, and caring environment, with a "new family" that became my family as well. I trusted them immensely, and they never let me down. Unfortunately my dad passed away this month at age 98, but the love I received from everyone there, especially in his final days there, was overwhelming. My heartfelt thanks to Monica, Tara, Linda, Sophia, Kelly, Donna, Clint and the rest of staff. You are all angels. Anyone looking for a warm, safe, and loving home for their aging parents, I highly recommend Arden Courts!!!

I want to thank Kay Sullivan for all of her help in placing my husband in Arden Courts. That road had many sharp turns, disappointments, worry, tears and prayers, but Kay was there to help me through. I dont think that I could have gotten through this journey without her help and understanding. She knows dementia and was able to provide me with much information to ease my mind. I cant thank her enough!
