Wish you could have explained the schedule and cost better. When people are upset about getting help it's hard to get everything. Like 12hr min a week and making it 2 six hour days to getthe35.rate. We're not fully understanding that a 2 hour shift is 55 an hour. Or a 4hr shift is 45. The only 35.00 hr. shift is 6 or more hours in a row a day. Need to explain the process better. Other than that the service was very good.

2nd Family truly does offer the support of a second family. Their entire team from Priscilla to Kelly to Summer offered kind words and supportive information to help support the care we were providing to our our family members in need. They were very responsive and did an excellent job, analyzing the needs for our family and meeting them on a daily basis. The caregivers were kind and generous to our family and truly cared about their needs and accommodated them to meet them where they were in their health situation. Thanks to you and your team we made a challenging health situation much less overwhelming to everyone involved.

2nd Family provided compassionate and comprehensive 24 hour CNA care to a family member for two weeks. The RN who performed the initial and subsequent evaluations for care guided our family with her recommendations for what needed to be provided to ensure a safe and healthy environment as he transitioned home from the hospital. Summer, our administrative contact, was not only a compassionate listener but was well versed in LTC insurance/billing and made sure that staff was scheduled according to our needs. My family and I would highly recommend utilizing 2nd Family based on our personal experiences and, if the need arises, will go through them for all of our home care needs.

We've had 2 caregivers that have been taking care of my husband who has dementia-Nicole and Janice. Right away I knew that they were going to take wonderful care of my husband. They immediately came in and spoke directly to him, introducing themselves and telling him how glad they were to be there. They were nurturing and caring. It's so nice to be able to go to work and know he's being lovingly taken care of. I know this because he's excited to know that a caregiver is coming. It's nice also that his laundry gets done and his bed cloths are washed. Takes this off of me who is trying to work full time, take care of a home and a husband with dementia. It's alot! I'm glad I made the decision to finally bring in help. Thank you 2nd Family for being there not only for Gary but for me too.

Our experience with 2nd Family has been very positive. The staff have all been very friendly and take very good care of my husband. My husband is a mobile alzheimers patient that sleeps a lot. We are especially grateful for Camille. She has such a wonderful relationship with my husband. She is so personable. Goes above and beyond what any of the others do. Always makes him smile.

Our first day with our caregiver was amazing! She arrived on time and was ery eager to take the load off of me, Dad's primary caregiver. She is gentle and kind. I am so thankful to have the help. The office staff is extremely friendly, attentive, and caring. I give them a 10 out of 10. Give them a try. You won't regret it.

My family enlisted the help of 2nd family to help my grandparents. My grandmother has Alzheimers and dementia and it became too much for my grandfather to handle her alone. The compassion and care we received throughout the process was amazing. We are in Virginia and my grandparents are in Maryland so we wanted to be sure theyd be cared for until we could get them moved here with us. 2nd Family not only cared for my grandparents but they recognized and acknowledged our feelings as well. They listened patiently and took time to speak with us about the process. Im thankful also for the caretakers they sent to spend time with my grandmother. I dont know about you but I was sick and tired of feeling as though I didnt matter in my previous job. I would work long hours with little to no appreciation. I always say money is nice but will only make you happy for so long. I needed a job where the environment would be healthy and encouraging.
