Our parents have been at Heartfields since the end of December 2022. We have been extremely happy with the care and attention they have been given. The staff will call us if there is ever anything to share healthwise; they are ON IT. The food is very good with a soup of the day every day! They held a chili cookoff recently to raise money for Special Olympics. There were over 13 chilis to choose from, some great music to listen and dance to - a great time was had by all. I would highly recommend Heartfields for an aging family member who may not be quite as independent as he/she used to be.

I am very pleased with Heartfields Assisted Living at Easton, specifically the Memory Care Unit, Bridge to Recovery (BTR). The Director of BTR, Regena Thomas, is exceptional. We have great communication and every concern, request and discussion is listened to and treated with respect. Regena, as well as her staff, truly care for the residents. It is a special person who can provide loving care to residents with memory issues and the Director and her staff do it with patience, firmness, kindness and love.

The staff at Heartfields go above and beyond every day for my Dad. I have witnessed themed birthday parties, Grandparents Day, Veterans Day acknowledgements, and Holiday gatherings all where the staff participates with the families. It is truly heartwarming. I have joined my Dad for a meal on several occasions and it is always delicious. The facility is very clean and comfortable. Plus, Happy Hour and the entertainment never disappoints. It is comforting to know that he has assistance close by when he needs it, which takes a lot of pressure off of my siblings and I.

This was my first visit to see my dear friend, Elaine. While I was not sure what to expect, I was overwhelmed how great Elaine looked and more importantly how happy she was. Your facility is beautiful and clean. Your staff is excellent and particularly Jan, Megan and Hope. Elaine’s room is perfect and she has acclimated so well. I was SO happy when I heard Elaine was moved from Memory Care to the next up area. I could not have been more impressed with your facility and I THANK YOU SO MUCH for making the transition for Elaine seamless and professional. You are doing a great job and Elaine is your super client with your help and affection.

I moved my parents to Heartfields from a facility on the Western Shore. Mom has since passed away, but Daddy, at 102 years young, is still at Heartfields. He absolutely loves it there and has wonderful comments about all of the staff. To me, the facility is the best decision I ever made...it is clean, friendly, pleasant, and cheerful. The staff is 100% helpful in ALL areas. There is always a nurse(s) on duty and the in house doctor is very good and attentive. Check out the meals...they are top notch!! Heartfields is home!!

From our first encounter with Heartfields at Easton in 2016, we were encouraged that we had found a very caring community for our uncle. Melissa Boudrie, the marketing director, later told us that our uncle was her first admission at her new job. Because we were bringing him from the Midwest to Easton, we needed some special accommodations: the room needed to be furnished with at least a bed and essentials, and an after-hours arrival was necessary. Without exception and very generously, Melissa took care of everything down to the last detail, even hanging the towels in the bathroom herself. In the intervening years, we were further encouraged by the loving care that we observed in all the staff, from the front desk to the nurse, the doctor, the housekeepers, the aides, chef, cooks, and activity director. It was clear that the staff viewed their roles as more than just a job. That devotion was even more evident when our uncle passed away in the midst of a pandemic from natural causes. Our uncle was well cared for in his last hours, and Melissa and Vivian packed his belongings for us to pick up curbside. The fact that none of the residents contracted the virus in the first seven months of 2020 is a testament to the protocols that were established and followed by the administration and staff of Heartfields at Easton. Their use of virtual and social distance meetings between residents and their families were especially appreciated in that difficult time. Where do I even begin. Never in a million years would I have thought that we would not be able to care for our father! Then that time came and it was not safe or fair for him to stay at home by himself. Our home was not conducive for him to come with us and so we started our search! While there were other great places from the outside, only one separated themselves from the rest. Heartfields lived and lives up to their name and that is Heart! The staff are not just staff. They love their residence and make their lives wonderful and show joy and love! Can I just say that I love the staff! Many have become my friends.. Sallie, Vivian, Regina, Jan, Melissa, Justina, Olivia, Carrie, and too many that I cannot remember their names at the moment but if I gave it time their names would come to me. Your love never went in noticed and you were not only a support to my Dad, his companion, but also to me and my family. You are not only friends but also family now! As a back note my Dad came in pretty sick and also dying, but your all rose to the occasion and loved and cared well! I cried on many of your shoulders and that meant the world to me. Than my Dad got better for a season and he also felt the love and care, from foot massages and spa baths, companionship and love. He loved his time there! After 9 great month, things changed and you still rose to the occasion, with food for us, a crying shoulder, and coming to love on our Dad until his final breath. Thank you seems like a word not worth enough for all you have done for my Dad and us! When we wanted to do our visitation there you were thrilled and provided time, cookies, drinks and my Dads favorite ice cream. Over and above is all I can say! The residence also were amazing and also have been a great support to my Dad and is. I have so many new friends and even though my Dad is in a better place, I will continue to visit my friend there as they are now my family! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Chesapeake Women's Network of Talbot County hosted our March breakfast meeting at HeartFields and the chef prepared a beautiful spread with a wide variety of fresh fruits, pastries, granola, yogurt, coffee and juices. The facility was lovely, very clean, beautifully decorated and the staff was very friendly.

Heartfield's took great care of my mother for 4 1/2 years, almost all of which was spent in the Alzheimer's unit, bridge to recovery...during those years, I moved from Maryland to Florida, so I just moved my mother down here so i could see her during whatever time she has left...but a special shout out to Sally T. who took a special interest in my mom and undoubtedly made her time there special...I highly recommend Heartfield's and their wonderful staff.

When complications arise, the communication is excellent and the issue is always resolved expeditiously. Our family went from many sleepless nights and worry to 100% security that mom's needs will be met with love and care. My husband and I have visited HeartFields 4 times throughout the past year as we await the sale of our home. We look forward to my Mom living in the memory care area of the facility. When your parents can no longer take care of themselves with their daily care, it is so difficult to find a new home for them where they will be taken care of and you will not have to worry bout them. Eight years ago my dad passed away, and we had to find a place for my mom , Trudy Lang, to live. We looked at places in Easton and felt Heartfields was the best fit for her. It was very emotionally frustrating in the beginning because mom wanted to go home. After she got to know the other residents and the people who worked at Heartfields, her heart was won over and she settled into a life of genuine loving care from the caregivers. She is now 97 years old and spends her days in a wheelchair but truthfully mom is never in her room during the mornings. They take her to activities, meals and anything that is going on that day. What words can I use to grab your attention and make you understand what amazing, loving, tender care your loved one will receive 24-7 at Heartfields. Genuine care from the heart. When I go to visit, mom is always neat and clean, her room is always clean and she always has a smile on her face. If there is every a medical issue, a nurse calls me immediately so I know what is going on. All day mom receives hugs of love from the caregivers which is what her heart needs at this time in her life. Mom loves her Lord, her family and friends and the people at Heartfields. What more can I say? I used to worry about her but no more because I know that my mom is getting better care than I could every give her. It's been about 3 years since my mother made the decision to make a change. Things were just becoming more difficult to manage on her own and we anticipated it was only going to get harder. After looking at all the options in and around Easton, we decide Heartfields offered everything she needed. We also looked at what she might need in the future and we also looked into home care. With home care, the social aspect could never be matched, along with the 24 hour full staff so that was a huge factor in the decision. There are a variety of activities available and a resident can choose to participate in all of them or just pick the ones they enjoy. Jan, the activities director is amazing and plans for all ability levels so nobody is left out. The planned outings are always fun and special occasions are always celebrated. I must say, as a child of a resident, I am thrilled with the choice and with the staff. Everyone on the team treats each resident, and each other, with respect and kindness. They are always quick with a smile and always available to help. I also feel very secure knowing the building is extremely well maintained and managed. Steven does an amazing job on site and as been known to stop by my mother's room for a golf tournament update and a quick hello. From the top down, it's a great place and my mother has really embraced her new lifestyle. She's happy so I am happy. It's pretty simple.

Our family is very pleased because of the genuine and healthy care Mom receives. Every time I have visited, I experience a caring staff, attention to service for the resident, cleanliness, and most of all a friendly and personable atmosphere. Melissa Boudrie, the Caregivers, activities and nursing staff, maintenance and kitchen personnel all seem to really like the work they do and serving Moms social and physical needs. In the relatively short amount of time mom has been there, loving and caring relationships have been established. We are so thankful to Melissa and the caring staff at HeartFields.

I toured Heartfields with my father-in-law about a month ago. He is one of those people who has a big heart, but he doesnt always let you see it (And dont watch the news with him)… : ) Anyway, we were going through the facility (I was asking a million questions), and the place has everything – caring staff, good food, nice residents, etc. But the thing that made him beam, and say to me, This place is for me! was when a lady (Vivian, I think) came over and wrapped her welcoming, loving arms around him. It surprised him, but I wish I took a picture, because he has no idea just how happy and handsome he looked!

The small unit allows residents to feel well taken care of .Their family feel fortunate to have family members in a safe, secure environment. The head of nursing was the same person for both family members. -A testament to the organization to keep personnel. Have heard positive comments from many others in the Easton community.

I have had wonderful experiences with Heartfields of Easton. My great aunt lived there for several years and was treated by various devoted nurses and other staff that were dedicated to ensuring her best care. My family received Christmas cards with her picture and were always invited to join the community for holidays. When my grandmother lived there some years later, the current executive director had just joined the community. She was very supportive and kind when her arrival coincided with my grandmothers passing. She spoke with me in her office for a very long time and even accompanied me to visit with her one last time. I would recommend Heartfields to anyone looking to help with their loved ones transition to an excellent senior living establishment.

While everyone that I dealt with at Heartfields was caring, helpful, and professional, there are three notable staff members (Kelly Johnson, Executive Director - Michelle Friend, Business Office Manager - Melissa Boudrie, Director of Sales and Marketing) that I had the most interaction with and they deserve accolades for the incredible level of service that we experienced. They were always willing to help and and constantly went above and beyond to insure the highest level of satisfaction. Heartfields Assisted Living and Dementia Facility is second to none! I travelled far and wide to find the BEST for our Nana and Heartfields in Easton MD was and still is unsurpassed! The tasteful and classy decor add to the warm ambiance. The amazing high level restaurant meals are consistent. The bright colors in BTR and attention to detail throughout lift up spirits! And best of all is the staff. Sally Twinam in BTR, Chef Steve, Patti the nurse and the compassionate, professional, wise, well trained and intuitive under-staff are excellent. Their respectful, genuine and honest ways are refreshing and highly effective in accomplishing superior care, ensuring well being for Nana and bring joys to her heart, as well as to each resident, and mine, too! Nana has been there for years, they handle situations openly, directly and with accurate care. I cant rate them any more highly. If you need a Great place, you have found it at Heartfields. In May 2017 Chef Steve had left and the meals were not good. I dont want to explain it all. However, now in January 2018, BJ and Frisby have consistently been preparing Excellent, tasty, creative, made from scratch, wholesome, healthy, abundant, beautiful presentation, wide variety and colorful meals like we were all used to! Congratulations to Heartfields for keeping their TOP standards for caring for each and every resident!

Excellent Place We moved my mom to the memory care unit approximately six months ago and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention she receives!! All the employees are kind and caring. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. Really can't say enough good things about the people and the place!!!
