When my mom's memory issues began progressing rapidly, our family realized we needed help. We were fortunate to have been referred by many people in the community to consider assisted living at Candle Light Cove for mom. I remember walking in for our visit. The entrance was beautiful and we were greeted so warmly by every single person we encountered. There was so much natural light and everything was absolutely spotless. Every hallway and every room smelled fresh and clean. We decided immediately that this would be a wonderful place for our mom. Our mom has been living at Candle Light Cove for about 10 months and her care has been stellar. She has made new friends, enjoyed delicious food, sleeps well and safely. Her room is kept spotless, her laundry is always done, folded and put away. All of the kind nurses have patently taken care of her every single need and also kindly dealt with my endless questions and concerns as well. Whenever I visit, I feel as if I am walking into a beautiful home with amazing people, who are constantly working together for the comfort of everyone who lives there. Mom is kept as busy as she would like to be with various games, activities, crafts, concerts and outings too. Without a doubt, we know we have made the right decision for our mom. Thank you to everyone at Candle Light Cove for finding a way to provide so much care for so many sweet and wonderful residents and for giving everyone the dignity they so truly deserve.

CLC is has a smaller, more family atmosphere than other local AL-ALZ communities. The staff -- some of whom have worked there for more than 10 years -- are very dedicated to the residents and they also go out of their way to include family and friends in the life of the community. I know of several cases in which someone living in another AL-ALZ community has been moved to CLC because of its less institutional feel, the attractiveness of the buildings and grounds, in-town location, and the warmth and professionalism of the staff -- management, nursing, caregivers, kitchen, housekeeping, etc. (Caveat: I worked there for several years but that was more than five years ago, before the present management took over, which in my observation is even better than when I was there.)

They are an amazing assisted living community and we say every day how grateful we are that our mother is living there!

We moved here from out-of-state 2 1-2 years ago. Before deciding where to live we explored assisted living facilities for my (now 97) year old mother. From the first we thought this would be the best place for her. They were expanding to twice their original size, so it seemed theyd have room for Mom and new rooms and equipment. Since we moved her in, weve been impressed by the cleanliness of the place at all times. The people who work there, starting with the management staff, the nurses and throughout the workforce, are kind, caring, people who do their best for the residents and their families. It wasnt the least expensive place but isnt the most expensive either. The managers try to keep any price increases to a minimum, while still providing well for their residents. Weve been very pleased with our choice.

If I could give Candle Light Cove 10 stars I would. It is beautiful and has the most wonderful staff. Everyone there is kind and caring, and they have gone out of their way to be kind to my father. They have attentive and intuitive care-givers, wonderfully creative activity directors, and astute and experienced nurses. The administration has been extremely helpful to our family in the necessary transitions for my father's care. You can not go wrong placing a loved one in their care.

Candle Light Cove is an answer to our prayers. This place is one that you do not want to miss. The level of care is Outstanding. Food is top notch and decor is a one not to be missed. My Aunts behavior isnt a problem anymore, she socializes with the residents, eats three meals a day which she wasnt eating regular meals prior to our moving her from the other Assistant Living location. Everything has improved across the board within one month of her admission into Candle Light Cove Life Stories. Dont miss this one. Its nested in a corner off W Earle Ave in Easton Maryland right after you pass the hospital. Our Aunt was at an Assistant Living facility in the area. We became aware from our visits that she needed more assistant. In October of 2017 we made a verbal and written request to increase her level of care. As time went on within two months her mental state started to decline and her physical condition wasnt looking good either. It was recommended that we move her to the other side of the operation that cared for residents with dementia. Of course as family members at first you dont think your loved one needs that type of care initially. We took the suggestion to heart and visited the Memory Care Unit. Still not certain she was ready for the move we decided to tour another memory care facility in the area. Candle Light Cove was the answer to our prayers. Not only was their memory care units divided into separate levels of care according to the stages of the dementia. We now had at least two level of care choices. We were not left with a feeling of reaching the end of our loved ones life journey. The journey is just beginning. We were glad that our Aunts assessment qualified her for memory care unit 1/2. Its great to know that theres a memory care unit on the eastern shore that have two memory care units at the same location. Memory care unit 1/2 & 3/4.

Love CLC. All the staff is caring and friendly. Beautiful surroundings, great food and activities. My mom has done so well since coming there to live. She is happy and content there and feels like she belongs. It really has helped my stress level, knowing she has so many great people looking out for her.

Candle Light Cove is an intimate setting in Easton. It is a convenient location and the current expansion is bringing wonderful new amenities to the community. Focused approach on care and independence for senior living residents and those who need more targeted memory care services. I am 100% comfortable with family, friends and relatives living there.
