Something no one had done before. She was caring and kind and HELPFUL. i was ready to go home and she single handedly made that happen in 1 day. Jeanette thank you for all you did for me yesterday. You worked so hard to help me get home. It was obvious you care about people and really really want to help! If I could give you 10 stars I would I am so grateful. I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care provided to my Gmom during her time at Lorien Bel Air. The compassion, kindness, and professionalism demonstrated by the entire staff was truly remarkable. What sets Lorien Bel Air apart is the genuine concern and dedication of the caregivers. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that her well-being and comfort were top priority. Every staff member, from the nurses and aides, dining and activities teams, to laundry and maintenance staff, treated my Gmom with respect and dignity. They took the time to get to know her as an individual, learning about her preferences and interests. The care team kept our family updated and involved every step of the way, ensuring we were always aware of any changes. Even in the face of the inevitable, the compassion and support extended to both my Gmom and our family is immeasurable. The care and kindness shown in her final days is something we will always be grateful for. Thank you to the entire Lorien Bel Air team for all that you do. Knowing that my Gmom was in such capable & caring hands brought us all such comfort.

My mother has been a resident at Lorien Bel Air for 2 years. I can honestly say that she has received excellent care. Besides getting wonderful medical care, she thoroughly enjoys all the activities that are offered through the amazing activities department. Amy and her staff work so hard to provide stimulating activities for the residents. They always encourage family members to participate whenever possible. My mom's favorite activity is Bingo. Winners get coupons which can be used to buy items from the store located on the second floor. I always go to exercise class and Happy Hour on Friday afternoons. There are always special events scheduled such as Octoberfest and Trunk or Treat. These events are schedule in the evening so that family members can attend. Another activity that is offered is Relaxation & Aroma Therapy which is held every Thursday afternoon after a music program. Mariann

My grandmother stays at Lorien Bel Air ever year for respite while we are on vacation. She gets great care, she loves the home style food, and she really enjoys the activities. There is no other place I would take her to stay.

My mother-in-law was at Lorien for a little over a year and a half in their assisted living. It was clean, inviting, and well-maintained. Dining room was lovely and had food choices that satisfied. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive to my mother-in-law's needs. Staff knew her well we're always courteous , respectful, and kind. We were very pleased with our experiences there, and have no complaints.

My father is receiving care at the Lorien and he has dementia. He loves all the activities and they even have planned activities on the weekend which is great as he likes to keep busy. Staff does a good job keeping the residents and families engaged I feel. He loves the staff and he feels cared for. My family appreciates all that Lorien does for him

I think Lorien does a great job. My grandmother has been in the Bel Air facility for two years. They have been helpful and professional. The staff assisted with paperwork to help with the financial part of her care. Whenever I want to pick her up, I can just call ahead. She is always dressed and ready to go. Since she has been in the facility she hasn't had one bedsore or any other illnesses often associated with long term care. Whenever I need something from the staff, they respond immediately and politely. I appreciate this facility and how they are helping during this time.

My mom was placed at Lorian Bel Air after a fall that caused her to fracture her hip. Due to the surgery she received she could not put any weight on the leg for 4 weeks. During that time the staff attended to her needs which we would not have been able to do at home. They were kind and caring to her and any issues were immediately addressed. The PT and OT that she received during her stay and especially in the last 2 weeks of her stay really helped her to be able to live almost independently upon returning to her home. Thank you for helping my mom get back to her independent life.

The Lorien Bel Air has been great to work with from initial communication to the end of the stay. The staff was extremely helpful in getting us set up and answering all our questions leading up to the stay. Our father who has had multiple strokes and has aphasia did a 2 week respite care stay while our family went on vacation. Knowing he was being taken care of was a huge relief and allowed for us to enjoy our time away. Each time we have talked to him he raves about the care (and food) he has been receiving. He is pretty picky when it comes to his care givers and what he eats so to not have a single complaint demonstrates how great the experience was for all of us. Will definitely use the Lorien again in the future.

Beyond happy with Lorien's team; from the nurses in the rehab area, social work, accounting office, and beyond amazing support from the assisted living team led by Gina. My mothers transition was not an easy one for any of us and the team at Lorien Bel Air made it smooth and supportive. Thank you to all of you!

Sonya, Victor were the best aids ever. They were so calm, thoughtful and compastion. Elana, the housekeeper, was so nice and accomodating, OT. Kim. was so nice and supplied me with lots of helpful items. PT. Ina, was very compasionate and understanding. Ann, the nurse. took alot of abuse from my roommate. She didn't deserve that. Stephen. nurse, was very nice and helpful to me. Sonya, Victor and Elana deserve a raise.

I recently got the opportunity to go in and work at Lorien for a couple days- and I know from speaking to team members that work there, they Really Care about their patients. It is Very genuine; and this facility is beautiful, safe, and you are greeted warmly. Not only odo the staff make you feel comfortable; but the residents are absolutely incredible people as well. I will be going back to volunteer with our son; and continue to visit and see the wonderful team members and the kind and happy residents!! Lisa, Elaine, Molly, Kelly, Victor, Vanessa, Ricky, Erin and Dolores are absolutely wonderful wonderful nurses that I would be grateful to have caring for one of my family members. I am really looking forward to being able to volunteer for art classes ❤️ I truly just want to help the team members because they are working Very hard to make sure to residents are very well cared for. I attempted night shift again; and I am just not cut out for it anymore! They are amazing; and Jess, the Director of Nursing, is absolutely wonderful. I’m looking forward to my family and I coming in and just being able to spend time and gain wisdom from our elderly.

Lorien is an awesome facility. My father has been a resident for several years now and has always gotten top notch care. The entire staff has been a pleasure to work with, especially at this time when no one in the family has been able to visit. They have accommodated all of our requests for Facetime and, or Skype and we have also had window visits. In these difficult times it is nice to know that my Dad is being well cared for in our absence.

Employees are great. They care. They are doing their jobs plus more. They are handling the Coronavirus virus well. Residents are kept intheir rooms but are checked several times a day. 3 meals are brought to their rooms each day.Thanks.Thanks.Thanks ❤

Loved this place! My grandmother was here for several weeks and they were wonderful. Always welcoming no matter the time day or night for visits. Always had some event planned and the nurses were very attentive and personable! She enjoyed her stay .

Excellent nursing care the three weeks I was there. I had several nursing assistants that went far beyond my expectations of keeping my physical self and my mental self up and moving and as cheerful as I could be under my circumstances. Some of the food was excellent, some not. Overall they did accommodate my wants as much as possible. The physical therapy and occupational therapy team was excellent. When I got there from my surgery I was still unable to do many of the basic self care requirements. When I was discharged to home there was an amazing improvement in my walking, strength and endurance.
