I brought my Grace Classical Academy grammar school choir to sing for some of the residents today. The facility is beautiful and those working today were friendly and helpful as we got ready to do our program.

Always clean and pretty environment. Always nice front desk staff. Too bad it’s so expensive. The resident I visit regularly complains about the rent increases and the little things she now pays for that she thinks should be included. It’s getting unmanageable for her to stay there for possibly the rest of her life.

Andy Anderson, Executive Director and the entire team has done a great job at keeping the residents safe. For that alone, we are so grateful because my 88 yr old Mom lives there and they have also looked out for her too during COVID19 because my Dad passed away of natural causes back in May.

My Mom has been a resident of Brightview Avondell for more than 4 years. She only recently moved from independent living to assisted living. She has participated in numerous activities over the years, including Wi bowling, bingo, attending musical programs, and her favorite happy hour. She took advantage of transportation to shopping and medical appointments. And shes made many new friends. When the need arose to move to assisted living, the fact that she remained in the same familiar building and is able to see her friends makes all the difference. All of the Avondell associates are warm, friendly and very caring. They greet residents by name and are most attentive to their needs. Brightview Avondell is a wonderful place to live.

My mother has lived at Brightview Avondell for a year and a half. I can not say enough about the associates and the administrator Andy. They are very caring and respectful to all of the residence and their families. They go out of their way to accomodate any needs. They have done an amazing job keeping everyone safe and informed throughout COVID 19.

We have been so grateful to have this beautiful place for my mother to continue to live independently. The management and staff treat the residents like family and provide many opportunities for residents to be active and engaged. During this crazy year of 2020, Brightview Avondell has taken particular care to insure my mothers and the other residents safety, with great success. My mother has lived at Avondell almost since it opened over 10 years ago. We have been very impressed by the quality of the facilities, by the activities that are available to the residents, by the food, and by the care and attention everyone is given by the staff. Its been a wonderful place for her to live. More recently, the careful protective measures taken during the pandemic have kept everyone safe. The staff have maintained a remarkable balance between safety and allowing residents to have some limited contact with their families and with each other. I could not recommend it more highly.

Brightview has been a wonderful experience for our Mom and her family. During these trying covid times we have not worried about Mom. They kept Mom entertained during the worst of it. Meals are brought up to her room when she is unable to go to the very nice dining room. Their protocol set up has been easy to understand and follow. The management sends a weekly update to family members. It was a hard decision to sell our family home and Mom move, but we all feel it was for the best. Yes it is expensive but not having to worry everyday she has fallen and no one knows is worth every penny. Thank you to Andy and his wonderful staff. The Boyer family is very pleased with how you have handled this crisis.

They have taken care of my dad (94), my grandmother in law (passed at 101 3-4,) and great aunt( passed at 100.) They do an amazing job, and have gone up and above whats expected. The staff all care about the residents. I cant say enough good things about their team. Big shout out to Joanne Driver! She has a great understanding of my father and his medical concerns and history. My dad loves everyone, the happy hours, facilities and activities

We have been extremely happy with the experience my grandmother has had at Avondell over the past few yew years. Never more so, however, than during this COVID 19 outbreak. The staff has worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and happiness of all of the residents. While this has been a very difficult time, weve been able to remain in regular communication and are comforted knowing she is still happy there.

Brightview Avondell was excellent and a very nice place that was very full of activities, and it was nice and clean. The activities were phenomenal and it was a thing we were looking for. The staff was nice. The rooms were very clean, and everything was up to date. The meals were included and I love their security system. They had a craft room, sewing, and a choir group. It was very pricey.

My mother has lived there for several years. The facility is beautiful and the staff is beyond caring. My mother is busier than she has been in years, with friends and activities that suit her. Its like living on a luxury cruise ship!

My mother has lived there for eight years. It's kind of like going to a country club is how I described it when I first went there. It's wonderful because it's not too big. The staff learns all the residents names. If you don't come down to dinner they will call or come check on you. I really just can't say enough good things about Avondell. There are endless activities if you want to be doing something all the time there's always something to do. Beautiful indoor pool beautiful gym. My mother's doctor comes right there she doesn't have to go anywhere. Pharmacy delivers her medicines. I think the only hard part for us will be when we can't afford assisted-living for my mother downstairs if she were to need it. The rent does go up every year. If you have the money it is definitely the place to be .

I call Brightview Avondell the country club of independent living. They have everything, but they're very expensive. It's very impressive. They have three dining rooms, where you order off of a menu, and have table service, and there's a dining area that is casual where you can get snacks and drinks anytime of the day. They have an exercise room, a heated swimming pool, putting green, walking trails, and a library. I only met Karen who was the community sales director and she introduced me to several other people. When I entered the facility, the people at the front desk were very attentive and polite. I didn't meet a lot of people, but the ones I did meet were top staff and very good. I viewed quite a few rooms and everything looked very clean and up-to-date. I was informed that they're in the process of upgrading some of the facilities, but they're really almost unnecessary to upgrade.

My uncle has been at BrightView for severe months. It is a beautiful facility and the staff are the greatest. We celebrated his 100th birthday this past weekend and it was great. We are so happy that he is living in a facility where they really care. Thank you Avondale.

My grandfather has been at Avondell for years and he loves it! The community and the atmosphere is fantastic. There are so many activities and events that we sometimes joke that he is living in a resort! My grandfather chooses to fully engage in the community and loves it, but it would be totally accaptable to live quietly there if that is your perogative. The staff is supportive, friendly, and they genuinely care about the residence. You can feel the warmth when you walk in the doors.
