Denise Bonugli, is the key concierge at Aviva, and she is the lifeblood of the place. Her warmth, energy, incredible worth ethic and ability to manage any situation that comes across her desk is nothing short of extraordinary. We went for a tour today. Denise Bonugli showed us around the community. She was very impressive! She knows the residents, and their family members, all by name. Many of whom, stopped us during the tour to greet her and even give her hugs. Within a matter of five minutes, while we waited to tour, we observed Denise take genuine interest in someone calling to find out more about Aviva, help a current resident who walked by, address a maintenance issue in a resident room, and provide assistance to several directors, all the while with a smile and grace. Our impression of Aviva started and ended with Denise - what an exceptional lady!

The Key Concierge, Denise, is a friendly, helpful, energetic presence at Aviva who really makes residents and families feel part of the community. From her early morning greetings in the dining room, to covering all types of requests at the Concierge Desk - she handles it all with ease and positivity. The Activities Staff are also top-notch - really taking the time to get to know the residents and understand what they enjoy. Ashley and Caroline have created numerous activities that keep residents happy and active! Ron is a "jack of all trades" as well from calling BINGO, to pouring drinks for social hour, to driving the residents all over town - always with a big smile. The Dining Room staff is also amazing in how they get to know the residents' "usual orders" as well as their dislikes - it's touching to see how they care for the well-being of every resident, as well. Housekeeping, Nursing, and Aides are also wonderful! Overall - it's a great community and fun atmosphere. My parents have been very happy here for the last three and a half years, and look forward to many more.

My parents have lived at Aviva Country Club Heights for over 5 years, and I live nearby and am in the building very often. As everyone is commenting, Denise is super friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Ashley, Carolyn and Ron run the activities and are highly connected with the residents. Really most all the staff” in the business office, the dining hall, the nurses, aids, maintenance and housekeeping-- are responsive, caring, and treat the residents with respect. The building is well lit and open and inviting, with nice common spaces and a beautiful dining room overlooking a golf course. It has a variety of sizes of apartments, all with big windows and good lighting. It is also kept very clean. There are numerous activities each day as well as a daily social gathering, sometimes with entertainment. In addition to the attentive staff, there is professional PT, OT, and visiting nurse services in the building by an outside vendor, and they provide excellent care. My parents relocated here from out of state and have been touched by the interconnectedness of the staff and other residents. They are also impressed that family members are in and out of the building all the time, contributing to the positive energy there. One point to consider for people who are looking for a residence but don't currently need assistance: the fact that it is an assisted living means that if they need help here and there, it is readily available. And if the need for regular assistance arises, that is provided in the current apartment, unlike residences that have designated independent vs assisted living areas.

Don't kid yourself: no long-term care facility is perfect. But I am extremely happy with Aviva, where my mother has transitioned from assisted living to memory care. If there's an issue, tell them and they will fix it. The aids are friendly and eager to please, even though their jobs can be very difficult. Rasha, who directs the memory care unit, is thoughtful, responsive, and on the ball.

I had the opportunity to help a long time family friend research and find a new assisted living home. She is a soon to be 99 year old lady who has been living in another residence for five years and was looking for a new adventure and a chance to enjoy the remaining years of her healthy life. She's vibrant, friendly and very caring to those she meets. We made an appointment and met with Kristen Duggan(sales director) and Brian Patterson(executive director). They truly embraced my friend with joy and a positive energy that made her and I feel most welcomed. We toured the apartments.The apartments are spacious and very updated and beautiful. We had a delicious lunch in the dining room, where the staff was more than attentive. The decor at Aviva, the cleanliness, the staff including the lovely woman Denise that greeted us at the desk was just wonderful.We knew immediately she wanted to move there. The process was very smooth with their help, advice, and recommendations. I truly am very happy to say that my sweet friend is in a lovely new home.

Recently, we had family members move into Aviva Country Club Heights in Woburn. Things are going very well. Prior to the move, the staff were happy to show us around and answer all questions. There was no hurry or pressure on their part. The move-in and orientation process were excellent. The team seems to all be on the same page, well-trained, and very welcoming. They all go out of their way to be helpful and kind. The place itself is very nice and well maintained. It’s easy for residents to get around and the other residents are very friendly. I ate there a few times. The everyday simple menu items are good, and the daily specials sometimes are very good. We’re pleased so far. Thanks everyone!

Even though it was a short stay, my father had a very good experience at Aviva. The staff is really amazing, Denise Bonugli at the front desk is always welcoming, friendly and helpful. She goes above and beyond for all of the residents and their families. Ashley does a wonderful job with activities planning and execution. Ron and Caroline are both amazing and care so much for each resident. Caroline works hard to ensure that everyone has wonderful seasonal decorations and updated bulletin boards, etc. even when she stays way beyond her regular shift to get them done. The food service staff is also excellent and tries to be very accommodating. It would be even better if the nursing staff could actually help with medical needs but that is not the case, so be aware that assistance does not cover any nursing needs. Overall it is a wonderful fun & lively place and for the most part, residents seem very happy here.

I visit my aunt at Aviva often. Everyone I have met or talked with, are terrific. I can see the staff watches out for the residents, and care so much. When entering the building, the first person one see's is Denise. What a gem she is. Denise knows all the visitors, all the residents and all the staff. I moved my father to Aviva from out of state 5 months ago, and have been nothing but pleased and impressed by the staff, services and facilities. There's always something to do, thanks to the stellar Activities crew headed by Ashley and Ron. They, and their staff, make sure everyone is welcome and accommodated. The residents are invariably treated with patience and kindness as they embark on ax throwing, bingo, outings on the bus and more. Denise Bonugli at the front desk is the heart and soul of Aviva. She not only knows every resident by name, but also their family and friend's names. Her warmth, humor and kindness set the tone for the environment at Aviva. She's on top of every single thing, always stuffing Kleenex in my dad's pocket before I take him out (knowing he has a constant runny nose and always forgets Kleenex!). The staff at Aviva helped make a difficult move and adjustment as easy as possible for my dad. I especially appreciated their flexibility in making adjustments to his services and requirements as changes in his health occurred. I can not recommend Aviva Country Club Heights highly enough.

My mother has been living at Aviva for almost 2 years. In that time we had to move her from her apartment, where she was a little more independent, to the 2nd floor, where she receives much more assistance, due to mobility issues. Brian and crew were wonderful working with us to get this done. I want to specifically acknowledge Denise. She is the first person you see when you walk into Aviva. You are ALWAYS greeted with a warm welcome and her bright smile is the best greeting. I live an hour away and sometimes need assistance in reaching aides with requests or information about Mom. Denise is my initial contact and goes above and beyond to make sure all information is given to the proper person. I appreciate this so much and it gives me peace of mind that mom is in good hands. And she just doesn’t do this for my mom, but I see her treat residents and visitors with the same respect and kindness.

My parents have been living at AVIVA for less than a year and my family couldn't be happier. When I brought my father in for a our initial tour we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and an unparalleled sense of belonging. My dad immediately hit it off with Brian Patterson, who is not only the Executive Director, but he also teaches a few morning fitness classes @ Aviva. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every resident's needs are not just met, but exceeded. Whether it's maintenance requests, which my dad has had a few, special meal adjustments, or simply saying hello in the hallway, their dedication to exceptional service is evident. After the first week they moved in, my family was shocked how quickly they know every resident on a first name basis. Denise, at the front desk, is amazing. She not only knows the residents' names, she knows all the family visitors' names too! She always has a smile on her face and brings incredible attention to detail to her job. My parents have a pet dog who they adore and Denise keeps treats for her when they come in from long walks on the neighboring golf course. Moreover, the activities offered at Aviva Country Club Heights are nothing short of spectacular. They help new residents immediately feel welcomed which allows "newbies" to meet people in a relaxed unforced setting. From the brand new fitness center or renovated bar area for happy hours, to the Wii Bowling and Cornhole competitions, there's something for everyone to enjoy. In summary, Aviva Country Club Heights in Woburn, MA, is more than just a residential community”it's a haven of excellence. With its recent $1M+ renovations the facility feels like a luxury 5-star hotel. Its exceptional services, amazing staff, and vibrant sense of community sets the standard for assisted living. My siblings and I feel incredibly fortunate to call Aviva home for my parents and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Aviva Coutry Club heights is in the process of being renovated. My mother has been living here for 5 years and has had a wonderful experience. Denise at the front desk is one of the friendliest, most conscientious and has an AMAZING personality. Brian, the director is amazing and even works weekends to make sure everything is in great shape 24/7. Nancy the therapist is fabulous. Spends a lot of the with my mother!! The associates treat my mother like family!! Very caring. Especially Emmy!! Mary, one of the new nurses is a great addition!! Lucia is one of the hardest workers!! All the nurses are great. Janice in the dining room is fabulous!! Brian is also replacing my mother’s rug as he noticed it was needed. Thank you Aviva!!

They have restricted visits appropriately during the pandemic. However, they have been considerate by providing video and restricted in person visits using proper protocol. My grandmother moved in there about 1 year ago from the West coast. We knew this was the place from the moment we walked in (after seeing over 15 other assisted livings on both coasts). The staff is incredibly kind, enthusiastic and very accommodating. Her apartment is lovely and I always know if there's anything I need to know that is going on. This is my first experience with an assisted living and it's been great so far. I highly recommend it.
