Reviews of The Residence at Vinnin Square
July 2026
My dad was 94 when he moved into the Residence at Vinnin Square. He had fought moving from his home for years but thanks to the patience of Oasis Senior Advisor Sarah Colletti, he agreed to tour the Residence. In June 2025, he moved into Assisted Living there. At the Residence, he found friendship, enjoyable exercise, fun activities, and a wonderful girlfriend “ his 4th beautiful lady as he would expound to anyone who would listen. He was cognitively sound and liked to be active. The Residence at Vinnin Square enabled him to stay active in community. We really appreciated their care of his social and cognitive needs. The staff was genuinely caring and engaged, devoted and generous. His primary nurse, LeeAnn, did her best to attend to his many physical challenges while also trying to keep up with the needs of all of the other residents. She was supportive and direct with him, as well as with us, his children. His admitting nurse, Sharon, was also very nice and accommodating. The maintenance director Oscar was amazing. He went out of his way to help my dad convert his apartment into a home; keep it clean and safe for my dad’s diminishing eyesight; and to help us when the sad time came to empty his apartment. The Dining Room staff treated Dad as a regular’ and accommodated his dietary desires. We appreciated all of them very much. When my dad went into hospice, they all cared for us as well as for our dad. We are forever grateful! That being said, our advice to anyone considering an assisted living residence is to make sure you ask a lot of questions that include whether services are already in place and whether the staff is already trained to administer any medical services needed. When my dad toured the Residence, he really liked it. As a family, we were told that they could service his Ileostomy needs. It turned out that they aspired to include that in their services but had not yet trained their staff. This was a challenge for my dad who truly felt he knew better than the staff how to change his bags. This might have been true, except with his diminishing eyesight, he could not seal his bags well. But neither could the staff who were novices at changing ileostomy bags and hadn’t been told about their new responsibilities. This led to cleaning issues, additional expense, and unnecessary discomfort for my dad (and the staff because he would get frustrated). Everyone was trying hard, but the fact was that this was a new service that the Residence was dedicated to offering, and had oversold their familiarity, but wasn’t quite there yet.’ The Residence at Vinnin Square might be more adept at dealing with ileostomies now, but ask questions of wherever you are considering to ascertain their readiness and try to verify their claims. We wish to express our gratitude to the Residence at Vinnin Square “ to the front-desk greeters, LeeAnn, Sharon and the nurses, Oscar and the Maintenance Staff, the Activity and Dining Room staff, Henry and Josh who lead the team “ they create a community that we are so glad my dad could be a member of. Thank you! "Team Eddie"

My family and I are incredibly grateful for the care and compassion the staff show every single day. Moving a parent into assisted living is never easy, but from day one, they made my mom feel safe, respected, and truly at home. The team treats residents like family, and that peace of mind is priceless. I couldn’t recommend this community more highly. My mother is thriving mentally and physically and has regained a sense of identity and purpose. She is social and engaged and our phone calls and conversations are filled with excitement as she tells me about her activities, trips, the food, and the people she has met. I only wish that she had made the move sooner and had not waited so long. Thank you all for all that you do!!!

I’ve had a wonderful experience with The Residence at Vinnin Square. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, welcoming, and truly like home. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and always go out of their way to make residents feel comfortable and cared for. The Resident Care Director, Sharon, and the Wellness Nurse, LeeAnn, at The Residence at Vinnin Square are outstanding. They go above and beyond every day to make sure residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Their compassion and patience are never unnoticed. They take the time to listen, respond quickly to concerns, and treat everyone with kindness and respect. They are passionate about what they do, which creates a positive, reassuring atmosphere for both residents and families. The building itself is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, with plenty of natural light and inviting common areas. There are always engaging activities and events that keep residents active and socially connected, which really stand out. What impressed me most was the level of personalized care and attention given to each resident. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about the well-being and happiness of everyone who lives there. I would highly recommend The Residence at Vinnin Square to anyone looking for a supportive, safe, and uplifting community for themselves or a loved one.

My grandmother has lived here for a while now but as I live out of state this past Friday was the first time I was able to visit for Passover. What a wonderful job Mike and his team did. Passover is an important holiday to my family and I will be the first to admit that my older family members tend to be a bit demanding and picky about certain traditions but Mike handled everything with grace, kindness, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was fantastic for not just my family but all the other families there as well. This really stood out to me as the last place my grandmother lived did not have this kind of professional and caring people. The food was delicious and I left knowing my grandmother is in good hands.

I highly recommend the Residence at Vinnin Square. The staff at every level cared for and about my parents as if they were family.

The staff At this, Residence cared so deeply for both my mom and my dad They sought to provide comfort to our whole family outside of regular office hours They often mentioned that they treated my parents as if they were family, and I saw that in action I’m very grateful for this place

Our parents received the most caring support from the wonderful staff at Vinnin Square. We are forever grateful for the care they provided to our parents.
October 2025
My mother recently moved to The Residence at Vinnin Square. We are very happy with that decision. The Residence is a pleasure to enter, making us feel like we are visiting her both at home and in a beautiful resort at the same time. The front desk team is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Her room is perfect for her, and it is kept clean by a kind and dedicated staff, who also do her laundry, dispense her medications, and check in on her. Upon moving in, our family was invited to meet with each of the department directors to ensure a smooth transition and they have consistently remained helpful and available. Since moving in, mom is engaging in activities, receiving the care she requires, eating well, (with particular attention to her specific needs), and making friends. The Residence at Vinnin provides a positive, caring, warm, and supportive environment. The staff, which is more of a care team, has been communicative with us as a family, confirming for us that the decision to move mom to the Residence at Vinnin Square was the right one.

Our family member was a resident at this facility for over 3 years, beginning in the assisted living area and ultimately moving to memory care(Reflections). The facility itself is beautiful and well maintained, but it is the staff that really shines. Moving a loved one into memory care is never easy, but the staff(notably Darlene and Leanne) helped make the transition as stress free as possible. Any time there was any issue(a fall or supplies needed), I received a phone call from the Residence. The aides are compassionate , caring and respectful. I felt very confident that our loved one was in good hands during her stay there. Thank you all for the care that you provided.

I have found the care at the Residence to be very good. The aids are caring and very helpful. My wife, Gail, moved in there in early February of this year and has transitioned very well. She is in the memory unit creatively called "Reflections". Two different women have been in charge of this area. Roberta and Mandee and both have been excellent. The turnover is a bit concerting but I have confidence that Heidi and Susan will find another good person to fulfill this key position.I reccomend this facility to anyone needing such care.
