My Mom has been living at the Bertram House since December 2024. The staff are amazing, loving, friendly and helpful!!! The location is a very convenient for my family and I to visit her. It is a beautiful place to live!!

My Dad has been living at the Bertram House of Swampscott, Reminiscence Floor for 3 years now. My family has been so pleased with all aspects of his stay and care. The staff is so approachable and they are there for the long term. Turnover is very low, that means a lot to us and my Dad. They get to know him and understand how he needs to be communicated with his likes and dislikes and so much more. This clearly shows how well each employee is valued and respected by The Bertram House. We are kept up to date if he needs anything or if there are any concerns with his care/health. Tina Ebegbye, Director of Reminiscence Floor, Alli Conti, Care Director, Stacy Bonsang, Community Relations Director and front desk staff, Jodi, along with the many other employees that we have come to know and rely on to care for our Dad every day are really the best in their field. We looked at other larger facilities in the area, but landed on Bertram and would could not be more happy with our decision!

My 81 year old NYC sister, with quickly advancing Alzheimer's disease was at Bertram House for the last 6 months of her life. This was the 3rd local facility she was in because none were staffed sufficiently nor professionally for her needs. Bertram House had patient, professionally trained staff. She was treated with dignity and love. The food and housekeeping was above average. They watered her plants and kept her radio on her favorite stations. When the disease progressed to where more help was needed, they informed us and help make needed decisions. From the director of maintenance, food or nursing to the kitchen staff, everyone walked the halls and knew the residents. This place is a rarity, and the roaming sweet cats knew to choose who loved them and ignore the others!
