The Residence is a very pleasant place to live in. It is well kept, very clean with a nice decor. The meals are very good with many choices on the menu. The rooms are well appointed with bedroom, bathroom and kitchen facilities. There are a variety of activities during the day that exercise the mind as well as the body. I grew up in Shrewsbury so moving into Orchard Grove felt like coming home. I so appreciate the friendliness of staff and residents. Staff caters to individual needs. Activities include different exercises for age appropriate residents example stretching, small weights, yoga. Entertainment is always delightful including a sax player, illusionist,.and many more. Trips to restaurants, concerts and museums. There is always something to do or join if you wish. Needless to say I feel I chose an excellent place to call home!

The building is beautiful, while still feeling cozy with fireplaces and warm furnishings. Their menu is out of this world, and available to residents and their guests all day! We looked at many places for mum before choosing the residence at Orchard Grove. She was very upset at having to leave her house of 43 years, understandably, but with frequent falls and some memory loss starting, we needed her to be in a safe place. She has now been at the residence for a month and as she says "I still miss home and always will, but this is the next best thing to it" The staff (inc the managers, nursing, entertainment, food service, repair and cleaning etc) are all top notch. From the gorgeous apartment, getting to keep her cat, gourmet food, fabulous entertainment and lots of new friends and memories, we feel we have found the perfect setting for mum to thrive in. We cannot recommend the Orchards enough and are grateful such a fabulous place exists 🙂

Orchard Grove is exceptionally clean. The staff has the best interest of the resident and family always. They are activities 7 days a week to keep the residents active in the community. The food is great.

The residence at Orchard Grove is such a beautiful place. From the second I walked in the door, It felt cozy and warm. I’m at a number of staff members and they’re all extremely friendly and kind to their residents. We talked about different events that they offer, and it sounds like it’s a fun and active community. I had the pleasure of recently visiting this beautiful, vibrant community. Talk about first impressions! The lawn is well maintained with beautiful flowers and a beautiful walking trail for residents to enjoy. The receptionist greeted me with a beautiful smile. The Executive Director was very knowledgeable and resourceful. I got to observe very active residents, laughing, engaging in conversations with peers and participating in a flower arranging activity, for Mother’s Day celebration. The food is delicious and presented well. My steak salad was excellent ; kudos to the culinary team. What a pleasant experience!! I highly recommend this community for your loved ones.

The Residence at Orchard Grove is such a beautiful residential senior living community. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the immaculate cleanliness and could feel the care that the team provides to their residents. On our tour, many of the front line staff made it a point to go out of their way and introduce themselves. I was impressed with their leadership team as they were very knowledgeable about the role they play in their respective departments. Food is very important to my loved one and we had one of the best lunches that we have had when touring senior living communities. We also had the chance to participate in making floral arrangements for Mother’s Day. We are beyond excited to be moving forward with our decision in choosing Orchard Grove, it really felt like a home.

Great staff. The Aides are always courteous and understanding. Very accommodating to my needs. The food is very good and the chefs are accommodating to my limited diet. They have let me have outdoor gatherings with my family and friends. Let us use the facilities grill to cook our food. Just and outstanding place to live. Have felt welcome from day one. Staff always listen’s, as I am handicapped and have more needs than most. extremely fortunate that my wife found this place for me to live.

I am a volunteer and sit and talk with residents at this assisted living location 2 days/week. I felt compelled when I saw the care and love of the staff and residence to write a quick review. The facility is immaculate and well maintained. The residence can participate in so many activities. Outside entertainment Is impressive and frequent. The staff are patient and kind and truly care. I had the pleasure of spending a day this week at Orchard Grove working with the Resident Engagement Director, Mary Beth. My experience was nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a strong sense of community that really stood out. The residents were my engaged during my entire visit, with plenty of activities that promoted vitality and connection. The management team was accessible and welcoming, and it was evident that they pride themselves on making sure that both residents and their families feel at home. The receptionist, Paula, greeted me with a friendly smile, setting the tone for my daylong visit. AMAZING!!! Our experiences with Orchard Grove have been absolutely WONDERFUL. The care and attention our mom receives every day and night, along with excellent protocols that allow for tailored adaptation, have helped her progress from a wheelchair to a walker and a corresponding level of independence in her own apartment. Everyone - EVERYONE - we’ve met within the Orchard Grove family has a friendly smile, a welcoming word, a helping hand, a solution to any issue, and they all exude a most positive attitude. Our mom is remarkably happy living in this community! For a notorious hard-to-please woman, it feels like a miracle that we’ve been blessed with finding such a wonderful new home for her.

The Residence at Orchard Grove is so lovely. I was impressed at how happy the residents there were and how active the facility is. When I visited, they had live music outside on the porch and also in the memory care unit. In the memory care unit all the residents were engaged in their environment and seemed quite happy. Really wonderful!

I am a jazz musician (Alto & Soprano Saxes & Clarinet) and feel so privileged every time I am invited by Mary Beth, a delightful and caring soul, to come back and play for everyone at The Residence at Orchard Grove: it is one of my favorite, if not the most favorite of mine to play: everyone always greets you with a warm and friendly smile: all are polite, courteous, professional and nothing is too much trouble: the decor and ambience in all areas and in every room speaks of elegance, class and are most exquisite: there is a level of excellence rarely found these days and yet it can be seen and felt throughout: there is a good feeling’ when one walks through those doors and it’s there because everyone genuinely cares. Omg I love this place my grandma lives there and the staff are amazing with her. they play fun games like keep it up with balloons and the residents just adore it!!! The reflections director always makes sure the residents have something fun to do and she is so nice. I definitely recommend!!! when I grow up I hope I can live there too!!!

We went to visit Orchard Grove just to see if it could be an option for my mother down the road. After meeting with Melissa, touring the warm, homey community, learning about the enrichment activities and meeting the rest of the caring staff, she put her application in for the next available unit. Melissa’s was so warm, caring and understood the issues seniors face as they age. She talked with my mother about what life would be like in this community. My mother saw an exciting new life filled with things she thought were over for her. She saw that moving into Orchard Grove was going to enhance her quality of life vs living at home alone, cooking and cleaning for herself. Since moving in, we can hardly catch my mother in her apartment as she has been welcomed by the other residents and immersed herself in the activities and enjoys the fabulous food she can order anytime of the day. This is truly a special place for someone looking for a senior living community.
