Wingate has been a blessing for my 97 year old mother. From Kristina at the front desk, who is one of the nicest people I've ever met, to the nursing staff who work very hard and efficiently. My mom has integrated well and is joining activities daily. Her rehab is going reasonably well and she seems happy which is my #1 goal.

Wingate assisted living has a nurse that has no care for people but for turning them around like objects to make money. Nirse director goes on the radio often and says: girls if you dont fix your clocking in time you wont get paid. She is brutal

Our experience at Wingate/Silverlake has been wonderful.My husband has received such great care here,the staff is marvelous they are amazing and all of them are such hard workers! The facility is very clean and beautifully landscaped. Everyone here is very patient and kind.

My mom was recently at Wingate for about 5 weeks after coming from another facility. I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they did to get her back to herself again! The entire staff went out of their way to make her stay there exceptional! I can’t thank them enough. Tri and Tammy did her PT and they were outstanding!! I highly recommend Wingate!!!

cannot say enough good things about the dementia care unit at Wingate. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a sense of comfort and reassurance. The staff here are more than just caregivers”they are truly compassionate individuals who treat residents with dignity, respect, and love.

The services and healthcare workers here are 75% better than when I was here before. And I want to mention those people Lucia Kathy and rose three lovely people who make you feel like you're at home. Peggy Colin and Alicia do a wonderful job caring for their patients. The food is 75% better more creative than it ever was.

I am VERY happy with the quality of care that I received at Wingate. They have been both respectful and attentive to my medical needs. That being said, I hope that I never NEED to patronize a nursing facility again.

Nursing, OT & PT staff are beyond 5 star. They are kind, compassionate, gentle, and overall a pleasure. I can not say enough about how their kindness expedited my recovery. Having prior experience with rehabs for family members Wingate surpassed my expectations and will be my go to prefernece going forward.

Overall I found Wingate to be exceptionally and exactly what a person needs for rehab. My nurse Peggy’s actions were exactly what was expected and needed. Would like to give credit to the occupational and physical therapists. They are very knowledgeable in their field.

Wonderful, caring and supportive are a few of the tributes I give to the staff at Wingate, specifically Oakwood. My brother was a patient there and despite his challenging symptoms , they responded with great care. Mary Mahoney RN was particularly aware of my brothers issues and responded with sensitivity and professionalism. I have two aunts who live in Elmwood. All the nurses and staff are very friendly and kind to my aunts and me. I really appreciate all they do to make them feel comfortable and loved.

Can’t say enough good things about Wingate. My mother was there for a month and everyone was a delight to work with. My mom felt very comfortable there and she made great progress through the therapy.

I have been a visitor to this facility several times. The staff is very friendly, the facility is spacious and always clean, and they have great activities for the residents such as the quarterly Paparazzi Accessories $5 Jewely shopping events.

My mother was at wingate for rehab after a hospital visit. The nurses and CNAs did very little to help her. She was ignored time and time again. Rehab?! Nothing was done to help her get up and walk. She soiled herself and got very little help or compassion. When she would press the button she would wait. If the button sound is not turned off it increases in pulse. I went to the nurses station and there were 8 people chatting and the bells going off all down the hall! I would not recommend wingate to anyone. She has been moved to another rehab facility.

My mom has been here for about 4 months.. started out in rehab and now in longterm. She was at another facility before she came here. That one was not good at all. Sent her here. It's a very clean facility, great activities dept, the rehab dept she was in was great. Keep in mind, i know everyone has their own experiences, but you gotta understand no place is perfect. Yes, this place could use more help. I think all nursing facilities are struggling to keep and get staff. The difference between where my mother was before and her here now is night and day.. My mom looks wonderful. Yes, she talks about going home sometimes, and maybe down the road give it a try, but I don't worry here like i did at the last place. I can sleep at night, i don't worry about her blood sugar, I don't worry about her falling, there has been some bumps with some staff for her, but it was quickly addressed and good now. I feel very comfortable for my mom to be here and appreciate everything the social worker and rest of the staff does for her.

I have to say moving my mother in law from the residence to skilled care for dementia and Alzheimer’s unit was scary and sad to me. Almost instantly my fears went away. The nurses on this unit are exceptional!!! This is a tough job and the care that they gave to my Mother in law and others was wonderful! I said to the admissions director Paula ( who is also fabulous) that this group of nurses are a rare find and I’m so happy that my mother in law had them to take care of her ! Thank you Wingate

I am recently finishing a two week stint of rehab because of an injury. I can say that I had no problem with administration/upper management. The nurses were exceptional as were the CNAS. OT/PT were amazing and had me up and as mobile as possible within a short time. The food isn't great, but, that was expected. I do think they are understaffed. I say this because most of the patients are elderly and need constant attention.
