The care team at The Wingate Residences (The Inn) provides extraordinary care. Led by Gloria Foberg RN, they adjust their care plans to each residents unique profile and engagement interests. My uncle would be challenging for any residential care team because he has absolutely zero interest in engaging with anyone! This facility has amazing opportunities for engagement with other residents and staff every day. Every resident we see looks happy. This team provides a safe and healthy environment for my Uncle while he is completely happy to be left to himself (with regular check-in’s by staff) and cared for when needed by this wonderful team.

My family members and I cannot make a negative comment about Wingate Living. The Directors, Managers, Nursing Staff and Maintenance Staff have assisted us through the entire process of choosing this Community for an older sibling. The entire staff was friendly, kind hearted and very supportive to our siblings needs. We are happy to say that our family member has adjusted well to the community and has enjoyed all the services that have been offered. Highly Recommended!

My mom moved into Wingate Assisted Living in Kingston, Mass, in August of 2025, and the positive change in her is wonderful to see. She’s happy and engaged. She has made many new friends and she’s busy attending various daily activities, going on weekly outings, enjoying the excellent variety of musical performers, and winding down at the nightly movies in the theatre. The management and staff, as well as the wellness staff, are all exceptional. I know my mom is being supported and well-taken care of.

I recently toured this assisted living community and was so impressed from start to finish. The building was spotless—everything looked clean, well-maintained, and inviting. You can really tell they take pride in keeping the environment comfortable and welcoming for residents. Joann, the sales representative who showed me around, was fantastic. She struck the perfect balance between being professional and down to earth—knowledgeable, kind, and easy to talk to. Looking for the right assisted living community can feel overwhelming, but Joann made the process so much easier by answering all my questions and helping me understand what to expect. Overall, it was a great experience, and I left feeling confident that this community truly cares about its residents and families. Highly recommend taking a tour if you’re considering assisted living!

I’ve felt so relieved to have my brother at Wingate Silver Lake. First at Independent side where Joe H was amazing. Then he was moved to Assisted living which is perfect for his needs. The staff is very attentive, caring and helpful. The facilities are beautiful and the activities plentiful.

My Aunt has had the privilege of calling Wingate home for the last six years beginning at the independent living and then at their assisted living. I can’t say enough about the care, support and compassion she experienced while there. From Chris Mele’s extensive knowledge of client care to Joe Hooper’s compassionate demeanor at Independent Living. From Gloria’s expertise and attention to detail as Wellness Director, to Alyssa’s sense of humor and bubbly personality, not to mention her driving skills. From Sue Snyder’s ability to always guide you in the right direction all things financial to Mike and Gary’s jack of all trades maintenance services, always with a smile. From delicious and nutritious meals prepared by the food service staff to the crack CNA staff visible in the halls always ready to help. And Charlie, Lynnette, Monica and Dana ready at the reception desk to be of service. Movies, entertainment, bingo, crafts and activities. Something for everyone.

My mother was a resident of The Inn at Wingate Kingston and then the skilled care facility, for about a year in total. She received excellent care at all times. Every member of the staff I interacted with was kind, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and some of them may, in my view, be eligible for sainthood. The buildings are bright, cheerful, clean and very well maintained. I offer my highest recommendation to anyone who is considering Wingate in Kingston.

I really like the whole neighborhood. The food is good and the activities are excellent! I love our creative activities, getting my hands dirty while cooking or painting is always a thrill. Joe is the greatest and we love him!

Wingate is a very special place where our Dad is living. He is very happy and very well cared for. The staff is like family to us and are very caring and attentive to his needs. The Manager Chris Mele has brought a magical feel to a beautiful setting for the residents. We are so grateful to have our Dad in Wingate’s assisted living care and visiting is so enjoyable along with activities so fun for all! Thank you so much Wingate!

I took my Dad on a tour of the Assisted Living facility at Wingate. Very clean, and well kept. Residents were friendly and there was lots of social activities to choose from. When we sat in the dining room for lunch we chose our meals from a menu… impressive. And the meal was very good. The apartments were nice as were the common areas. Unfortunately my Dad’s health took a sudden turn for the worse and he soon was in the Rehab facility at Wingate (which was right next door to the Assisted Living facility). A short time later his health deteriorated as his cancer came back with a vengeance and he transitioned to hospice care (still at Wingate). The staff took great care of Dad the short time he was there. I was able to visit and stay with him anytime. I’m just sorry he didn’t move to the Assisted Living facility sooner as I think he would have enjoyed life more there than being home with his limited and declining mobility.
