The Residence at Riverbend is a new rental community that has already established an outstanding reputation on the North Shore and beyond! Our dedication to an impeccable standard of quality in every aspect of the Riverbend lifestyle is evident in all we do; for instance, our programs are created in collaboration with Harvard Medical School, Brigham & Women’s’ Hospital, and McLean Hospital, our restaurant serves 3 meals daily anytime 7-7 a resident requests, and our higher licensure ensures nurses administer all medications in our secure Reflections Memory Care neighborhood. Come see our light, bright common areas and our extensive grounds that border the Ipswich River.
Our residents and their families are so pleased with our exceptional attentive service, amenities, and care. Within our private residential apartment homes, we offer both Independent (Retirement) Living and Assisted Living so no move is needed to change levels or to keep spouses at these different levels together.

We moved my dad here from South Carolina, so it was a big change, but he’s the happiest I’ve seen him in a long time. He feels comfortable and safe and it’s such a gift knowing that there are people looking out for him every day. His apartment is so cozy and clean and the rest of the property is bright, airy and beautiful. We always feel so welcome when we visit him (especially my two little kids, his grandkids) and are so grateful to have him so close.

A true gem! Riverbend is a beautiful facility. We feel so welcomed when we visit. Everyone goes above and beyond to assist you with any of your needs regarding your loved one. They go above and beyond to keep your LO safe, clean, comfortable, happy, engaged, well fed and loved! This is the first time in a year that we can take a breath knowing our LO is well cared for without us having to worry about or needing to being engaged in his day to day needs.

As difficult a decision as it was to move my parents into assisted living, I knew they would be well cared for here ... and that gives me peace of mind! I checked out and visited 6 different assisted living communities, but I knew immediately after stepping foot into Riverbend that this would be best for my parents. Everyone at Riverbend is so friendly, supportive, and responsive. The building looks and feels new, it is well kept, they offer many activities, and the food is very good. I really love the Residence at Riverbend!

Bringing a loved one to residential care is alway a huge moment for an entire family, and the staff at Riverbend from sales to the Reflections Neighborhood staff were patient, compassionate and professional in helping us make that transition. Starting in Sales with Tara Jalbert and Executive Director Anthony Fucaloro to Marnie Stasiuk, Arthur Digiacomo, and the staff of the Reflections Memory Care Neighborhood, we were walked through the entire process with great care, and attention to detail- especially in the midst of a pandemic! Their follow up and feedback has also been excellent. We are sleeping well knowing our Mom is content and well cared for in her new surroundings. I highly recommend the Residence at Riverbend in Ipswich.

The Residence at Riverbend in Ipswich has served a key role in the care and comfort of my 90 year old father. In July of 2020, after the sudden and unexpected loss of his wife of 52 years, it was time to find a place Dad. After six months we are thrilled to say that Anthony and his team have exceeded Dad's expectations. The care givers are exceptional, the food is 5 star, the engagement is varied and creative, the facilities are gorgeous and the attention to detail is one of a kind. The Residence at Riverbend was there for us in a time of need and continues to foster care and fulfillment for Dad, each and every day. To Anthony and all the wonderful care givers, thank you!!! Mom was one of the firsts residents at Riverbend. She went from living with her daughter to once again having her own place with the added benefit of friends and skilled care. The care workers became her friends too...so much so she tried to play matchmaker with grandchildren. Place is beautiful. Thanks to the Riverbend staff for their excellent treatment of our mom.

My mother lived there for 2 1/2 years and loved it. The staff was wonderful to her and she made many good friends with other residents, often dining together and socializing. With her children (myself included) living out of the area, it was a relief to know that she was in a safe and secure environment with an attentive staff.

My father was a resident in the memory care facility. They decided to move him from one room to another without notifying any of his family. When my mother arrived for a visit, she could not find him because he was moved. The director is very green and gets steamrolled by the director of care. The director of care has absolutely NO COMPASSION for any senior going through difficulties or a transition. The director of Riverbend shows no common sense. The facility is nice, and the care was good, but the management is not good. They had the most wonderful director of the memory care facility, but they would not let her do her job, and they drove her out of the facility. This director was so caring that she gave me her personal cell number in case I needed to reach her. She did not even know that they were moving my dad because they did it on her day off! They could have phoned her at the very least.

Recently I had the difficult task of aiding in the selection a living community in which to place my grandmother. After much research, my mother and I selected The Residence at Riverbend and it was such a great decision. The facility itself was lovely and had so many events going on. However, the staff namely Robin the care director, was so focused on my grandmother's care that I was ultimately put at ease. She was constantly in communication with me, answering any and all questions that I had. I am very grateful to the staff at The Residence at Riverbend for welcoming my grandmother to her new home.

We have had the best experience with The Residence at Riverbend. We recently placed my mother there and they have exceeded our expectations. First of all the director, Pamela was extremely friendly, professional, efficient and beyond helpful at helping us make the transition. She assisted us in making our choices and helping to calm any fears I or my mother had. The staff since our transition have been such a delight. They are friendly, professional and always are going the extra mile. Thank you to Pamela and her team for making such a hard life transition for us a pleasant experience. We are very happy with our decision and find comfort in such a fantastic team.

The Residence at Riverbend has been a wonderful experience for my father. The employees are extremely pleasant and helpful to residents as well as visitors. The food and dining environment is comparable to any fine dining establishment, complete with table linen and waitstaff. He has made many friends in a short amount of time and has enjoyed the various entertainment groups that perform for the residents. I would recommend the Residence at Riverbend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to live with plenty of options to be as active and social as you want but still have a room to call your own.
