My husband and I have started to think about what our next steps in life will be. We contacted Christian at Colonial Gardens for a tour. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were home! Christian was amazing. He arranged for us to visit one of the cottages as well as a couple of apartments inside the main facility. We immediately became interested in possibly making this our home. Christian has gone over and above for us. We still have to sell our home to be ready for this big change in our lives, but we are hopeful that soon we will be able to be a part of this fantastic community! I visited this distinguished site a month ago and had a very thorough tour of the facility. the things that stand out to me are: 1. The friendly vibe from everyone: The residents, the employees and the management. 2. The quality of the building, the furniture, the cleanliness of the entire facility inside, and out. 3.The variety of things to use for personal activities like the video theater, the game/pool room, the chapel and outdoor fire pits, paths, lush landscapes, scheduled activities etc., etc.,. It appears to be a delightful environment to live and grow old.

While looking for independent living arrangement for my parents, we visited and toured Colonial Gardens. The facility and grounds are beautiful and provide a great balance between being small enough to feel like you are not lost on the grounds to large enough to provide ample space. Having the ability to have a garage (with storage!) was a big plus. Activities and planned outings are tremendous and residents seem to be very engaged. Dining room is just fantastic. Staff was extremely helpful in getting the apartment ready to occupy. Stephanie and Christian were great and always made us feel like getting my parents settled in was their only priority. Would definitely recommend.

This is an amazing place for retired living. They have thought of everything! Delicious meals, great social activities, beautiful apartment designs! What else could you ask for? Well, when your family is in town - they can stay in the guest suites! Christian was a professional, knowledgeable tour guide! He thoughtfully asked all the right questions as we toured the establishment looking for a special place for my mom to live. We were very impressed. Thank you for your hospitality!

I had brought my mother from New Jersey, to live with my family 10 years ago. When the point in time arrived for her to need a safer place, we were able to find Colonial Gardens and get a tour. This is an excellent place for parents. I am very grateful for the staff, in particular.

Just had a wonderful tour of Colonial Gardens and was very impressed with the property. All the residents we came in contact with were very happy with the amenities that come with renting. They've thought of everything to make life enjoyable, and the residents gather in the public areas like old friends having a very good time.

I get to visit Colonial Gardens several times a year to share music. The staff is kind and caring and the atmosphere is charming and elegant. The dining room is my absolute favorite place to play! This community is stunning. Every visit I am delighted to see so many happy residents enjoying themselves whether it be during a happy hour or an enriching musical program. I give this a two. It is a great place, especially for those with mobility issues. Almost everybody here uses a walker, a bit hard for those of us who don’t but hey we are getting there and we are ok with it. But the manager here is from Texas and that’s a deep red state. He wore a tshirt once that said “Jesus” on it. I love Jesus too and I have a tee shirt like that but given the political climate in this country I don’t wear it. Too many Christians associate with a controversial political figure. I commented on it to [name removed] - then forgot about it. Days later he approached me in the dining room and had a political discussion mentioning abortion and homosexuality and how could I be a Christian if I supported those things. Then he called me a “nut”. That man belongs in Texas. I tearfully went back to my room. This place is beautiful and I recommend it but to have such a manager expressing those opinions to residents - to follow them out of the dining room to discuss something I had long forgotten! Two stars - would have been five

My husband and I assisted a close family friend with his move to Colonial Gardens. Prior to the move, our friend had been very depressed due to the death of his best friend and co-owner of his home. He was overwhelmed with the process of selling his home and moving into a new environment. The move to Colonial Gardens has turned out to be the best decision he could have made! It has transformed him back to the happy outgoing person we always knew. He has a beautiful apartment that he is very proud of, many new friends and a much better outlook on life in general. The facility is beautiful and so well taken care of. We can’t say enough about the caring and helpful staff that assisted him through the transition and continue to provide great service every day. The on-site management team is on duty 24/7 which provides a safe and secure feeling for the residents and their families. We highly recommend Colonial Gardens in Beverly!

Our Mother has been a resident at Colonial Gardens for five years and we thought we should write a review regarding her time there.I will start with her Apartment which she absolutely loves. She finds it very cozy an it has everything that she needs. She loves the fact that it is very quiet and peaceful all the time. We all love the fact that there is something for her to do all the time to keep busy. Over the years Mom has found many old and new friends to spend time with. The fact that they receive three meals a day is a great relief to all, as with age it gets harder to prepare meals.The food has been very good over the years. We find staff members very helpful for anything that has come up over the years. I don’t want to leave out the fact that they have transportation for Doctors visits, shopping and field trips. That’s great as Mom doesn’t drive. Keep up the great work at C.G. And Thank you.
