I have been living at Brookdale Senior Living about a year. And it feels like home. The staff are friendly and always willing to help . My apartment is well maintained and comfortable. The outdoor garden is my favorite spot (a gathering place for chatting and enjoying the many flowers. There are always activities from morning exercise to evening concert. I am happy to recommend Brookdale Senior Living to anyone looking for a vibrant, active independent living community.

My grandparents are current residents at this senior place and what they say about their server is bad. This man name Joe, Joey something like that, ABSOLUTELY makes them uncomfortable by the things he says. bad manners, bad tone, sometimes even attitude they complain. The other workers my grandparents mentioned they adore so much and wish Joe was as polite as them. Giving an extra star because everyone else is sweet and proper other than him.

I moved to Brookdale because my husband was in memory care and I wanted to be closer to him. To my surprise and joy, Brookdale became my new home in every sense of the word. I found new friends, new activities and peace of mind. It is a caring community where the residents are like family - they are caring and giving. I’m glad to be here.

My family and I could not be happier and more grateful with the Brookdale team in their care for my mother. She is in the memory care facility and the personal and emotional investment this team has in finding ways to ensure Mom is comfortable and engaged is special. Phil Potts (GM) has been a great partner for us over the many years she has been in their care and we appreciate his efforts spanning the economics of this process as well as healthcare options. Marketa Rosecka and her team who care for Mom and her fellow patients is no short of heroic. This work requires a special kind of person and Marketa's never-ending energy to give Mom the best environment with dignity (always with a smile) is a gift to my family. Thank you.

My mom has been there for nearly 2 years following a fall and rehab. The place is nice and clean and she enjoys the food and activities. The team, led by Scott, are fantastic and supportive. My Mom is safe and happy in the Brookdale community.

If you’re going through the process of finding the right place for a parent, you know how much it matters to actually feel good about where they end up. That’s been the case for us with Brookdale Cushing Park. My father lives there and, simply put, he’s really happy. That alone says a lot. What’s stood out most isn’t just the basics (which they do very well). It’s the people. The staff consistently show up with a level of care and attentiveness that feels genuine, not forced. They know the residents, they take the time, and it comes through in the little things day to day. The environment itself is exactly what you’d hope for. Clean, well kept, and safe. You walk in and it just feels right. No corners cut, no second guessing. Food is another pleasant surprise. It’s actually good, which I think anyone in this situation knows is not a given. But if I had to boil it down, it’s this: there’s a real sense that the people there care. And when it’s your parent, that’s everything. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone navigating this decision.

Great experience during evaluation, on-boarding, move-in, and initial residency period for my 89 year old mother in assisted living. Kaitlyn Johnson, sales counselor, did an excellent job educating us, answering questions, and guiding us through the registration and move-in processes. Brookdale Cushing is a clean welcoming facility with excellent dining, amenities, and activities. The staff has proven to be cheerful, responsive, and professional. My mother has transitioned well and is very happy with her care, connection with other residents, and activities. We are very happy with our decision and look forward to the good weather when she/we can enjoy the screen room, deck, outside patio, and walking paths of the surrounding park

I have lived at Brookdale Cushing Independent Living for just over 3 years. I have been content living here from the day I moved in.The building is bright and the residents and staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of different activities, great entertainment and a beautiful outdoor garden and park to enjoy relaxing or walking or both, add to this special place I call home.

Now that my brother is on Hospice the care in the Memory Care unit remains amazing. FaceTime (FT) for his family, who live hundreds of miles away, is very useful and the workers do their best to have him ready for FT which can be scheduled in very short time on the same day of request. Pretty location; not much interaction between c.n.a.'s and resident nor between nursing and resident. Lack of assessment skills on the part of nursing. Overall, disappointed. Reception can be abrupt, rude...a welcoming smile goes a long way.

If you are in search of senior care for a loved one, make sure you speak with Brookdale (I worked with Ashly Gaumond). She is extremely knowledgeable, caring and helpful. It was clear her main goal was to do what is best for the patient and if it isn't her property, she will tell you and make other suggestions.

Brookdale Cushing Park has done an excellent job of protecting their residents and associates during the Covid-19 pandemic. They have had a very minimal number of positive testings for the virus. I am especially happy for the weekly zoom calls with the families to update us on how our loved ones are doing. They are open to questions and suggestions at any time. These people have gone above and beyond. Kudos to Brookdale Cushing Park and the wonderful staff working there!

I visit Brookdale often and have connected with some of the residents there. They all seem so happy and well cared for! I've attended some events the community puts on and everyone is always having a blast!

Called to check on my 92 yo Dad, a significantly hearing impaired veteran who can't always hear his phove even when volume is high. Office phone isn't answered after 5pm. I've checked many times. Strong odor of urine iby the elevator. 8 hour advanced reservations required for any dining room guest popping in family member. Shop around, rent quite high, money is spent on image, grounds not indoor imaintainence.
