I contacted the Arbors at Dracut 6 months ago, just after our family decided that Mom wasn't able to live alone anymore. Anne-Marie was wonderful! She compassionately explained what The Arbors provided for its residents. I remember saying to her, "that's exactly what Mom needs". She moved in a week later. Mom has a place to live safely, with a caring staff to assist her with self-care, daily meals in the restaurant-like dining room, and the freedom to participate in the numerous activities, providing her with many opportunities to socialize with the other residents and staff. The 1-bedroom apartment is spacious with large windows and ample storage. Weekly housekeeping is excellent! Mom has settled in nicely. She has made several friends. She enjoys playing bingo, trivia games and sing-alongs and has made several craft items. She especially looks forward spending time with the young farm animals who visit The Arbors each month.

Would like to thank everyone at the Arbors for the exceptional care that was provided for my Dad when he was a resident here. Although Dad passed two years ago this week I am still grateful to everyone for all the devoted attention I witnessed, with all of their residents. We were so lucky to be able to move Dad here the first week of March 2020, and were looking forward to gathering family to celebrate his Birthday in the function room on March 14th. Well between March 7th. and March 14th. , the world shut down due to the Covid pandemic. I can't say enough about how amazing this facility and it's staff responded and preformed during this most unique and stressful time period. On behalf of my Dad, Donald F. We couldn't be happier with The Arbors Assisted Living. From the moment we walked through the doors, the Director, AnnMarie Sousa made us feel completely welcome. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care helped ease what could have been a very stressful transition. My 92 year old mother has settled in beautifully and is truly thriving. The staff is attentive, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile. The environment is both safe and engaging, with plenty of activities that keep her mentally and socially active. The Arbors is a facility that is well thought out for the care of aging adults. My parents moved into a two bedroom in January after living 60 years in their home. Anne Marie was instrumental in helping making this transition as seamless as possible. The common areas are very comfortable and inviting. Their 2 BR apartment is spacious and cozy. The caring staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. My folks look a lot healthier since they moved in 4 months ago and I think the care has a lot to do with it. It is a relief to my family knowing that my parents are safe and well cared for. If you are considering this move for your parents, I highly recommend it.

My 90 year old mom has been able to live on her own until recently when she fell and broke her arm. We knew the perfect place for her was The Arbors in Dracut. My father in law has been a resident for almost 3 years so I have witnessed the incredible care and compassion from the staff and have seen friendships form between the residents. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and Mom immediately felt comfortable when she arrived. The kindness shown to her from the staff and residents was heartwarming. She has been there for almost 2 weeks and has high praise for everyone! She is eating really well, is socializing, and also has her quiet times. When it came time to move our mother into an assisted living facility after leaving her home of 60 years we knew we need look no further than The Arbors in Dracut. We have several friends who had family members there, and they had nothing but high praise for the facility, and the staff. As expected, my mother did not want to leave her home, so Anne Marie Sousa met with us, and explained that she could do a month-long stay to see how she liked it. This proved to be a great transition for my mother, as she did not know what to expect. That month-long stay made the decision an easy one for all of us. My mother has now been there for close to three years and we are so happy with our decision. Her apartment is always clean and well-maintained. The staff are so kind and gentle with her. They are very responsive whenever she needs anything. The management is top notch. She feels very at home there and we feel comfortable having her there. In summary, my family and I wholeheartedly recommend The Arbors in Dracut to anyone looking for a compassionate, well run, friendly and safe environment for their loved one.

We recently moved my mother into the Memory Care Unit at the Arbors. As you can imagine it was a very hard and emotional decision. I can honestly say that the entire staff has been absolutely wonderful. They have been kind and caring to my mother which really helped her to adjust to her new home. The Marketing Director, Ann Marie is so compassionate and supportive. She made the process so much less stressful and answered all my questions quickly and patiently. It makes the decision so much easier when you feel that your loved one is with a caring staff. They also have a new director of the Memory Care area (Adam) and he is absolutely the best. My mom immediately felt at ease with him. He fits perfectly into the culture there. They have a nurses on staff who are terrific and communicate extremely well. The actual facilities are beautiful and the activities are great. I would recommend the Arbors to anyone.

We looked into the Arbors of Dracut for three years. Ann Marie Sousa kept in touch with us throughout that period of time and was a wonderful help to us when it was time to move our parent to Assisted Living. It is a beautiful bright and caring home for our loved one. The decor is warm and inviting and the entire staff is loving and caring makes her feel like part of a family. Her apartment is perfect and roomy. Is cleaned weekly and assistance is provided for showers which is helpful. With the addition of a new activities director so many new things to do and little trips to take if you want. The first day a group of Residents were set up in advance to greet mom and show her around for several weeks. They now have become good friends. They have thought of everything to make this transition seem less. If you are looking for a safe friendly and homelike Assisted Living look no further, visit the Arbors. We checked out three and always came back to this one

A month ago we moved our loved one into The Arbors at Dracut. Being in the healthcare field, and doing what I do, I have been in all of the ALF's in the Merrimack Valley. That being said, I knew that we had A LOT of great places to choose from. We needed somewhere close by, easy for us to get to, and visit more often. We toured a few places, and The Arbors was the perfect match. Not only is it beautiful, but it is always clean and well maintained. They had a first floor, studio apartment available, which met our needs perfectly. It is spacious and bright and overlooks the courtyard. 2 minutes door to door! AnneMarie Sousa made the process so easy and comfortable. I can not say enough about the Resident Ambassador program! A resident was asked to partner up with our loved one, tour her around the community, bring her to the dining room and have meals with her, show her where the activities are, etc. She has been absolutely amazing and truly a godsend for helping our loved one transition so easily. There is never a great time to discuss moving from your home of almost 50 years, but this was the right time, the right place, with the right people. Thank you!

I applaud the reviews, they are well thought out. The Arbors does a good job handling all the different "personalities". Mom, once in a while, expresses a "kind word ". She just doesn't listen to an explanation because "she knows everything ". And only hears what she wants. She just expressed that the other day. LOL Each resident is given a choice to enter in to any activity offered if they want, or not. Up to them. That's life, either be engaged in life or sit back and watch.

Maybe one of the hardest decisions a family or person has to make is choosing an assisted living place for yourself or a loved one. I am leaving this review in the hope that it helps someone make that decision. The Arbors At Dracut feels like home. From the moment you walk in the door it is like you entered your best friends living room. Beautiful, calming and inviting. Just off the living room is a small snack or lunch room. Fresh pastries and lemon water available for everyone. The decor is well chosen from the furniture to the art. The Arbors has many meeting or sitting places. Small rooms or opens spaces for talking, playing games, reading or just an offer of a change of scenery. The private courtyard is an added bonus to spend time outside. I have a good friend who just moved in and her smile sealed the deal. Her apartment is beautiful and she is happy. Everyone knows her name and the staff is exemplary. If you are looking for an environment that feels more like a hotel then look no further. The Arbors at Dracut is HOME SWEET HOME!

I can't say enough about The Arbors at Dracut. My aunt and uncle have been living there for just over a year. When my aunt had a setback a few months ago and had to transition to a nursing home, Jonathan and Kellie showed why they are so successful in this field. The caring and compassion they have shown to my family has been outstanding. Jonathan is the Executive Director, and is running a business, but he has shown time and time again that he cares so much about the residents and their families. Kellie, the Resident Care Director, is one of the most compassionate people I've met. Both Jonathan and Kellie have been so supportive of my uncle and my family throughout this ordeal. My parents are in their 80s and I was concerned about them living totally on their own. They were one of the first to move into The Arbors at Dracut. The staff is really wonderful. The monthly newsletter from Judy also gives family members who don’t live nearby a glimpse of the activities at the Arbors to keep them informed. The Arbors at Dracut is also in an ideal location with a CVS across the street, a Circle Health Urgent Care next door and a new rehabilitation and nursing facility to be built behind it. I would recommend checking out the facility since it is the best in the area.

The Arbors at Dracut is a beautiful facility. The furnishings and decor make the Arbors feel like a very welcoming place. Every space, including the residents’ apartments, is kept immaculately clean. Most importantly, the staff are friendly and professional. When we were looking for an assisted living facility for my mother when it became apparent that she could no longer be safe living on her own, Jonathan Athanas, Executive Director, took his time answering our questions without making us feel any pressure to make a decision. He was very knowledgeable about options that were open to us and went out of his way to answer any questions we had. We know that our mom is in good hands at The Arbors at Dracut.
