My mother came to the Linden following rehab for an injury. The staff is friendly and caring, they have great activities, and my mom enjoyed the food, I have slept better at night knowing she's in a safe and caring community.

I'd give more stars than 5 if I could!!! The staff in the Opal Memory Care facility at the Linden are wonderful in all areas. Last week, my wife, who is a patient, had visits from 3 separate groups of people. They ALL contacted me afterwards and told me how impressed they were with the care, compassion and love that the staff gives to the patients. They also commented on how nicely the facility was maintained and how CLEAN everything is.

A Hidden Gem! The Linden is a Hidden Gem! It is thoroughly clean and tidy. The staff are incredibly caring and compassionate. I give a shout out to all staff -- administrative, front desk, housekeeping, facilities, dining services. It is evident the staff are happy and work well as a team. Having to suddenly make life changes for a loved one is very distressing, but I could not have asked for a more understanding and supportive team to work with than Donna, Mike, Elaine, and Danielle. They were instrumental in getting my brother settled into a suitable apartment for his needs and appropriate level of care services. The location is serene, surrounded by trees and woods in the distance where one may see a deer or fox on occasion. The Linden is a fabulous community.

Friendly staff, warm atmosphere, clean facility, and Happy Residents! I visit the Linden once a week. I have been impressed with the level of care and engagement with residents, both in the assisted-independent living area and the OPAL care unit. There is always something scheduled to keep the residents entertained and socially active. I have felt very safe with their COVID protocols and see the staff taking the safety of residents very seriously.

My dad stayed here while it was Brookdale and then again after it was the Linden. I highly recommend it. The staff was great. Very helpful during trying times for us as a family, and a global pandemic. Dad was safe and well cared for.

The staff at Linden truly care for their residents. We have seen first hand their kindness and compassion with my mother in law. Our family knows she is safe and well-taken care of. The staff is easily accessible and available. The Linden does an excellent job communicating, which is especially important give the uncertainty of these times. I want to thank Heather who is charge of the Opal Unit. Shes always positive, helpful and genuinely cares about the residents. Elaine, one if the nurses, has also been extremely helpful. The place is clean, residents are given many food options and there are a lot of programs to engage residents. My family is extremely pleased with the Linden.

Our mom has called the Linden at Dedham home for the past 5 years. She is in the memory care (OPAL) section of the facility. I cannot express how deeply grateful my sisters and I are for the warm and heartfelt care she receives there. Heather and her team are wonderful. They work hard to provide their residents quality of life through activities, socialization, outings, music, art , and food. Most importantly, they truly care about residents safety, health and happiness. They openly communicate with families to keep our loved ones comfortable as their conditions change over time. The nursing aides that provide direct care treat my mom with love and dignity. The staff have done an incredible job of keeping their residents safe in this pandemic. Through setting and enforcing rules as well as providing prompt testing when necessary, they were able to keep things under control. Its just another example of their caring and competency. Entrusting your most vulnerable loved ones into someone elses care is a huge leap of faith. We are so happy that we chose the Linden at Dedham.

My mother has lived at the Linden since 2017. She started out on the assisted living side, but now lives on the memory care unit. As she approaches her 89th bday, I cannot say enough great things about this facility. The nurses and caregivers are compassionate, intuitive and attentive to her needs. The chef makes great meals for the residents. There are always activities (including arts and crafts, and even better, live entertainers!) for the residents to enjoy. The unit she lives on is spotlessly clean. And most happily of all, she is content and has made some great friends (including staff and other residents). I would recommend the Linden at Dedham for anyones parent(s) who is-are no longer able to live independently.

My mother has been at Linden for 2.5 years and has recently moved from the Assisted Living unit to OPAL. She has recently beaten Covid19 and has made a strong comeback over the last few months. Danielle, Elaine and Heather and the staff have provided my mother exceptional service and care during this period of time and especially since she has come back from the hospital. Her Doctor visited her this week and shared a number of unsolicited comments about the quality of the facility, assessment documentation and staff. Having people that care about my mothers well being and happiness like the staff at the Linden validates she is in the right place.

He also brings his little French bulldog puppy and everyone at the residence loves to pet her! Ive lots of personal family experience with nursing homes, assisted living and the diagnosis of dementia. The Linden at Dedham is very good. My family member has resided there for almost 1 year. The leadership team at Linden is excellent. Covid has been extremely difficult for all of us. Whether it was at work, at home trying to educate our children or caring for our parents or grandparents. My family member has been married 63 years and never have they been apart for such a long period of time. Linden has done tremendous job managing the clinical side of Covid but also being transparent with communication and working with families to avoid contact, because that is the right thing to do and exceeding expectations to provide family members alternate methods to communicate. Heather the Manager for the memory care unit is compassionate, thoughtful and shares really nice ideas on how to make our family member feel connected without having contact. In the middle of the Covid surge, for my family members birthday, she went above and beyond, on her day off, to coordinate the celebration and worked with the staff so my family member could open gifts via facetime with her family, playing videos we created and decorating her room. I genuinely believe my family member thought we were all sitting in the same room. It was fantastic. Elaine, the Nurse Manager, is always quick to respond to questions and provide follow up. I have been impressed with the nurses. Specifically,. LaDonna is kind, genuinely cares for each resident and is so good about reporting her concerns or needs of a family member. Danielle, the Director of the Facility, is responsive, takes feedback seriously and will promptly address concerns. The memory care has excellent program coordinators. Ashley and Nicole are energetic and work to keep the residents happy and involved in activities. Sometimes my family member just needs some time and they will just sit, rub her back and share stories. These moments cannot be underestimated on the importance of caring for someone with end stage dementia, Overall the nursing assistants are good. Some are outstanding, I am sorry, I dont know all their names. My family member lived in the same home for almost 65 years, she was never going to leave. When dementia took its grip and we had to seek 24 hour care I never thought she could adjust to calling Linden home. After a day out and having dinner with the family, when I bring her back, the nursing assistants will greet her. Most often, my family member will greet the assistant with the biggest smile and hug! Now, these individuals are like family to her. Thats when I know it is ok! For any family who is going through the very difficult journey of looking for alternative care for your loved one, I would not hesitate to recommend Linden. No facility will ever be good enough for a loved one, but sometimes we have to make difficult decisions. You can be assured that Linden at Dedham is an excellent option.

My mother has been there for several years and loves if. Keeps her social and honestly alive. We brought her home for several months and found she spent 16 hours per day in front of the television, sleeping and just downright depressed. Now she goes and goes and goes - walker and all. If she watches an hour of television a day, it is a lot. She is turning 90 in May and very happy. They go on field trips, have daily exercise classes, play bingo and other games, wine and cheese and entertainment. Her life is full and she is thoroughly cared for. Excellent facility and staff. couldnt be more pleased.

Our Dad has been living at The Linden at Dedham a for little over a year and he recently transitioned to the Memory care unit. We have been so pleased with the loving care he has received every step of the way. The nurses and staff are genuinely caring and help him have the lifestyle and experience that fit his needs and personality. The building and grounds are very well maintained. It is a beautiful home for him now that he needs extra care. I can not say enough about the support he (and we) receive.

Heather, the Resident Program Supervisor contacted our corporate wellness company to come on-site and provide chair massages to residents. We could tell from the get-go that the team at The Linden goes above and beyond to create a wonderful environment for their residents. Our massage therapist had a blast working with the group and Heather reported that all the residents had big smiles on their face after the massages!

The Linden at Dedham is a perfect place for someone to retire to. Someone who is adaptable and able to make decisions for their health and well being , with able assistance from the excellent staff.it is very close to Boston, but is surrounded by fields, trees and many beautiful aspects of nature. Including birds..There are opportunities for hiking, socializing and musicians and others with special talent, are brought in regularly. To entertain the guests and staff.

A special call out is necessary for Patricia Sampson who has invested so much time and energy to ensure my mothers transition from the Ellis Nursing Home to the Linden went as smoothly as possible. The Linden has been my Moms home since May 2015. Its been a wonderful place for her to live! She had a beautiful apartment in Assisted Living for four years. This past Spring, we had to make the very difficult decision to move her to their Opal (Memory Care) wing. Each and every staff member made the transition easier for Mom.......and for us too! This past April, Mom had a stroke. After many weeks of hospital and rehab stays, the Linden staff was instrumental in getting Mom back home to The Linden. She was so very happy to return to her familiar setting with the services and support she needs. The staff is outstanding and Mom continues to take part in all the wonderful daily activities. We cant thank The Linden enough for all they do for Mom!!

Our mother, who will be 95 next month, had been in the assisted living section of the Linden and was fairly independent. She had a fall, and then later a stroke, and the aftermath of those events involved hospitals and rehab facilities. In the middle of that, she was transferred from Linden's Assisted Living to Memory Care, but was only there briefly before being hospitalized. During all this tumultuous, stressful time, the staff from Linden were absolutely wonderful to us. They checked on how our mom was doing, visited her at the hospital and rehab facilities, and helped us plan for her transition back to Linden. Elaine and Pat were particularly great to our mom and to us!! Their attitude was clearly one of helping our mother "get home" to Linden. The people there know and love our mother, and have been so supportive in planning to get her back. Because of their ongoing support and guidance, our mother's transition back to Memory Care at Linden has been extremely successful, and Mom is recuperating better than expected! Also, her time in rehab made us realize that not all facilities have the fantastic activities for residents that Linden has (Yay, Heather!!). Having the elderly sit around endlessly watching television, which is what many at the rehab facility were doing, is NOT helpful during times of being cognitively challenged and emotionally disrupted! The wonderful attention and fun activities....and great company!.....at Linden has really helped our mother (and my sisters and I too!) during a very challenging time. She feels that she is "home" again. The Linden staff are fantastic and are greatly appreciated!!! Many, many thanks for helping Mom (and her daughters!) through a tough time.

The Linden at Dedham was being remodeled, so everything was updated. The person who took me around had lots of knowledge and was very involved. The staff was very friendly. There were a lot of people gathering in the great room, just for conversation, and enjoying themselves. The food looked very good, and they had a lot more variety than some of the other areas.

We were very happy with Brookdale Dedham. They answered any questions we had and were quite willing to sit down and spend time with us. The staff we encountered were fine and very helpful. The rooms were fine for what they were, especially if you're coming from your own home. The dining room was very nice. They had tablecloths, and the menu was very good.

I visited Emeritus at Wilson Mountain. On my first visit, I was able to meet the case manager. They gave me literature information, and I was mostly interested in the short-term respite program like a month-to-month respite. Outside it was very neat and clean. The dining room I saw and the lobby were very well maintained. The staff was multi-cultural. They had a structured schedule for the seniors and clients. They had meals. They had medication management. They had a small pharmacy on site. They also had transportation. It was a very upscale and very impressive site.

I liked the Emeritus at Wilson Mountain very much, but what I did not like is they continually contacted me afterwards to the point of harassment almost. Everything was very nice, and I loved it. It was clean, caring, and well-equipped. There were a lot of activities, and they had very nice spaces, like the eating room and the kitchen. Of all the places we looked at, we liked this one the best.

The staff is wonderful at Emeritus Wilson Mountain. My friend is safe. It meets everything that she need. She's well cared for and fed with wonderful food. It was a perfect place for her. The rooms are lovely. The first place she had had a living room and bedroom. It was beautiful. Now, she's in memory care, which is equally as nice but a little smaller. They have everything and anything that they're interested in. If they like to cook, if they want to get on the computer, they encourage them to do what they like. They're also welcoming and it's a lovely facility. It's clean, bright, it's happy. It's everything you'd want.

I did like Emeritus At Wilson Mountain. I thought it was a very nice facility. It was expensive though. It costs a lot of money to go there, so we didn't really choose that, but it would have been closer for me. I really considered going there. It was a beautiful building and it was more than I expected. It was also very modern and very nice inside. The rooms were beautiful. They were very well appointed but you have to bring your own furniture in. The dining room was nice. For activities, they did have exercise equipment which was very nice I think. The folks were very pleasant and friendly. When I visited, the staff was very nice, very good, very professional and very caring and informative. I thought they did a nice job.
