Our Dad CHOSE to move to assisted living, He wanted to maintain autonomy. He and my sister visited several facilities. There are some truly showstopping places out there. Why did he choose Christopher Heights? The people!!!! The staff and the residents have an air of conviviality that turned out to ring true to the spirit of the community. Our father settled in and made friends. The kind of friendships where roots are planted. So many wonderful people, staff and residents alike. The place is always spic and span, great events and ROAD TRIPS to enjoy. If I were to talk about the chef and how fantastic the food was I wouldn't be able to also mention the fantastic summer bbq events that the entertainment director hosts on Wednesdays. I would like to mention outstanding staff by name but there are too many.

My Dad and I visited many facilities in the area before he chose Christopher Heights. He has said multiple times it was the perfect choice for him. It offers the best of both worlds, allowing him to be as independent as possible while offering him the security of knowing help is just a call away. He equates it to living in a four-star hotel with some of the nicest people. The staff made the transition as easy. He is living his best life with people who share similar life experiences, enjoying a wide variety of activities including weekly excursions to local sites and events. Finally, I cannot say enough about the staff, they are outstanding! My Dad is surrounded by some of the best companions who are patient and genuinely care about the residents. He definitely made the right choice with Christopher Heights.

Color me impressed. Doesn't matter the day of the week or time of day, whenever I stop by to visit my friend Roy it's like walking into a resort. Everything from the landscaping , the "salons" to the folks who live and work there Christopher Heights is a wonderful place to live and visit.

Mom spent the winter of '23-24 at this assisted living home - on the social plan. She was treated with dignity and respect by the loving and caring staff. "CLEAN" has always been an extremely high priority for this 98-year old lady - and she found it to her liking. Her apartment was in like new condition when she moved in, yet the facility is 5-years old. The "social" aspect was a priority for her to get through the winter and there were events of some sort everyday - music, bingo, singing, etc. - plus that all-important 3-4 PM time in the pub. Since not a morning person, she missed the exercises and some AM music programs, She found the fireplace in the lobby a nice attraction and distraction during the winter months. The hallways were a great place for her to walk at any hour of the day or night and then came Spring. Outside walks surround the building and lead on to the community senior center and beyond, in both directions with crosswalks well marked and the traffic flow interrupted by turns, keeping the speed down. I, her son, give it a solid A! A lovely spot!

Christopher Heights is amazing! I cannot say enough positive things about this facility. All of the staff members there are so caring and compassionate and literally treated us like family. They went above and beyond to help my mom with her transition to assisted living. I highly recommend Christopher Heights to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved one.

I am forever grateful for finding Christopher Heights of Belchertown for my mother. She is absolutely thriving at 97. I don't think I could have found a kinder, more compassionate place for her to live. The staff is exceptional, the facility is beautiful and very well kept. The activities are varied and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Outside entertainment comes in on a regular basis and is enjoyed by all. If you are looking for a safe and caring facility for your loved one, do not hesitate to make an appointment with Lorna Stone, the Admissions Director for a tour of this lovely facility.

We are so appreciative of Christopher Heights Assisted Living Facility! My father-in-law has been living there for six months. The kitchen chef has been so helpful with his gluten free diet. The warm feelings we get from the entire staff has really helped his transition. This is a beautiful facility we all are fortunate to have found during this time!

My mother and in-laws were part of the Christopher Heights community in Belchertown until my in-laws passing and my mother's care needs became unsustainable for assisted living. I cannot say enough about the staff, nurses, and administrators who for the five years made this feel like home.

My mother has been a resident of Christopher Heights of Belchertown for several months. I've waited to write a review to see how things would work out for her. We were experiencing some challenges in her previous living situation and Assisted living was the best choice in her case. I could not be more pleased with the way she has adjusted. The staff is caring but allow a sense of privacy. The food and the atmosphere are top notch. The facility is beautiful. For the first time in years I have confidence after our visits that she will be not just OK but happy and getting the support she needs. Big thanks to Lorna and to all the helpers who really care about the residents.

My wife and I cannot express enough our sincerest gratitude to the entire staff, especially Lorna S., for their professionalism and kindness working with us on a shortened time-frame to accept my mother-in-law as a resident of Christopher Heights. This is my 3rd year living at Christopher Heights of Belchertown. I am very happy with the service I am provided. They take great care of me daily. I enjoy the activities such as games, music and my favorite, Bingo!

Since March 13th, -August 4, 2020, I had been in hospitals, rehabs and covid units. Some were like night and day. The food was served on styrofoam plates and not very good. Some of the staff did not behave in a professional manner. Nurses were overworked but still pleasant and caring. My family found Christopher Heights of Belchertown and were very impressed with the premises. I moved into Christopher Heights on August 4th. During the pandemic, our meals were served and brought to our apartments and served on ceramic dishes.The companions(CNA), the staff treat you like family.. All of their personalities shine through immediately. All Christopher Heights apartments are not identical but are equipped with heat, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, and a full private bathroom! We are encouraged to hang pictures to make it feel like home. Activities, games, exercise classes plus more are provided daily. The grounds are neatly kept with benches, flower and vegetable gardens. The porch is very welcoming. You are more likely to run into people you know as I have. I am very happy to be here. It is a place for you to grow and meet a lot of people. You certainly will not feel and be alone. You should come and see for yourself.

We moved my mom into Christopher Heights in March of this year(2020) and our experience there has been exceptional. The response and communication from administration throughout the pandemic has been excellent. Social services, health care and companions are compassionate, attentive and friendly. In fact, everyone we have met there demonstrates the same empathetic, caring, and friendly demeanor. Their genuine concern for the residents is obvious and reassuring. My mom had a dietary issue upon arrival which was immediately addressed and never became a problem. Communication from staff has been excellent especially with simple "check in" phone calls to share and/or gather information regarding my mom especially when we were not allowed to visit. The facility is beautiful and the rooms are bright and comfortable. The maintenance staff keeps the facility looking great and running smoothly. Additionally, the common areas are very inviting and the list of activities is substantial. I would highly recommend Christopher Heights of Belchertown as an outstanding option for a loved one who may be in need of an assisted living situation in a safe, nurturing environment.

Five stars are not enough. My mom and dad were among the first people to move into Christopher Heights when it first opened last year. The staff, from administration to maintenance, to reception, to care givers...are second to none. I have been in the eldercare business for 34 years and I have never experienced such genuine concern for residents and such outstanding assistance to families trying to (at times) make difficult decisions for their elderly loved ones. The facilities are beautiful, the activities are engaging, and communication is timely and relevant. Whenever I am trying to assist folks looking for appropriate options for their elderly loved ones, and the discussion of moving to a facility arises, I immediately suggest Christopher Heights of Belchertown.
