The Residence at Valley Farm is a warm and welcoming place to live. The residents are not only nice, but also are very interesting people. There are plenty of areas to mingle and get to know your neighbors. They have a diverse selection of activities, even with occasional guest speakers who come to talk about fun topics. The staff are wonderful and so caring for the people that live here as well as family members who come to visit. I highly recommend The Residence at Valley Farm

The Residence at Valley Farm is an outstanding community. Everyone is warm, welcoming and goes out of their way to make you feel at home. I was amazed at how quickly all the staff knew both my sister and my name. My sister was the resident, but the staff made me feel part of the community as well. The fact that I could join activities with my sister was wonderful. The move in process was seamless, the dining and activity options are well planned. I have to also commend the housekeeping and maintenance staff that keep the community well maintained. Over the course of the months, as my sister required increased assistance, (which was delivered in her apartment), the team was professional and caring in helping to negotiate the next steps. Any questions or concerns were answered or addressed within a timely manner. A special thank you to Tiffany, Mimi and the RCA’s who went above and beyond to care for my sister. In time, my sister needed to move into Memory Care. There was no availability at Valley Farm, but there was at a sister community nearby. Again the staff at both communities went out of their way to make the move as easy as possible. My sister is doing well in her new community. I commend LCB as an organization for their ability to attract dedicated, caring and knowledgeable staff. I would recommend the Residence at Valley Farm to anyone looking for the Independent, Assisted Living and Memory continuum of care for themselves or a family member.

The Residence at Valley Farm is such a beautiful residential senior living community. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the immaculate cleanliness and could feel the care that the team provides to their residents. On our tour, many of the front line staff made it a point to go out of their way to smile and introduce themselves. I was impressed with their leadership team as they were very knowledgeable about the role they play in their respective departments. Food is very important to my loved one and we had one of the best lunches that we have had when touring senior living communities. We also had the chance to participate and attend the local history lecture. We are beyond excited to be moving forward with our decision in choosing Valley Farm, it really felt like a home.

An update (May 9, 2024) My mother passed away a few weeks ago, and now is an appropriate time to acknowledge the wonderful support she received in her end of life transition. The nursing staff were very communicative and responsive to my mother's medication needs. Kudos to Donna, Mimi, and Mildred for always being there for each of the changes over the last few months. Additionally, the aides, continued to provide very caring support as if they were family until the very end, Liliana in particular. We would highly recommend Residence at VF for any family looking for assisted living services, and would recommend to approach the services provided in a collegial way, for it takes both VF and the family to work together, to maximize the experience. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The aides have been absolutely wonderful in their support of my mother in the Reflections (Memory Care) area. They treat her as if my mother was their mother. From taking care of her everyday living needs like bathing, cleaning, to always engaging her in conversation. Moreover, their desire to promote her participation in the daily activities provided to all of the residents. In particular, kudos go out to Lilliana, Nubi and Alex, who go above an beyond what my family would have expected from support aides. I am thankful we have decided to utilize Residence at Valley Farms services and the overall environment that my mother now experiences.

The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and kind.. the food is exceptional. The chef is one of a kind just like eating at a five-star restaurant. My sister lives at The Residence. It has been wonderful. The staff are so kind and helpful. They get to know each resident and make them feel at home. The food is delicious and very healthy. The building is lovely, nicely decorated, many common areas, always very clean. Social programs are plentiful and engaging. We couldn't be happier!

I am so pleased with the care The Residence at Valley Farm is giving my family member. The management staff, nurses and caregivers are responsive and communicative, the activities are plentiful and engaging, and the food and service staff are both top notch. I find the care of my elderly mother at Valley Farms has been top shelf! The facility is clean, they have many activities for the residents, and the staff is fabulous! However, what really stands out is the people who work there! From the administration, maintenance staff, medical professionals, the chefs who prepare the meals, and most importantly, the people who care every day for the residents- they always keep their residents care as their primary focus. What really stands out is the staff’s personal care of the residents. They really do spend time to know each resident and be cognizant of thier individual needs, personalities and the family members who visit. They don’t just care for their physical needs, but they’re emotional and mental needs as well When I have gone in the memory care unit and ask the staff members how my mother is doing they all can tell you if she is having a good day, or perhaps acting a little out of character etc., and give specific instances they have observed. I know my siblings, and I couldn’t be any happier with the care and attention that my mother gets from the people who work there. The people are always upbeat and helpful, and usually do it with a smile! I have told friends about Valley Farms, and have recommended Valley Farms for their families. I would recommend the care at Valley Farms to any people exploring options for their loved ones!

The staff at Residence at Valley Farms go above and beyond to make each resident feel at home. My mom receives amazing care from all of the staff starting with the front office with Christine Brown to the management with Brad and all of the caretakers and nursing staff in the memory care unit. The Residence at Valley Farm is a wonderful living option for seniors looking for the comforts of home, amenities of a nice hotel, activities to keep busy and a caring staff. With a variety of options from independent living up to full memory care you can tailor your needs to the service options and levels offered. My mom moved in about 18 months ago and everyone was so welcoming which really helped her settle in. The restaurant has a diverse and delicious menu. My mom started in the assisted living area and as time progressed she needed to move to memory care. The staff was enormously helpful both in identifying when the time for this transition was approaching as well as ensuring it went smoothly. The memory care area provides numerous activities and staff that work to get the residents engaged. Our family has been so happy with The Valley as we call it, knowing my mom is in a safe supportive environment and receiving the care and attention she needs. We visit multiple times each week and the facility is always clean and the staff is so welcoming to us. Thank you Valley Farm!

My mom has been at The residence at Valley farm for 6 months. She is happy and enjoying life. She loves talking with the residents and staff, going on community trips for ice cream, eating homemade pizza on fridays, and spending time outside on the patio. Whenever I call or visit, staff are well informed and tell me what she has been busy doing all day. The nursing staff is extremely helpful during medication changes and recognizing any health concerns or fluctuations in moms abilities/alertness. I can’t say enough about how hard the staff work to make sure the residents are well cared for and happy. Thank you all for everything! The Denison family

Since my Mom and Dad came here to live a little more than a year ago, the experience has been priceless especially with the passing of my Mom. The sincerity of the caring is heartfelt, and my Dad has been adjusting to the loss of his beautiful bride of 60 years so much better than we thought, and I attribute much of that to the staff and residents. Choosing to have my Mom and Dad come here to the "Farm" to live has definitely been one of the best decisions our Family has ever made.

Valley Farm is by far the top Assisted Living in the area. From the time you walk in the front door and are greeted by Dorothy to the incredible Nursing team led by Tiffany. Brad, Executive Director can often been found sitting with residents and visiting with families. If you walk the grounds day or night, they are impeccably cared for. The decor is warm and presents a "feels like home" feeling throughout. The food is fabulous and the activities are actually fun and exciting! The Resident at Valley Farm is an excellent facility for an aging family member. The Residents are helpful and friendly, staff provides outstanding service, last but not least the meal are the best .You can’t go wrong here. I am so thankful for the residence at Valley Farm and Ashland for many reasons. My mom is there as a respite resident which made it very easy to move her in as it was furnished, and all supplies she would need were provided. She has met some nice people, and the food is fantastic. Guests are allowed to dine with their residence for a fee and that is completely understandable, however I do feel that a few meals should be included in the monthly fee so residence feel that they can entertain their family and not have to be concerned about that. I would definitely recommend the residences at Valley Farm to anyone in need of such a facility for their loved ones. One more wonderful attribute is the fact that my mom was able to move in with her to four-legged children, her cats. This was extremely comforting to my mom that she did not need to leave them elsewhere.

While my wife was the first to reside here.at Valley Farm via a Medicare Respit program, it was through my earlier contact with the staff and management for an Art Show that made me realize if we needed independent/assisted living , this was the place. All involved with our stay have been pleasant and professional. I am now a member of the Resident Advisory Committee to help resolve those minor complaints that can and do arise

My mother was released from a three week stay in rehab with a broken shoulder. She was too weak to go home and could not be by herself. She was able to stay at Valley Farm for a 30 day respite stay. She required assistance going to meals and personal care. Everyone at Valley Farm was attentive to all her needs. I cannot say enough about the care she received. In addition, the food is the best, rivaling top restaurants in the Metro West area. Due the the great care and food, my mother's condition improved significantly. A wonderful facility.

The Residence at Valley Farm is absolutely perfect for my parents. Everyone on staff is happy, compassionate, up beat and always there with a smile. This is evident when you see how happy the residents are. If you asked my parents what they would change, they would smile and say nothing. The food is always fresh, healthy and delicious. My parents are friends with everyone, love the activities (many to choose from), and are made to feel special. The BEST part of all is when my parents go for their neurology evaluation and the MD believes that their environment has proved to increase overall cognition and happiness which he usually doesn't see in Alzheimer's patient.

Valley Farm has been a great fit for my dad and our family. We spent a fair amount of time looking at different places. From the moment I walked into Valley Farm and met a few of the staff and a few of the residents, I knew it was the right place for us. It is a warm and caring community. From the management team that is always there to help make it even better, to the team that provides care for my dad day to day, to the team that fills his days with activities and events, to the maintenance and grounds crew that keep the place humming, to the dining room staff and in particular the amazing high school kids who help him plan and serve his meals!

We moved our Mom to Valley Farm in June after looking at a number of assisted living facilities in the area. It has been a great choice with their conscientious staff, terrific facility and excellent food. It's great to know she's in a safe and caring place.

It's truly a wonderful place, the apartments are new, bright and spacious and all the staff is wonderful, caring and accommodating, even the chef came out to meet us on move in day! Once we moved my grandmother here, we knew we had made the right decision.
