I am so thankful that my father is cared for by such an exceptional staff at the Atrium at Cardinal Drive. When our Dad had reached the point he couldn’t stay at home on his own any longer, we visited a few places & when we found The Atrium at Cardinal Drive, we knew we had found the perfect home. It truly is a “home, sweet, home” thanks to the clean, thoughtfully decorated residence as well as the wonderful staff that makes our Dad feel comfortable & loved. I feel they love our Dad just as much as we do!

Mom moved here to The Atrium a little over a year and 1/2 ago. We moved her here from Stonebrook Village in Windsor Locks. What my family and I would like for you to know is this. If you are looking for a loving, caring, and intelligent staff to look after your loved one, The Atrium at Cardinal Drive is where you want to be. Everyone here has treated our mom and our whole family with the utmost of dignity, love, and kindness. The staff continually throughout the day interact with all of the residents keeping them stimulated and entertained. This is truly our moms home. If she chooses to take a nap on the couch, so be it. If all of the residents are doing a craft and she would rather read the newspaper, no worries. She is free to be happy. Our mom is now at the final stage of her days with us. Beacon Hospice has made this process a peaceful one for us. We have been by moms side for the last 3 days and we can not tell you enough that EVERY staff member, from the Nurses, Aides, Chefs, Maintenance personnel, Cleaning staff and Receptionists have been amazing, loving, and kind. We will miss all of them very much but will carry them in our hearts.

My mom is in the process of joining The Atrium community from another memory care facility in Westfield. We have researched many of these facilities in the Western MA area before choosing The Atrium. Our experience with Allison Baker has been very positive. She is a very caring, thorough and patient Atrium representative and has made our transition a welcoming one and much less stressful.

Just to update now that my mother has been at the Atrium for over a year. This place is fabulous! My mother has been kept safe all through the COVID crisis. She is treated with dignity and respect, and so are we. The entire staff is kind, professional, and accessible. If you have a family member with dementia, this is by far the best place in the area for your loved oneWe moved my mother to the Atrium when her dementia made it too difficult for her to be in a more traditional assisted living facility. She made an easy adjustment because the staff knew just how to make her feel safe and comfortable. Now she is much less agitated and more at ease than she has been in a long time. The staff is amazing---friendly, warm, helpful, and supportive of my mother and of us.

My mother lived at the Atrium from January - November 2019 and she was cared for in the most professional and loving manner I could imagine. The entire staff is dedicated, compassionate, and very well trained. I did not expect an institution to be a good fit for mother, and was not only pleasantly surprised, but really blown-away by how well her needs were met by The Atrium. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

We have tenured, trained staff that provide loving care and an engaging environment for our residents! We meet our residents where they are in their journey and provide care and medication administration, oversight, and engagement to meet their needs in a spacious home-like environment designed specifically for individuals with memory loss.

I am very impressed with how caring the staff is with the residents. They are very patient and well trained. You get the feeling that that they not only do their job but also go above and beyond. I have spoken with several and all are very nice people.I am also impressed with the administrative staff, in particular Allison Baker.Admitting a family member is hard. She went out of her way to make it less stressful, is a good listener and empathetic.
