Been meaning to leave this review for a min. My wife and I dragged our feet (cost mainly) on getting some care for Dad. We settled on Nola Home Care's minimum (8hr/4days a week) and it made a HUGE difference. Fast forward until now, wife and I just took our first vacation in 3 years thanks to Nola Home Care and our sitters. Our regular day lady Janice helped out a lot and we were able to have great new sitters the rest of the time. Dad can't stop saying how nice everyone was. About to book our next vacation lol. 5 freakin' stars.

We hired Nola Homecare to care for my father. My father was placed in the hospital because of a bad fall he had at home. We were advised to look for a company that does 24 hour care if we wanted him to be safe at home by himself. I wish to leave a review about the caregivers that I have coming to my home. Both of the ladies are the best caregivers I've ever encountered. I was so nervous when my family said I needed to have someone with me during the day. Last time they said that, the friend we had come... well let's just say she's no longer my friend. Sad, but moving forward. The Nola Home Care ladies are my new friends and they help me so much. First they come everyday. On time too. I look forward to seeing them so much. They are always smiling and want to talk with me, ask me how I'm feeling, maybe what we should get ready for lunch or any errands for the day. Oh and appointments too. Originally we had signed up with another agency after my Aunt’s discharge from skilled nursing, but they only managed to come 3 out of the first 5 scheduled days. I can’t say enough good thing’s about my experiences with Brian (owner), office staff and caregivers at Nola Home Care. They are extremely professional, the company is very well run, and everyone I’ve dealt with was so compassionate from beginning to end. Brian has a warm friendly demeanor, as does everyone I’ve interacted with there, especially my mom’s caregiver. She took such good care of my mom, and improved my moms quality of life and emotional state while caring for her. We interviewed several home care agencies and without a doubt, we could "feel" that Nola @Home Care was the best option for us, and we were right! We have the upmost trust with the care team and appreciate the great communication and assistance in making this transition out of the nursing home. Dad, and the family have never been happier! Dad's health and quality of life has significantly improved! It hurts me so bad hearing the stories (close to us) of what is going on in these homes and reading the newspaper article today that says about a third of all the deaths in CV-19 originated in nursing homes is frightening. My family is grateful to have found Nola Home Care to help us with my mother who has dementia. Of all of the home care companies we met with we by far had the most trust in Nola Home Care. They were able to come out the day we called them and they put us at ease with the expertise they have when dealing with dementia. The caregivers and office staff have been wonderful to work with.

NOLA @ Home Care was a great choice for my Grandmother 94 yrs, and never had anyone in her home to care for her. The caregivers were very friendly, caring and professional " Ashley and Gigi". This care allowed my Grandmother to continue to live in her house and when assistance was needed they were there. They helped with bathing, curling hair, dressing and painting fingernails and many other task she was no longer able to do. They prepared meals that my Grandmother enjoyed enough to even tell other family members about them. We only had NOLA in her home for a few months but was a great choice. A special thank you to Ashley and Gigi.
